After feeling enough shopping, Granada approached the cashier who turned out to be a man. "These nights are shopping, Deck."
Granada nodded. "I need bread for breakfast tomorrow."
"Surely your mother doesn't cook?"
Granada did not immediately answer. She smiled a little. "My mom is working out of town."
"Oh, that? You're a good, independent boy." The man smiled as he stuffed Granada's groceries into a paper bag.
Granada did not answer.
The man gave me his change. "Be careful on the road. Dangerous a girl alone night."
Granada received his change and his grocery bag. "Thank you."
With a shaky step, Granada walked towards her apartment. Suddenly a man in a black jacket and a black hat came out from the alley. He walked into Granada. The man's hand came into contact with the back of Granada's hand.
After they passed each other, Granada felt his hand that had come into contact with the man was wet. He saw that there was fresh blood on the back of his hand. It wasn't his blood, it was the blood of the man just now, but it seemed that Granada didn't care and kept going.
For a moment Granada's gaze was fixed on the large trash can that had blood spots near the alley. He also did not care much and continued his steps towards the apartment. He entered the elevator. When he was about to press the button, suddenly the man entered the elevator.
Granada glanced at the man who was now standing beside her. The man did not press the button. Granada pressed the 26 button. The elevator door closed. The man pressed the 27 button.
Both are silent. Granada's gaze was fixed on the man's hand. There was no blood on his hands. It seems that man has already cleaned it up. Granada hugged her heavy grocery bag while looking ahead.
On the 26th floor, the elevator door opened. Granada exited the elevator. He stopped at the door of the house. Granada moves her hand and will type a number password to open the door of her house. He knew the man was still in the elevator and watched him. The girl refrained from pressing the button.
The man pressed the button. The elevator door closed. Granada looked at the elevator for a while then she went to her real home, because she was just standing in front of someone else's house. Granada scanned his fingerprints and then walked in.
He put his groceries on the kitchen counter then cleaned the blood on the back of his hand in the sink. Granada seemed to think.
Afterwards, Granada turned off all the lights and slept in her room. As his eyes were about to close, suddenly the sound of his house bell rang. Both of Granada's eyes were open again. He looked to be frowning his forehead.
Lazily, Granada got out of bed and turned on all the lights and looked through the door. The police came. He saw a wall clock that showed at 12 p.m. He also opened the door.
"Good night, Miss. Sorry to interrupt your time. Did you see anyone suspicious going through here? He was wearing a hat and dressed all in black" asked the policeman.
Granada was silent for a moment then shook his head. "I didn't see it."
"I saw the suspicious man through CCTV. He got on the elevator and stopped on the 27th floor and then he went down to the 26th floor and disappeared. Because I was worried that he had entered one of the houses on this floor, so I made sure to check all the houses" the police said. "Can I check your house?"
Granada nodded. He allowed the police to enter his house.
