VENORA: Assassin and Psychopath

VENORA: Assassin and Psychopath
Extra Part

Granada was in his room. He sat at his study table in front of a window facing directly into the courtyard behind his house. Granada looked at the contents of the map in his hand. There were biodata as well as photos of middle-aged men in the paper. He read the entire map.

The sudden appearance of the head of the person in the window made Granada shout in shock and fall down from the chair.

It was not a ghost, but a neighbor. The woman waved her hand while smiling horribly.

Granada held his chest. It felt his heartbeat beating fast. There was a knock at the door.

Grumbling, Granada got up. "Looks like Leon was right, the villagers were more terrifying. I even forgot that I was an ex-assin because of the face that suddenly appeared."

Granada opened the door and saw the mothers smiling forced upon seeing his face.

"Young girl, why are you staying in your room? We're busy cooking for Eid Al-Fitr tomorrow."

"Yes, we came here to invite you to join us."

Granada smile. "But I don't celebrate Eid Al-Fitr."

"Hey, we don't celebrate either, but we help our neighbors who celebrate. We used to carry royongs when there were any major celebrations including Religious Feast."

"Oh, then, I'm sorry."

"Come on." They pulled Granada's hand and took her to an outdoor cookhouse where they made an impromptu large kitchen.

Seeing Granada's arrival with the mothers, the other mothers whispered.

"I'm sure he can't cook."

"What girls can do now."

"Yes, he would definitely scream while frying the fish."

However, their guess is wrong. Granada can cook well. He can do everything. Frying fish, cutting vegetables, stewing seasonings.

The mothers looked at each other.

Granada tasted his cooking then he had the mother beside him taste it. "Is this less salt or is it enough?"

The mother shook her hand. "I can't eat."

Granada. "Why?"

Another mother came over. "He's fasting. I'm the one who tasted it."

"Wuaha." The mothers who fasted looked curious.

After everything was done, Granada returned to her house grumbling and holding her waist. "Torture, they really colonized me."

In the evening, the sound of takbir echoed in the mosque not far from the homes of residents. They turned on the lights outside the house to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr Day.

Granada was still in his room and reading the contents of the map. For a moment he stopped his activities and then looked out the window in his room

It was seen that some people were flocking to the mosque while carrying food.

Granada seemed to think then he sat back down. There was a knock at the door. The girl opened it too. It turned out that the mothers were coming. They look neat with hijab, there are also those who do not wear hijab. They brought a lot of food for Granada. In addition to the food they had cooked, there were also cakes in jars and cans that they gave to Granada.

"Thank you for helping us cook. Here's a little food for you. Sorry to be born and inner."

Granada nodded to the son-in-law. "Thank you."

A few months later, Granada also helped decorate the Christmas tree. He seemed enthusiastic about putting Christmas balls on the evergreen tree. He installs in the lower part of the stalk.

"Sister." The little girl approached him and gave him a candy cane.

Granada accepted. The little girl ran shy. Granada smiled at the adorable behavior of the child.

Later that night, fireworks dotted the sky. Granada sees colorful lights glittering on Christmas trees and houses.

The kids sing and dance. Granada joins them as in the previous Feast of Holidays.

At that time, Granada felt warm when with them. The girl smiled a little.

Now I understand why people need friends in their lives. Although different, but they need each other, protect each other, and love each other. I feel like home.
