Legacies

As the sun rose, Kay's determination grew. It seems he has made up his mind. There are too many vague things about his past, and he will not be able to step into the future without clarity. The contents of the letter from Dad were too short and barely explained anything. While he had absolutely no starting line, how could he know where he finished?

He knew that clearer information might be found in the journal that his late father always carried everywhere. The old book that could almost be said to be tattered was a treasure that no one else should touch for his late father, but Kay could not find the book anywhere. But he still hasn't looked for it there, at my dad's desk, or the hidden room underneath. And this time, inevitably, it seems that he has to take risks...

"Just do it, boy. You're just delaying something inevitable. I'm tired." said Arborite when Kay made her suggestion about opening the space under the desk. Arborites grow weaker over time. The barrier of the human world eroded his strength too much..

"Hopefully this is my end." he continued weakly.

"You don't speak strangely, Old Devil." Kay said fiercely.

"Don't tell me you're afraid of losing me, son?" cynical taunts.

"It's good you shut up and talk in a slower tone, Bo. You know what would happen if Rayna heard about this?"

Arborite narrowed her eyes as she momentarily shuddered and hissed dangerously, "Don't call me by that name, Boy!"

Kay chuckled softly. Rayna is the only creature that keeps delaying and forcing so that no one interferes with anything in the circle. He continues to whine and disturb when Kay plans to enter the place. No one knows what will happen when it is done, and the fact that no one knows, he thinks it would be safer if it were not done.

"Hurry, Son. Before the gnarly ghost comes along and interrupts, do what you have to do. At a minimum, I don't have to see a silly face teary-eyed if it turns out that this damn symbol is destroying my existence." he urged further.

Kay sighed, trying to strengthen her heart and slowly entered the circle. But when nothing happened, the pace strengthened. He immediately headed to the old desk. And before long, his face shone with hope as the worn-out book cover he always remembered never escaped his late father greeted his vision. He immediately pulled the book out of the drawer and a yellow sheet of paper floated down from it. The writing in kawi letters and various symbols in a similar order to the floor he was stepping on immediately caught his attention, but when Kay was about to pick up and lift the sheet, Arborite's screams stopped her.

"Why, Bo?"

"Wait, Son. Don't you face that rotten sheet at me. I'd be worse than dead if you did that..."

"Damn it, then what am I supposed to do?" sergeant Kay frustrated. The room they were in right now was not spacious. If the paper had the ability to frighten the Arborite, it would not be something to joke about, while there was nowhere to hide.

*Lho, hasn't this sheet been here all along and nothing happened to Arborite?

Is it possible that this table can withstand the ability of this paper*?

"While you're there, you just let go of the drawer, Kay. Close the sheet with the book in your hand, and put it in the drawer, and get out of here..."

"So soon, you know what this is, Bo?"

"I don't need to know what that is, boy! I felt a very strong pressure and pull when the paper fell.." he urged further.

"Wait, it seems that this table can cover the effect this paper has on you, Bo. I'm gonna pull him over the counter barrier to see it."

"You don't know that for sure, boy!"

"Bo, why are you screaming at that? Where's kay?"

Suddenly, the sound like Rayna's wind chimes melodious that made them both aghast. The yellowed sheet of paper Kay had in hand emitted a powerful glow glow, which was instantly reflected by the bagua* glass neatly arranged on the ceiling of the room, just above Kay hiding behind the table. The light bathed the small room in a powerful flush, when faint, visible pulses emerged from nothingness.

"RAYNAA, GET OUT OF HERE!!!"

But it's too late...

Starting from the center of the circle, the white wall of light expanded and expanded at high speed. As if like the explosion of an electromagnetic cannon, a silent explosion occurred and suddenly, pushed the wall of light out, displacing every entity that was in the area. And as soon as he arrived, the light disappeared, leaving only Kay alone in the small room in a hunting breath, still in the same position.

"Ray's? Bo?"

This is can't be happening, this must not be happening.

Fear ambushed Kay. The room is empty!

"RAYYYYY!!! ARBORITEE!!!"

Damn it!!!

Kay was sitting in a doldrums as her mind was swept away by the acute grief that seemed to bring an unbearable chill to her heart. Just as he began to believe that everything would be fine, all of this happened in a row.

*Then, after this, how else should I go through all this???

God, if you do exist, tell me... How am I supposed to???

Your way is really strange in writing one's destiny*!

"Lord, ..."

"Don't you continue cursing the great, boy. You don't deserve it!"

"Abo!!!"

"I told you that the gnarly ghost is the problem! Fortunately, this time he became a problem solver, although purely because of luck. Damn it, boy, I really wish I could get to know your father, and stop your screaming."

"Eh, Bo, but what about Rayna?"

"Huh, it's just Rayna in your head. I don't know what luck will greet him. He was thrown a bit far away, and it seemed that the effect of the symbol was good for him. Get out of that place, kid. I don't want to come any closer!"

Kay chuckled at Arborite's cynical scolding that filled her consciousness. It's okay he nags as he pleases, as long as he doesn't disappear. Although reluctant, Kay enjoys this togetherness. He rushed the silly sheet back into the desk drawer and closed it. He just brought his father's old book and came out of the study. With what had just happened, he was increasingly curious about what kind of past involved such a strange thing. The symbols, the collection of figures, the old treasures that even make an entity like Arborite glow with admiration, and even the Bagua mirror???

It seems all this is getting weird...

......................

This journal always accompanied his father's days. Kay seemed to even be able to feel the presence of her father was still left here, even though only in the form of handwriting that she had always tried to imitate without even approaching the level of beauty. For a moment, Kay was dragged into the memories of chasing each other in her brain, which gradually provoked a sense of heat to appear in both her eyes..

"Kaaaayyy, Aboooo, what are you doing?!!"

The mental shout that filled his consciousness turned out to be able to bring a small smile on Kay's lips.

*Ehm, looks like he's not papa...

"Hey, Centil, come with me! It's dangerous!"

"Abo? Can you get out?"

"WHISPER! Follow me!"

"Kaaay, Abo is evil!!! Xoooooo*!!!"

But the young man just chuckled softly. He no longer has privacy now. It seems he has long accepted that his life will not be "normal" like other humans. As the quarrel between the two non-female entities grows more and more, Kay decides to start her journey. He threw himself onto one of the couch chairs in the living room and began opening the journal, hoping, hopefully, to find a way to break down this complexity eventually...
