Another Surprise (Epilog Season 1)

“What's up, Aro? Why are we called?” ask Archie.

“I don't know why myself. My brother also went there, he came first,” said Aro.

Archie was becoming a little more tense now. But it was also quieter as he was not alone to go to the main office. They walked to the main office. Their steps look faster, even if they do not run.

Upon arrival, Aro immediately opened the main office door. The two saw Prichilla sitting in the guest chair with Kelvin, and there was also a man looking at the window.

“Excuse me,” said Archie.

Prichilla and Kelvin turned towards the two men. The older sister of Aro waved her right hand towards them, who was met with an awkward smile from Archie. Aro went straight into the room.

“What's up, Mr Kelvin?” ask Aro.

“Someone wants to talk to you both. But not me,” answered.

Then, Aro immediately circulated his gaze to a man who was turning his back to them all while looking at the window. The man immediately turned around. How surprised are they both.

“Pak... Zaoline?” ask Aro.

“Iya, I'm Zaoline. Congratulations on your victory, Aro,” replied Zaoline.

“Te... thank you, sir,” replied Aro while nodding his head.

The two of them were offered to sit on the sofa chair while chatting. A lot is said, but more is relaxed. While Archie's mouth was more locked from feeling their conversation, there was still a lot he didn't understand.

Geez, why can I talk to these big guys? So groggy like this, I haven't sampled their levels. Inner Archie, who had only smiled earlier when he heard them speak.

“Archie?” call Zaoline.

Aro stood up from the chair and bowed respectfully to the man.

“Old no see, Mr. Baron,” said Aro.

Whahuh? A baron? The baron that was Zaoline's teammate? Inner Archie.

“Wait first. This...what does it mean?” ask Archie.

Aro was actually also surprised when Archie said the word ‘ayah’ when the man entered the room. But, Aro had already read the situation. He exhaled again and looked at Kelvin, Zaoline, and her brother.

“So, Baron is Archie's father huh?” tanya Aro who replied nod by Zaoline.

“HAH?!” peekik Archie was still shocked.

“Lho? Dad, is.. Baron anyway? Did you play VEG?” ask Archie who is still astonished.

“It. If you're not a VEG player, how could you ask Kelvin to give you a qualifying test? Although I used to play here too, I'd love if you could compete because you are whose child, not because of your ability,” replied his father.

Archie's starting to understand everything.

Aro observed the conversation of Father and Son. They both feel very similar.

Baron never appeared in the media. During the name-calling for the Top 15 announcement of his era, he was represented only by Zaoline. Because he does not want to be recognized while in the real world, except by people he believes. So, it's only natural that Archie, his son, doesn't know about it. Because the Baron never told me.

Baron's name is just a username, his real name is Danny Eri.

Archie rounded his eyes wide, in surprise. His father looks young. Archie also recalled that when he was in Primary School, his father and mother delivered him to school, and many said that his father looked young. Archie is the son of an accident.

Suddenly Archie's funny thoughts popped into his head.

After they talked to each other, Aro and Archie walked out of the main office, and walked towards the field. Archie breathed out in relief. Aro only laughed when he saw it so.

Archie and Aro had a casual conversation, until at the end, there was an important statement conveyed by Aro.

“So, we're going to take part in a team match? Next year? Am I the operator?” archie asked in surprise when he heard Aro's statement, and Aro simply nodded with a smile.

The thing said by Aro was only natural to make Archie surprised, because Archie had not heard again the news of The Waves to follow a team match, but he was not, after heavy defeats in the Zaoline and Yellow Bunny eras eight years ago, and last year's team's failure of the qualifying rounds that ultimately led to the Group focusing more on individual matches. This time, The Waves will be taking part in a team match again.

It was chosen by Aro not without reason. Notional points from some members of The Waves have increased drastically. So, they should have been able to follow the team match.
