29. Hope the Best Happens

A man was crying alone in the waiting room of the hospital hallway. Kei kept crying over his second wife. Although he also received a lot of blows, he was much better than Neta who was bleeding.

Obviously the woman had bleeding. Because, previously the doctor had said if the content was still very vulnerable enough to experience a miscarriage. Then the arrival of Salma who just and unexpectedly kicked him with all his might, it certainly made Neta immediately collapsed with blood flowing between his thighs.

Actually, even though the situation can be said to be fine, the doctor still advised Kei to lie down in the nursery. But even the stubborn Kei rejected him, not wanting to miss a second of everything that happened to his wife. In her heart she kept praying that her future baby could still be saved.

But isn't it that easy to hope and pray? Not all human prayers are granted by the creator. There are times when the prayers are just floating in the sky waiting for the queue to get to the pronouncer.

Likewise, Kei's current state of hope and prayer has soared. But what happened was just the opposite. Neta was critical and doctors advised Kei to remain calm and pray for his wife to survive.

"Sorry for now you should be calm patient and also pray. The father's wife is in critical time. He lost a lot of blood and also after we did the examination he had a wound in the uterus because of a hit that was so hard and it was quite serious," the doctor said as he called Kei to speak directly in his room after examining Neta for the umpteenth time.

"Is my wife having a dock wound?" Ask Kei again who seems to not believe and want to clarify the purpose of the doctor's speech.

"Yes you can see this. This is the result of our examination, on the monitor looks very clear your wife's uterus has a deep wound due to a very hard hit. If you just fall or slip from a place that is not high enough, then the wound will not be like this. From this wound, I see the cause. If not because he fell from a high place, a fatal accident, or it could be because of a blow that was done deliberately and very hard," the doctor is responsible for Neta's current condition at the hospital.

The doctor showed me the results of the medical records and also some X-rays on Kei. Key became paler after seeing the medical record. It is clearly visible in the picture after a long time the doctor explained it does look like there is a tear from the inside.

"Will my wife still be able to get pregnant?" kei asked with a look of despair he himself was unsure of the answer he would hear.

Before delivering what doctors have known and learned over the years as an obstetrician. The doctor breathed deeply. As if, he was preparing himself to convey the worst that could happen.

"For now, don't think about getting pregnant. Think about the health of the mother. The fetus that your wife is carrying can no longer be maintained and we have cleaned it earlier. As for this wound we see the observation period in the next 6 hours. If the bleeding can stop then it's likely that the uterus can still be preserved."

It's not over the doctor explained Kei had snatched it first. He was already very impatient to listen to the worst possibility that could befall his second wife. "Then what's the worst possibility, Doc?"

"The worst possibility is that we will have surgery to remove the uterus. If the bleeding can not stop it will be very dangerous for the patient's life. Bleeding that can not stop it indicates that indeed the uterine tissue has been severely damaged and can no longer survive, to remain in your wife's body," aroused by the doctor who made Kei's cry even more broken.

"Then why until now my wife has not realized also doc?" asked Kei with her eyes wide and puffy.

"If it could have happened due to several factors. Maybe your wife is currently experiencing trauma or it could also be caused by the effects of drugs that we give," explained the doctor calmly.

"We will monitor it intensively in the next 6 hours during the observation period. Don't worry, we will do our best for your wife" the doctor said, patting Kei on the shoulder as if he was transferring strength and calmness to the man.

With mixed feelings Kei came out leaving the doctor's room. His body that is still not optimal was eventually uprooted. He fell unconscious in the hospital hallway after trying to be strong and tough.

2 Hours had already passed from that moment and at this moment Kei had already re-opened his eyes and how shocked he was when he opened his eyes it turned out that Grandma Fuji was already beside him. Kei did not explain anything at all he just cried and continued to cry regretting what had happened to the second wife. Grandma praise as much as possible to appease her only granddaughter.

"My son's candidate Nek, my son-in-law," Kei roared and lamented the departure of their future baby.

"Yes I know all the doctors explained it to me at length. Whatever the key is we have to take responsibility for Neta. If the worst happens until the doctor lifts the uterus, I hope you won't leave it" said Grandma Fuji, who went straight to the heart of the conversation without further ado.

After she heard what her grandmother said, Kei realized something. That, he had never previously told about the figure of Neta to other family members including the grandmother. Kei's cry came to a halt and he stared at his grandmother's bewildered.

"I never said I married her. Then why can grandma talk like that? Did grandma know?" Kei.

"We haven't had a chance to say anything yesterday" Kei said astonishedly.

"That's it, the most important thing now is that you're healthy first. To take care of Salma, let's just granny. Grandma used to say the same to you so many times. Don't marry a woman just because of her property. Look at it like this is his behavior." Grandma Fuji triggers her teeth.

Kei was silent, but in silence he kept thinking about the state of Neta. "How you are, may nothing bad happen to you. I feel guilty for all this Ta."
