Trapped in the Kalimati Forest
Chapter 6. Ivan's Confession

Rania and her two friends looked at Ivan with faces full of questions and hopes, that Ivan who knew more about the forest, would know how to get them out of there.

However, when asked by Rendra. Ivan froze, avoiding eye contact from Rania, Rendra and Nita. "Van, answer dong! You must know our way out of here and where Mila is?" Rendra repeated his question to Ivan in a loud voice.

"Guein..."

Rania stared intently at Ivan, "Van, did Lo lie about Lo ever coming into this forest with Opa, Lo?" accuse Rania.

Ivan choked, then looked at Rania. "Gue didn't lie! I'm the same Opa I ever came here." replied Ivan firmly.

"Why don't you answer Rendra's question? Van, can we find Mila and get out of here?" nita asked with hope to Ivan.

Everyone was expecting Ivan, the person they thought they knew best about the ins and outs of the Kalimati forest. "Guys.. Actually I've been to this forest with my Opa, but I never get into it." said Ivan honestly.

Rania, Rendra and Nita are choking on hearing it. Even Nita to fall sitting on the forest land, with a face like lost hope.

"Van, don't joke Lo! We've come this far and believe the same thing Lo said, how can you talk like this!" Said Rendra pulling Ivan's shirt.

"Lo's the only place we depend on Van! Don't joke Van, please..." Rania holds her head, she doesn't want to resign.

"I'm sorry, sorry guys.gue has never been into this forest and I just got in front of him!"

"So who has ever entered this forest?!! Shit!" Rendra pushed Ivan in annoyance. It was as if all his hopes of survival were lost.

"Sorry..gue didn't mean to lie to you!" Ivan clasped his hands together and begged Rania, Rendra and Nita to forgive him.

Rania spoke that this was not Ivan's fault, but it was also his fault for insisting on entering the forest despite being reminded by the long-haired and white-colored grandfather. He also apologized to his friends, as all this was his fault. But what's the point of apologizing now? Mila's friend is missing and they are trapped in the forest together with a supernatural being who clearly shows themselves in front of them.

In addition to showing themselves, they also disturb the teenagers in the forest. Maybe they feel disturbed by their presence or they are just ignorant of Rania and her friends

"Okay stop, don't apologize again! All sorry for not being useful at this time, we better think about how we found Mila and get out of here!" Excited Nita who finally mediated the problem among his friends.

Ivan, Rendra and Rania seemed to think after hearing Nita's words. "Guys, how about we find a way out of here.We're still looking for someone to help find Mila."

"Gue agrees with Rania, we're still looking for Mila! Don't split up and stay together." said Rendra in agreement with Rania and Nita just nodded, she wanted to get out of the forest immediately, but with Mila as well.

"We go together, then the factory must also be together." Nita wiped her tears, she was crying from fear.

"Okay, we're from Mila.we don't split up."

After reaching a mutual agreement, Rania and her three friends search for Mila to the forest together. With two flashlights that they had brought from the tent before escaping from the supernatural creatures.

Rania and her friends were again dumbfounded to hear the sound approaching towards them. "Damn! That sound again!" Grumpy Ivan while grunting annoyed.

"Guys, what do we do?" Nita held Rendra's hand, her body trembling at the loud thumping sound of the strange traditional musical instrument at night.

Rendra, Rania and Ivan seemed to be thinking hard. Finally they decided to just run away from the sound, because if the sound was there. Then they'll be in trouble.

The four teenagers ran, until the sound slowly began to shrink, a sign that the supernatural beings were getting further and further away from them. While on the run, suddenly Nita who was at the very back disappeared.

Rania, Rendra and Ivan hear Nita screaming before she disappears.

"Ren, Van..stop! Nita..." Rania looked back and there was no one there. There was Nita before.

"Nita? Where's nita?!" Ask Rendra who also panicked by disappearing one of his friends.

"Nit! Nita!" call Rania screaming loudly.
