040 - DEFEAT OF THE TRADERS' ASSOCIATION

"What the fuck!" Ravenna De Ville threw the sheet she received this morning in any direction.

His morning was broken after a servant told him about the news spread in the city.

The higher-ups of his mastermind association were slaughtered by ruthless slayers who had no heart.

Ravenna De Ville did not deny the news. It's just that he does not like if the news reaches the public and so the consumption of the community.

Ravenna De Ville considers the death a disgrace and wants to cover it up as much as possible, he does not want anyone to assume there will be a fall of a Ravenna De Ville from the mysterious death of the association's top brass.

A cruel serial killer?

Ravenna De Ville snorted, without having to find out she knew exactly who did it.

 He knew very well who had killed hundreds of his men in the past few years.

"Who else if not him!" hiss Ravenna De Ville angry. His sharp nails gripped his throne chair tightly.

"Gather all the troops tonight" Ravenna De Ville ordered on her personal assistant. "And find out where Rome is hiding!"

"Okay, Mr. Ravenna De Ville."

Ravenna doesn't want to stall around a lot of time. He wants to finish it all in the near future.

So, he ordered people to trace the whereabouts of Rome and her flock.

That young man couldn't possibly work alone, he definitely had an army. At least that's what's in Ravenna's head.

The next day Rome's whereabouts were still undiscovered.

Ravenna De Ville was furious with his subordinates who were judged not to be wise to look for someone.

"How come you can't find one person in this town, huh?!" ravenna De Ville.

"I'm-I'm sorry, sir, but the killer left no trace at all. We had trouble finding him. Daan can be sure the brand does not work alone. There are some higher-ups whose deaths are different."

"I don't care! All I want now is where Rome lives!" screeched Ravenna De Ville again, making her subordinates shrivel in fear on the spot.

Suddenly the door of the hall that was being used to gather the troops of Ravenna De Ville fell open.

 The personal servant Ravenna De Ville ran in in haste.

"Master! There's a letter for, you!"

"I don't want to read a letter from anyone! Throw it!" ravenna De Ville is angry, her feelings are bad at the moment and her personal assistant tells her to read a letter that she is out of nowhere.

"This letter is important, sir. You should read it."

"Who's letter?!"

"From Rome."

Hearing the reply from the personal assistant made Ravenna De Ville speechless and immediately snatched the letter violently.

The personal assistant was right, the letter was indeed from Rome, and inside was an address where the man lived.

"He gave me his address?" whispered Ravenna De Ville in disbelief.

"You going there?" ask the assistant.

Ravenna De Ville snorted again. "You think I'm stupid?! I'm sure this is just a trap! Rome must be hiding somewhere while she leads me here. He must know I'm gonna attack him."

"Then what are you going to do?"

Ravenna De Ville weighed in for a moment. "I'll follow the game. I'll take my troops there. While you keep investigating where he is."

"Good, Sir."

Ravenna De Ville kept her troops from directly attacking the Rome headquarters.

He did not want to be caught in the trap of the enemy. Ravenna De Ville was convinced that Rome was not really in the house, so he sent some people to check the address given by Rome.

A day later, Ravenna De Ville's man to watch the house came to report. His men reported that Rome did live there.

"What?! So, he didn't trick me?! That's really his home address?!" pekik Ravenna De Ville.

"Yes. Then what will you do now. Rome did live in that house, meaning this letter was an open challenge."

The personal assistant's remarks led Ravenna De Ville to rethink her strategy.

However, it seems that Roma prefer open combat. Then Ravenna De Ville will accept the challenge with pleasure.

"I'll take the challenge. Deploy the whole army, we'll storm tonight."

Meanwhile Rome awaits the arrival of Ravenna De Ville's troops with a cup of warm tea and a snack of biscuits.

Since yesterday he has been waiting on the front porch. Rome also knew about the spy Ravenna De Ville sent to watch over her house.

Rome had deliberately shown herself to make Ravenna unsuspecting and thought that the letter she sent was a trap.

"Actually since yesterday who are you waiting for?" leo asked when he saw Rome enjoying tea on the terrace.

Leo's cat just clucked softly, the cat then jumped on the table. "You have to take responsibility because my hands are sore after you told me to set a lot of traps."

Rome then went inside holding Leo on the shoulder.

Then, tell Milan to get ready immediately. Rome has set many traps outside and inside the house.

The Rome speech. Ravenna De Ville did not waste much time and sent his troops to storm the house of Rome.

One thing he did not know, Roma had set dozens of traps outside and inside his house. Then, when Ravenna De Ville's men set foot on the grounds of Rome's house, it bounced off with a bomb that exploded.

Ravenna De Ville's men fell into a Roman trap.

Including the chairman of the association who also participated in the attack. The head's body was burned by an explosion and died horribly.

That night, Rome, Milan, and Leo left the house engulfed in flames along with dozens of troops from Ravenna De Ville who died horribly.

"The emperor sets us up as fugitives." Tere threw a ball this morning at Rome.

"Then? What are we gonna do now? There is no way I can sleep on a tree after this" grumbled Milan.

They were hiding in the woods after the attack that night. Ravenna De Ville's army has lost. All the armies were wiped out by the Romans in one night.

"How, Rome?" push the cat Leo. "I don't want to stay here, the female in this place is terrible. Not like the ones in town."

"Milan, do you know of any places we can live?" ask Roma to Tere.

"I thought you planned everything because you set the inn on fire." Milan grunting.

Rome shrugged her shoulders lightly. "For the matter of residence you're the only one I can count on."

Milan clucked, "alright. We're going south. I have acquaintances there, who knows if we can stay in his garden or in his stable."

"What?! Horse stables?! Are you kidding me?! I don't want to sleep with that big creature!" pekik Leo did not accept.

But no one heard it. All agreed to go south with a directive from Milan. Leo was grumbling along the way.

Now that Rome has obtained the star Pisces ring, the ring with the water magic element should have tremendous power.

However, it seems Ravenna de Ville is not yet proficient at mastering it.
