27. Ranvier Go ?

Ranvier and Tomi's journey has not suffered any obstacles. They arrived safely at Soekarno Hatta airport at night. There they were greeted by Randu's grandfather's men who immediately brought them home.

" What the hell is Bang. Why did Grandpa suddenly tell me to come home...?" ask Ranvier.

" I'm sorry. I don't know either.." said the driver.

Ever since that fruitless talk Ranvier just stared out the window. It seems that the teenager is still upset because his pleasure is disturbed. " O God, what else is this...?" muttered Ranvier while staring at his surroundings with a puzzled look.

Ranvier was jolted when his hand accidentally touched the surface of the wall of the wooden box that felt rough and fibrous. Then Ranvier looked down where there was a dry haystack he was sitting on.

Ranvier turned his head when he heard the horse's neighing sound. He saw a man sitting behind him, waving a small whip in his hand at the horse in front of him. It was then Ranvier realized that he was on a delman-type vehicle whose passenger section was made of wood with the door closed with a curtain.

From his seat Ranvier could see out through the body of the horse controller. The atmosphere outside looked dark and silent. And Ranvier is convinced that the only illumination comes from the torch on the side of the delman.

" I'm sorry, where are we going sir. And whose father is this...?" asked Ranvier to vent.

There is no lawfulness. The thick-bodied man wearing only the vest seemed to be looking ahead while continuing to drive the vehicle in a direction.

Not desperate, Ranvier again tried to ask. But this time Ranvier shifted closer to the man. He patted the man on the shoulder to make the man surprised and then looked at him.

" I asked Where are we going and whose Father is this...?" ask Ranvier again.

Instead of answering, the thick-bodied man simply shook his head. Then he looked back to the front while flinging the whip towards the horse's back.

Shortly after, Delman stopped somewhere. Ranvier tried to peek and see if they were confronted by a group of strangely dressed people.

Strange as everyone was wearing black knee-length pants, with batik cloth on the outside. The top is wearing a colorful vest and the headband is also batik.

" Did he come with you...?!" ask a man loudly.

The thick-bodied man nodded then pointed at Ranvier.

Feeling useless if doing a match, Ranvier also according to him when two people approached and took his hand.

Ranvier came out of the delman and only realized that he was also wearing the same clothes as the men before him.

" Please young master..," said a man to Ranvier's right.

Ranvier nodded and stepped in the direction the man pointed to. In his mind Ranvier wonders what happened and where he is now.

Meanwhile Tomi and Totok are confused looking for Ranvier who suddenly went somewhere.

" Where is Tom, where is Mas Ranvier...?!" totok asked in panic after failing to find Ranvier.

" I don't know either, I'm the same as you. We are both out to check the car engine earlier..," said Tomi while circulating his gaze in all directions.

" It's quiet here, it's dark too. If Mas Ranvier wants to go, he goes where he goes. He may not be shoveling another car" Totok said as he stared at the passing cars.

At that time the car driven by Totok was pulled over on the side of the highway.

Previously Totok felt a little uncomfortable when driving a car. He intends to get out of the toll road and look for a workshop to check the condition of the car. But the intention of Totok urung implemented because the car suddenly broke down.

Then Totok came down to open the hood of the car. Shortly after, Tomi followed down to accompany him to check the condition of the engine.

After making sure the car engine is fine, Totok returned to the car and tried to start the car. After trying several times, the car engine came back to life to make Totok sigh in relief.

" It's Ok Tom...!" totok said as he pointed his thumb at Tomi.

" Yep...!" sahut Tomi while closing the hood of the open car.

Then Tomi stepped to the side and opened the car door. Inadvertently his eyes glanced at the back seat of the car and he was surprised when he did not find Ranvier there.

" Where is Ranvier...?" ask Tomi while staring at Totok.

" In the sit..," Totok's speech was interrupted as he turned his head and did not find Ranvier in the back seat.

" If it's there I'm not Tok." said Tomi while circulating his gaze.

" Other times to pee Tom..," Totok said as he looked out the window.

" It may not be Tok. Ranvier most do not like to pee carelessly..," said Tomi gusar.

Hearing Tomi's reply, Totok was shocked and rushed out of the car.

After looking for a while Tomi and Totok finally know that Ranvier is no longer with them.
