Victor Acted Like His Father

“E uh, where are you going?” Mbo Ratih held Agni who was carrying a suitcase out of their room.

“I can't stand this house!” Agni complained, but she did not want to be pitied again by Mbo Ratih, her decision was unanimous, she would not set foot in the house again.

“Why? You guys just spent time together, but why suddenly so like this anyway?” Mbo Ratih still wanted to know what was going on from Agni.

“No more reason I maintain our household!” Agni brushed off Mbo Ratih's hand. He walked again to the front door.

“Agni, if there is a problem, you can tell to Mbo!” Mbo Ratih is still trying to hold Agni.

“I was slapped by Victor, and I'm sure, this will keep repeating, for the full story please ask Victor!” Agni finally complained to Mbo Ratih.

Ratih saw Agni's cheeks, said Agni, her left cheek reddened, she was surprised because somehow she remembered again with her late father Victor who liked to play hands with his mother.

Mbo Ratih cried, Agni confused made it.

“Mbo, I have to go. Please take care of Abisetya and Abiwara yes!” Agni told Mbo Ratih, she wanted Mbo Ratih to take care of her twins and educate them wholeheartedly, because from today, Agni will not return to that house again.

“Why don't you take your kids, you can leave them?” Finally Mbo Ratih supports Agni's departure. He also did not want Agni to be treated harshly by Victor. He had to wait for Victor to repent again, no matter when, only God knew.

“I do not want to separate my children from their papa, let them get affection from their papa, I, I can look at them from a distance, so I beg Mbo to take care of them, let me look at them occasionally, outside, not here!” Agni sobbed, remembering she would not be able to kiss her two twins again.

Mbo does understand me the most, I'm not relieved of the responsibility of leaving them both here, only I want to teach Victor a lesson, forever I will consider him my husband, forever, forever, Mbo do not have to hesitate with it!” Agni assures Mbo Ratih, he knows, however bad Victor's nature is, Mbo Ratih will continue to be by his side, he will defend and be familiar with what Victor does, he said, for Victor's sake he would do anything, including following Agni's actions, which taught Victor to be more responsible.

“No need to hold, Mbo. He's an adult, he knows the consequences of everything he's done.” Suddenly Victor was already at their door, holding one of their children and looking cynically at Agni who was crying sobbed.

Mbo Ratih let go of Agni's hand, he let Agni leave them. He will not hold Agni, they already have a mutual agreement.

Agni walked with a broken heart out of the house. He kept praying for the best for the house, he still hoped something good would happen one day to the house and its contents.

After Agni's death, Mbo Ratih approached Victor.

“You haven't changed yet huh!” Mbo Ratih pointed at Victor.

“I don't want to hear your defense, you showed your papa's true nature to Agni, are you aware of what you've done to her?” Mbo Ratih reminded Victor that what he had done to Agni was the same as his father's behavior towards his mother first.

“Obviously different, papa is angry for no reason at mama, whereas I, I have a clear reason!” Victor defended himself, but he also felt awkward about what he was saying.

“Now you say different, later, you will realize yourself, if what you do is not much different from what your father did to your mother. I don't need to explain it to you right now, let you realize for yourself, because, no human being wants to be blamed especially after the mistake was made not too long ago, you took longer to realize it.” Mbo Ratih reminds Victor.

“No, he's wrong, too whiny!” Victor still blames Agni who has gone out of nowhere, but Victor knows where Agni is going.

“Most also to the house of Elisa!” Victor whispered to himself. “And me, no matter it!” Victor connected what was on his mind.

“Mbo, breakfast is there?” Victor raised his voice because Mbo Ratih had already left him.

“Please see for yourself!” Mbo Ratih is still upset. He did not look at Victor.

“Basic women, everything is crybaby. Always exaggerate trivial problems. Wonder!” Victor grumbled in his heart. He laughed bitterly, recalling Agni and Mbo Ratih's behavior as if conspiring to get away from him. The difference is, Mbo Ratih still lives in the big house.

Elisha was surprised to see Agni and her suitcase at his doorstep. He didn't know if Agni had come with a suitcase, he thought, if Agni had come just to visit for a while. He could guess that something was amiss between Agni and Victor again.

“Why again? Didn't you guys just honeymoon in Bali?” Elisha pulled Agni's suitcase, he saw Agni's dull face because of her dry tears.

“Can I come in first!” Agni did not want to be questioned while she was still outside.

“By, may, come in, do not stand directly there!” Elisha told Agni to come in.

“What is going on? Yok stories!” Elisha asked Agni who was now sitting on the edge of the bed.

“I calm down first ya!” Agni asked Elisha to rest for a while, his mind was in turmoil, he could not bear to leave Abisetya and Abiwara lived with his father who lived without heart.

“Where are your children?” Elisha still asked even though his question never got an answer from Agni.

Hearing that question Agni immediately hugged Elisha and cried in her arms. He did not want to tell her, and Elisha understood her.

“Sure Victor act again, this time you can't go back there!” Elisha whispered to himself, promising to refuse Agni's request to return with Victor. Before Agni told the story, she knew everything had happened, even though she was just second-guessing without knowing the exact details of what Agni had gone through while in Bali and in the house.
