The bird that they assumed to be the Thunder Phoenix was emitting flames from most of its body, yet it did not injure Dabakiras at all. That is, the Thunder Phoenix believed in Dabakiras. Obviously this was strange for Laura and the others. How could a Thunder Beast submit to Dabakiras who was part of an enemy that had destroyed his hometown?
