Two Twins Separated

Two Twins Separated
29 | SHE'S ALIVE

The next night, after that.

Reva opened her bedroom window, staring at the dense sky studded with thousands of stars.

"Tonight the stars were more, yes," he said.

His bedroom is empty. Suddenly his phone rang, breaking the silence.

"Hello?"

"Oh, hello. How are you doing now? Are you still feeling weak?" ask Vian.

Reva smiles. "Not at all. Like I said. I'm strong enough. I've been cured. Otherwise, I won't answer your phone."

Vian's laughter sounded. "so. But you still have to rest. You can't be too sick. If you're sick, you don't go to school. What if you don't go to school? Who am I gonna bother?"

The smile on Reva's face disappeared, changing with a sullen face. "So you just want to bother me? All right, I'll hang up."

"I was just kidding. You're so quick to get angry, you're 'period' huh?"

Reva grunting. "Don't talk too much. Of course not."

Vian laughed again. "Yes, yeah. I won't talk carelessly anymore. Oh yeah, Reva, there's actually something I want to ask you."

Reva frowned. "That means? What's?"

"Why did you faint? Just as soon as I got to class, I saw you lying on the floor."

Reva fell silent, thinking for a moment. "Cause I fainted? I don't remember it too much. Wait a minute, let me remember again."

"If you don't remember too much, yes, you don't have to force it" Vian said.

"I remember now. I saw Kevin's graduation photo before because it was so exciting. Suddenly I saw a face similar to mine in the picture. I can't believe it" Reva continued.

Vian nodded. "Oh, so. Then what made you faint?"

"I saw my face in the picture. That's right Kevin's Junior High graduation photo, right?"

"Of course" replied Vian. "Oh yeah, did you remember anything when you saw that photo?"

"none. It's just that I suddenly had a headache, then suddenly fainted. I think I just saw it wrong in the picture. No way, right, I'm in Kevin's Junior High's graduation photo?"

Vian berdehem's. "Yes, it doesn't make sense. He was a friend of Kevin's during Junior High, his name was Erva. Doesn't he look like you, like twins."

"Ah, yes. After I thought so too. There's been a lot of things I've been through. Starting from the dream, the bracelet that says my name, until the photo. It's like everything has something to do. I want to know more about that guy named Erva" Reva said.

"Said Kevin, he's a closed person. No one dared to approach him."

"But he looks a lot like me. Perhaps he is the one who appears in my dreams, my twin."

"Then, what do you want to do?" ask Vian.

"Y-Yeah, I'd love to meet that guy. I can't let it go on like this, I can have a headache" Reva replied. He held his head. "Now I have a headache."

"You better get back to rest, Reva."

"Don't you just call me?"

Reva. "No. It's not that."

"Tomorrow we can speak directly. Guaranteed to be longer, more satisfied, and clearer. Tonight you have to take a full rest, don't get sick. You got it, right?"

Reva hurriedly nodded. "Of course."

Next day at school.

Reva walks into the classroom, looking at Kevin standing in front of the window.

He patted Kevin on the shoulder, surprising him.

"Good morning, Kevin," said Reva with a smile.

"Oh, good morning. Today you came sooner than usual, huh?"

Reva nodded. "really. Today I am more excited. Instead of that, I want to ask you something. Can you answer that?"

Kevin raised his eyebrows. "What do you want to ask? Say."

"Simple. Who is Erva?" ask Reva.

Kevin fell silent. "The same question as Vian," he murmured. "Erva, huh? He was my friend at Junior High. Ah, no, not friends. Maybe more precisely acquaintances in class."

"Is her face so similar to mine that you've called me Erva?" ask Reva again.

Kevin gulped, staring down. "He looks like you, very similar. The first time I saw you, I thought he was you."

Reva's eyes widened. "Do you know where he is now?"

"Eitherway. Since graduating from Junior High, I have never met him again. What did you find out about him for?"

Reva. "I want to find out the truth. I want to prove whether he is my twin brother or not. I always have strange dreams, memories that sometimes pop into my head. It all has to do with that guy named Erva."

"Sorry, I can't give you more information. Like I said, he's a closed, quiet kid, even mysterious looking. I never saw him hanging out with anyone. Every day he just comes to class, sits down, shuts up."

"One more thing I want to ask" Reva said. He looked at Kevin seriously.

Kevin raised his eyebrows. "Ask me."

Reva took a deep breath. His pupils moved. "What... Is he still alive?"

Kevin was silent for a moment. He blinked his eyes quickly, staring at Reva for quite a while. "Sorry, Reva. I don't know. I didn't think about this before. Since graduating from Junior High I have not seen him again. I don't know where he is now. He's alive or not, I don't know either."

"I'm sorry for asking this. I just felt something stuck in my heart" said Reva.

"No problem."

"Follow your heart. Do you think he's alive?" ask Vian. He suddenly appeared, joining them.

"I feel like he's alive. Somehow I can conclude this. It's just, I don't know where he is. There's a lot I want to ask him" Reva replied.
