Two Twins Separated

Two Twins Separated
1 | STRANGE DREAMS

Reva found herself in an empty room. Very dark. So empty. There was no one but him. But suddenly there was a glimmer of light that illuminated the room. Along with the arrival of the light, suddenly a girl surprised him. He saw the girl. His face is similar to her. Not only that, even his posture was also very similar. The girl walked over to him.

"Who are you?" reva asked while watching him. The girl smiled sweetly. Even that smile was exactly with Reva.

"Reva, don't you recognize me? I'm your twin" the girl replied gently. Reva frowned in surprise. He could not believe what the girl said.

"That's impossible. I was an only child. I have no brothers" he said. He looked back at the girl's face. There was sadness on the girl's face.

"You've really forgotten me?" the girl asked back. Reva's getting confused.

"But I never knew you. Who exactly are you? Why are you so much like me?" Reva asked back.

"There will come a time when your question will be answered. We'll meet later" replied the girl. Slowly he began to be swallowed up by the darkness.

"Wait, don't go yet! What do you mean? Please explain it to me!" shout Reva.

"I am your twin" replied the girl. Reva tries to reach for the girl but it's too late. The girl really disappeared.

"Don't go!" his yell. The darkness begins to dominate. Suddenly he woke up. Breathing gasps. His body was soaked by cold sweat. Seen around.

"It turned out to be just a dream," he said with a sigh. He was able to breathe with relief, but was still very curious about the dream.

"It's just a dream, but why do I feel like it's real?" ask him to yourself. He saw a wall clock showing 03:17. Then he tried to calm himself down and tried to sleep again.

On a clear morning, he woke up again. He immediately got ready to go to school. He saw a woman who was none other than his mother was washing cooking utensils.

"Good morning, ma'am," said Reva. He walked and sat on a chair.

"Good morning. Ah, my daughter is ready. Breakfast first" his mother replied.

"Mom, I want to tell you something about dreams. Last night I had a strange dream" said Reva, recalling the dream he had just had.

"What dream is that?" ask his mother while walking closer to him. He noticed Reva's face which looked confused.

"I dreamt of meeting a girl. His face, his voice, his posture were completely similar to mine. He said he was my twin" explained Reva while eating the dishes provided.

"Ah, it's just a dream. There's no need for you to think too much about it" said her mother, who still keeps a close eye on Reva.

"Yes. But I don't know why I feel like the dream is real. I'm so confused" Reva replied. The look on his mother's face changed. He remembered an incident he had never told Reva.

"Mother, why daydream?" ask Reva. He immediately regained his senses and smiled at his daughter.

"Ah, yes, I forgot," replied Reva half-screaming. He finished his meal and immediately went to school.

Doesn't stop there. Reva was still thinking about her dream.

"What did my dream mean last night? It feels like reality. But it is true also said mother. I don't have to think about it too much. It must be just a sleeping flower" Reva thought as she walked towards the school. He tried to forget that dream.

"Reva!" someone shouted from a distance. Reva immediately searched for the source of the sound. He looked to the right and left but found no one. He tried to look back. He saw a girl who was no stranger to him, Bella. The girl who has been his best friend since childhood.

"Oh, Bella. Good morning" he said with a smile. Bella walked up to him and smiled back.

"Good morning, Rev," replied Bella.

"Today you came quickly too. What's up?" ask Reva while walking.

"There's nothing. I just want to get to school faster. You picketed today anyway, right? I'll help you" replied Bella.

"Bella was so good to me. Thank ye. Oh right, there's something I want to ask you," said Reva.

"Ask me"

"Do you believe in a dream?" ask Reva.

"Eitherway. Sometimes I believe it, but sometimes I don't. It all depends on the dream that is experienced," replied Bella.

"How did that dream come about?" ask Reva again. He was really curious. Bella looks at him.

"You who are clever cannot answer, what else am I. But as I know, the dream could have happened because there was something you always thought about. In other words you're nervous about it. It could also be that the dream happened because you have a problem with someone else and you have not solved it. You think so much about it, that you finally dream about it. But all of that is not entirely true" explains Bella. Reva just nodded hearing Bella's explanation. Looking at her eyes, she was thinking about something.

"Why are you suddenly asking about dreams?" Bella asked back.

"There's nothing. I just want to know" he replied. Although Reva wanted to stop thinking about the meaning of her dream last night, but it was very difficult. He kept thinking about that strange dream.

"But, Bella, is it possible in the dream that there is an implied meaning?" Reva asked back.

"Maybe so. But most dreams are just sleep flowers that have no meaning" Bella replied. Reva nodded her head in order to understand Bella's explanation.

"Oh so"
