40. A Heavy Day

Neta fell silent as she received the voice recording and written letter from her husband. Kei really divorced her. He does love Neta, thinking Neta is a different figure from Salma. But that doesn't mean he can keep his ego and let Neta be depressed.

"Please eat her breakfast, ma'am" Nindy told her pensive employer with a piece of paper in her hand.

"Yes Ma'am," Neta answered briefly. His eyes slackened. As if his life expectancy had been lost.

"What's wrong, ma'am? Not that I want a divorce and away from you, but why don't you look happy?" ask Nindy.

"Yes, I want to stay away. But it turns out it's also not an easy thing Ndy, I have to rearrange the heart. Even though he had fooled me all out, I still couldn't just hate him. She had her own reasons for her decision, even though I ended up being dragged and hurt." Neta sighed slowly.

"Hopefully he can be happy" Neta said in the end.

"Sir, for a week I want to go camping. I want to calm myself down."

"Only?" peeking Nindy at once she was very surprised. His job is to keep an eye on every Neta move. That is his mandatory duty. Now Neta asks him not to be close to her.

"What's wrong? You're shocked, it's normal. You can relax and not have to work. I also need privacy" Neta said with a faint smile.

"A .. ah, yes. Please then, Mom. Then I will also be allowed to go home as long as mother healing, is it okay?" ask Nindy.

"Can, please." Neta answered him quietly and smiled kindly.

Neta ate her breakfast without a sound. There was only the sound of spoons and plates clashing against each other. Silent and quiet, she was alone.

In the gray room, Neta lives together with Nindy who does not talk much either. After finishing with his task, Nindy will head to his room which is behind the villa that Neta occupies. Who would have thought if among the ranks of the rooms of the villa administrators, there was also Kei who inhabited one of his rooms for the sake of monitoring and being able to meet his wife.

"Have you given me the medicine?" kei asked Nindy in the back of their room.

"Already sir, mother was eating earlier." Nindy answered him casually. "Mr, why does it have to be such a stalker anyway? Why not meet in person and always have to wait for the mother to sleep soundly?"

"Hhh .. Do you know for yourself how he reacts every time he meets me? And I, I can't get away from him, Ndy, you know that. There was something special inside of him that made me always want to be around him, but because of yesterday's incident, he forced himself to stay away from me. I'm fine if it's for his mental health. I love him more. Splitting up now doesn't mean not getting together again someday, does it?"

Nindy nodded in understanding after hearing what her superior said. He could feel how much love Kei had for his wife. Oh no, rather the wife he had divorced.

"Then, what is his plan or desire today?" asked Kei who was so attentive to the wishes of his ex-wife.

"This is a recording of our conversation, sir," said Nindy, who provided a recording of their conversation.

Kei smiled listening to what Neta said as he admitted how hard it was to be apart and away from her. There was happiness in him. He was sure it was only a matter of time.

"Good, you know what you have to do, right? Disguise and keep following him. Make sure he's safe. My ex-father and mother-in-law were as bad of a brain as Salma. I didn't want anything bad to happen to Neta. Did he tell you where he was going to camp?" ask Kei.

"Just propose a place that is not too crowded and not too quiet so that you can still watch it well" Kei said giving his order.

"Em, fine." Nindy nodded.

Step by step, Kei arrived at the room where Neta had fallen asleep. As usual, without Neta realizing the disgrace came and hugged her and for an hour accompanied her, talking alone, pouring out everything she had experienced all day.

"Hhh .. You're good. Always look beautiful. At times like this, I feel like a ghost. I have to come in when you're unconscious" Kei said softly.

"I don't know until when all this will pass, until when, I can hold you secretly like this. Neta, I love you so much" Kei said softly.

Who would have thought what Kei said got a reply. Neta who usually sleeps unconsciously, this time delirious and crying. He looks so sad.

"Kei, I'm sorry. I love you," said Neta suddenly who made Kei shocked to death. Even the handsome man held his breath for a few seconds.

"Is he awake? Did he listen to what I said?" inner Keo fear. He is afraid of being caught and Neta is depressed again.

A man's heart beats when he hears a woman talking. Kei froze and did nothing. His breath was also restrained.

Until, he decided to see what happened. He peeked and saw Neta who was still asleep. Kei again breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Neta who was still asleep, only to be seen crying a little.

Slowly Kei wiped his tears and gave a kiss on the forehead of the woman he loved so much and managed to make him take a big decision. Decision and awareness of something that in this world is not only a treasure that must be maintained. But also calm and happiness.

"I thought you woke up, thank God you didn't wake up. You know honey, being able to be like this and holding you like this makes me so happy. I have always dreamed and hoped that someday we would be like this with our children" Kei said meaningfully.

"Sir, this is too much. My son-in-law dumped us here in this strange place without giving us any money. How can we go home when we are escorted this tight," said Risma's aunt, who was upset after being held back for several months in a haunted old house.
