Unmanned Love - Unmanned Love

Unmanned Love - Unmanned Love

For a month, Agni studied very vigorously at home, she reduced her activities outside the home.

“What is your mama doing?” Zora, Agni's mother went into Agni's room while Agni was again working on some of the problems given by Mr. Regar.

Agni did not answer Zora's question, she pretended to be engrossed with the matter in front of her. Though in her heart Agni misses Zora very much. It was rare for her mother to have time for her, until Agni was used to it, even if Zora was not around, she seemed to have been able to live without her affection.

“Seriously very, what else does it do?” Zora sat beside Agni, on the edge of Agni's soft bed.

Agni pretended to be serious, she smiled briefly at her mother and pretended to be serious again. Again he had to refrain from hugging his mother, he protested at her, he wanted to show that he could live without Zora.

“Say om Jono, Agni lately more and more often locked himself in the room. Never mind, occasionally playing outside, mingling with other friends!” Zora approached Agni, she looked at the paper Agni was observing. He knew Agni was upset with him.

“I'm sorry mom, there's never time for Agni!” Zora sat back on the orange-colored bed.

Agni still did not glance towards Zora.

Because of the loss, Zora finally stood up and moved from the room. He did not want to disturb Agni who was pretending to be busy. In addition, he was also very tired, wanting to fall down, a break from all his solid activities.

Agni heard the sound of the door closing. Then he stopped his activities, he laid his body on the bed. He regretted not reprimanding his mother when she greeted him and wanted to have a conversation with him.

Agni could not concentrate anymore on the problems given by Mr. Regar, she decided to just sleep.

“Next week, Agni join the math olympiad, mom can come?” Agni asks Zora at the dinner table before leaving for school.

“Next week, what day is nak?” Zora stopped returning her spoon on the plate, so she did not feed the piece of sausage she was about to put in her mouth. He wondered why Agni suddenly wanted to talk to him that morning.

“If being busy is okay, ma, forget it!” Agni was upset by the question, she was sure that Zora would have plenty of reasons not to come to see her at the maths Olympics.

“Agni..!”

“Nothing, ma, other people may need a mama more than just, after all just the doang olympics, kok!” cut Agni. Agni pretends to be tough. He wanted to protest but what came out of his mouth was submission, as if he knew that his mother would have a thousand reasons not to take the time for him. He really felt unconcerned inside this house. Having parents but like not having, hurts. “Better not to have parents at all,” bungtu Agni in heart.

Agni's language was very sharp piercing Zora's heart. He was eager to see Agni, accompanying her in important moments like this, but she also seemed to have no time, there would be a big event planned in advance in Bandung.

“Agni, if mama has time surely mama came, kok!” Zora tried to persuade Agni who seemed to have been upset.

“No ma, really, it's okay!” Agni looked at her mother, she was trying to show the seriousness of her words, but in her heart she was already very upset. He was confused by himself, why did he do so when he was already very upset.

But no matter how much Agni tries to convince Zora that she is okay, Zora knows what is in Agni's heart. As much as Agni's efforts cover up her feelings as easily as Zora captures what is in her heart.

Zora wanted to continue with her words, but she did not know what else to say, the more she gave an answer, she knew Agni would further cover her feelings, and would get even more upset, the more she would give an answer, he then chose silence.

“I say goodbye first ma, be careful on the road, want to leave again right today?!” Zora lifted her bag and left her mother, there was no salim that morning.

“Agni tell us the date and place are yes!” Zora slightly shouted to see Agni who had already turned her back.

“OK!” Agni shouted, without looking back.

Agni arrives at the school gate and tells Jono not to pick her up later. As usual, Jono just messed up the message. He did not want to ask any further why Agni would not be picked up.

Agni opens the car door and is about to get out, but she remembers something that will be conveyed to Jono.

“Oh, yes, om, don't ever tell mama about anything I did as long as mama's not home, om not entitled to spy on me behind, or om salaried for it?” Agni looked at Jono in earnest, she could not bear to actually say all that to Jono but she was carried away, her frustration was finally vented on Jono, a good om who always had time for her.

“Agni!” a familiar voice called out his name. Agni turned her head, she saw Elisha running towards the gate. He almost got hit by a motorbike if not suddenly braked.

“Street pack eyes, dong!” the driver shouted towards Elisha who had reached across the street just in front of the school gate, in front of Agni who was shocked to see the incident.

“Streeting, I ran away!” Elisha was a fool with the driver of the bike.

“Feeling innocent anyway, basic!” he grumbled, loud enough to hear Elisha.

“What base? I know in front of the school, again crowded, use speeding too, you are basic!” Elisha defended himself.

The driver was gas-stamped, he did not want to serve Elisha. He was afraid of being bullied, he might bonyok there if Elisha had provoked his friends to blame him.

Agni pulled the hand of Elisha who was still staring at the motor that was getting away.

“Lu is also wrong, do not look around first, be careful dong once again!” Agni advised her best friend.

“Lu best friend who the hell is he what gw?” Elisha did not accept Agni's words advising him, he felt cornered by the incident.

“It is precisely because you are friends gw dong, so gw nasehati, if he was my friend and he was here, surely he was also kok who I nasehati, if he was my best friend,” Agni glares at Elisha who is not to blame.

“Ah, you can-can aja!” Elisha walked into the school.

“Whatever, hopefully tomorrow-tomorrow does not happen again anyway!” Agni followed Elisha's footsteps.

“Sorry sir, I guess I can't follow the olympiad, just find another one!” Agni faces Mr. Regar.

“Loh, how is that? It's only a week away, why didn't you talk?” Mr. Regar club.

Agni was silent she did not want to convey the reason why she suddenly decided not to follow the Olympics.

“Soal-soal has been done right?” Mr. Regar still hopes Agni will represent the school.

“Already sir!” Agni replied, but did not address Mr. Regar.

“Good. Now, why would you suddenly resign?” Mr. Regar began to issue persuasive sentences even though Agni heard them like an intimidating question.

“Nothing, sir!” Agni still did not dare to look at Mr. Regar.

“Loh, there must be nothing dong, nothing happens for no reason, no terms are okay, if people put out the phrase, it must be because there is nothing, it is nothing, now tell the father, what's up?” Mr. Regar holds Agni's shoulder.

“Nothing, sir, really!” Agni still does not want to tell Mr. Regar.

“Agni, I know you must have a problem right? Story to dad! If there are things you want to say, tell your father, remember, you will always have time for you!” Mr. Regar persuaded Agni.

“And father is my parents!” Agni akhrinya.
