17. Ghaib Farmer

Along the way Ranvier saw the farmers working on the garden. They looked enthusiastic at that time because they were harvesting massively. Ranvier smiled at the face of the farmers who sparkled imagining the benefits they would get later.

Various kinds of vegetables harvested by farmers are indeed seen piling up and ready to be transported using a pick up car.

Tomi who walked first seemed to wave with a smile to return the greetings of farmers who knew him.

" Yes thanks...!" tomi said loudly as the farmers offered him coffee.

" Only by himself, Tom...?" greet a man of Tomi's age while approaching.

The two of them shake hands while hugging each other.

" Same foster sister. It's there..," said Tomi while pointing at Ranvier.

The man named Bayu turned his head and smiled looking at Ranvier's tired face.

" Fatty yeah...?" greet Bayu while smiling towards Ranvier.

" Lotly Bang. Recognize I am Ranvier..," said Ranvier while shaking Bayu's hand.

" Greetings to Ranvier, call me Bayu. Take a break for a while. Copying used to be good, too, Vier. The uphill journey is quite tiring for outsiders," said Bayu while glancing at Tomi.

" Where is Vier?, want to rest first or want to go straight on...?" ask Tomi.

" Your house is still far away...?" ask Ranvier.

Ranvier received the glass containing coffee and squatted down to gulp it down slowly. Seeing her master sip coffee without awkwardly made Tomi smile happily. Tomi also received a glass containing coffee that Bayu offered to her.

Then they talked like old friends. Bayu admired Ranvier's supple demeanor. Previously Bayu was surprised to know Ranvier's age is still fifteen years and has just graduated Junior High School.

Ranvier seemed to shift to capture the moment of the harvest in front of him with his cellphone camera. Tomi and Bayu just smiled observing the action.

" It's young but I know how to speak well. Though usually city children like to forget manners..," Bayu said.

Then Tomi and Bayu start posing funny to make Ranvier laugh. After finishing capturing Tomi and Bayu's hilarious action, Ranvier also looked at the results of his shots earlier.

" I help you Bay," Tomi said as she placed her backpack on the grass.

" Can. Come on..," said Bayu with a smile.

" Where is Bang...?" ask Ranvier.

" Help lift vegetables to Vier's car. You are here, yes..," said Tomi.

Ranvier nodded then went back to capturing what he saw with his phone camera. The farmers seem to laugh knowing their activities are perpetuated by Ranvier. Even Ranvier occasionally intervenes to help mothers lift vegetables to the car.

" Dear boy, you're there. Your clothes will get dirty later" said one farmer, lifting a sack of cabbage to the car.

" Gapapa Ma'am. I like to do it.., '" said Ranvier quickly.

" It's up, but if your waist hurts don't protest" joked the farmer.

" Siaaapp..," said Ranvier with a laugh.

But like the words of the farmer, only a few times helped Ranvier already look exhausted. He also resigned because he could no longer help. Everyone laughed at his behavior.

Ranvier sat by his backpack and Tomi's. Then he looked back at the results of his shots. Ranvier smiled to see the results of his own shots.

But suddenly Ranvier frowned when he saw a farmer in the photo who looked foreign. Ranvier looked up and started counting the number of people there.

" Nineteen. Same I, Bang Tomi and the three drivers are twenty-four.", Ranvier muttered as he looked back at the photo of someone on his phone carefully.

Then Ranvier again observed the female farmers including their clothes and compared them to the shots.

" Pake yellow clothes, bamboo caping, green sheath cloth..," murmured Ranvier while circulating his gaze to look for a female figure with these characteristics.

Niente. That figure Ranvier did not meet there. Out of curiosity, Ranvier again captured images of farmers swarming near the three pick-up cars. Ranvier did it several times and rushed to see the results of his shots.

Ranvier rounded his eyes when he saw the figure he was looking for among the farmers he had just photographed with his cellphone camera.

There was a woman in yellow, green and bamboo clothes standing among the farmers who were huddling.

As Ranvier watched, the woman clearly stared at the camera as if she had deliberately shown herself to Ranvier. Moreover, the woman also seemed to smile at Ranvier. Although his smile is quite sweet but still makes Ranvier panic.

" The time of ghosts again..," Ranvier's mind riled up while rubbing his face with both palms.

A surprise clap Ranvier to make the teenager jumped from his seat. Tomi and Bayu laughed loudly at Ranvier's funny behavior.

" Time was patted so surprised Vier..," Bayu said in between his laughter.

" Shock it Bang. I was seriously thinking earlier..," said Ranvier.

" Think what...?" ask Tomi.

" I'm counting the number of people here again because it doesn't match the same in the photo. In reality there were twenty-four people, but in the photo there were even twenty-five people. Strange Bang..," said Ranvier as he grabbed his backpack.

Ranvier's words surprised Bayu and Tomi. The two of them were silent for a moment while staring at each other.

" We're going home now, Tom. Take Ranvier by the car, you know," said Bayu as he passed.

" Yes Bay. Come on, Vier, we'll take Bayu in the car just let him spit. The road is so pretty tired if you have to walk..," asked Tomi while holding Ranvier's hand.

Ranvier nodded then stepped in despite being suspicious of Tomi and Bayu's reaction earlier.
