The training begins with shooting. All three Candidate participants this year already have the ability in terms of shootouts with the weapons they choose from the beginning enter as a team member.
Liam from the beginning entered as a member of The Waves chose softgun as his main weapon, but for last year's game, when in Grade B using two gadgets as his backup weapon. Ann chose to use the handgun every game because she thought it was easy to use.
While Archie, although he had never competed in high class, he already had the weapon he chose in the form of an arrow. Because as a child he had attended archery training at the city level despite being forced by his father, and eventually stopped because he preferred to enter The Waves.
Aro has prepared several digital viewfinder boards of different types in the middle of the field. He is also seen preparing various tanks and chairs that are not known for what they are used. Archie still chose some arrows to use. At that time he was next to Ann who was also choosing his weapon.
Remembering what Ann said earlier that her weapon used to have a lack of components, making Archie think what weapon Ann actually used last year. But he turned his mind around and refocused himself with the bow he had chosen.
The three participants were now standing in the middle of the field with Aro in front of them. The viewfinder looks pretty far out of range.
“For now, I'm asking you guys to shoot in that direction. No matter how much ammunition or arrows you use, everyone has to get to the viewfinder in front,”.
“Good, Brother,” replied the three of them.
They then fired a weapon at the viewfinder. The sound of gunshots rang out in succession, the sound of arrows piercing through the wind also graced the crowd behind The Waves field which was only filled by four people.
Two hours passed, the three men were still practicing shooting the digital viewfinder.
The digital board does leave a lot of marks, but because of the advanced technology, there is no ammunition or arrows stuck there. It's like being swallowed up in that viewfinder.
“Eh, out,” says Ann. The ammunition had started to run out and when Ann wanted to return to the ammunition filling, it turned out that there was Aro behind her, giving the same weapon as Ann chose with more contents.
“As I said earlier, prepare more than one weapon to make time efficient. That's also for yourself,” said Aro with his hoarse voice.
“Good, Brother, thank you. Sorry to trouble,” replied Ann while receiving the weapon given by Aro.
Ann fired her weapon back at the viewfinder that was far enough from her face. Liam had even changed the contents of the weapon many times. As for Archie, because the number of arrows he carried was quite a lot, he still did not run out of arrows. The three of them started to look exhausted even Archie's hands had started to look scuffed.
“Good everyone, take a break,” Aro said. The three of them lowered their weapons to rest their hands.
“Archie, take care of your hands. You've been hurt a lot here, how about later in VEG? It could be worse. Find out how to minimize the wound on your hand,” Aro's advice answered nod by Archie.
“Liam, you have seen enough to enjoy what you did earlier. Although now you look more patient, but your shot was not half that hit the center of the target board,” continued Aro.
The three people were surprised to hear that especially Liam who thought he was better, was still not good enough in shooting on the target board. Ann and Archie looked at each other, they also did not expect because Liam looked very focused during training. The four of them were silent at that moment, especially Liam who was slightly irritated.
Aro was seen patting Liam's shoulder as he said, “Try again. This is still the first exercise,” then leave those who are resting.
Liam exhaled slowly. The day had begun to look late in the afternoon, Liam was lying on the sidelines. Ann took some food and drinks to re-charge the three of them. Archie had already taken out some P3K equipment to heal the wound and bandaged it on his hand.

The three of them were in the middle of the field talking. Archie still did not expect to be able to talk to the people who count on The Waves. A few hours after they rested in the field, suddenly seen some people who lifted large tanks then laid across the target board that had been programmed to clean from the marks.
Looks like those people were told by Aro. The tanks looked unstable standing up. Maybe the tank was a long time ago. Seeing the tanks moving a little and also unstable when laid down, Ann remembered something.
“Balance exercises,” he said.
Liam and Archie turned towards Ann. Then Ann added, “Kak Aro had a balance exercise for a match two years ago. We're the other members just worried from afar because he's training himself.”
“Eh yes, it used to be fitting that I trained with Aro brother also had balance training. Not using a tank, but using a wheel that stands up,” replied Liam.
“Kakak stands on that wheel while shooting target board?” asked Archie who turned out to be replied by a nod by Liam.
“It looks like it will now be more challenging,” continued Liam while seeing those people set up some large tanks.
The three of them were currently back in the middle of the field. It was dark and the night had come. The four VEG candidates are still outside the building for training. Several other members of The Waves saw them from the windows of the central building.
“If you have become a candidate participant, surely tired of it because yes,” said Joyce.
“Clearly, his name is also struggling. Bring the name of self-esteem because,” replied Zack.

Aro restarted the training for the three of them. Archie's hands are better now, even with bandages. Liam and Ann already felt that they had enough energy after eating earlier.
“It seems you already know, what kind of training for now,” said Aro.
Aro smiled hearing that. It turned out that the person he had taught also still remembered what training he had ever used. In front of them were already huge tanks laid down, but it looked extremely unstable.
“You know the movie 3 Srikandi?” ask Aro.
Liam and Ann shook their heads, but Archie nodded. Aro smiled wryly, “It looks like only Archie knows. Looking at these tanks, what do you think?” ask Aro to Archie.
Archie thought what words he should say. Then he began to dare to answer that question.
“There is one scene, the characters are told to stand stably on the tank for archery practice,” Archie replied by trying not to divulge the entire contents of the film.
Archie guessed that they would be standing there.
“True, and indeed that is what we will do,” replied Aro.
Aro's three students looked at each other, Archie exhaled because he knew it wasn't easy. Just seeing the film he was already deg-degan, moreover he would do the same thing.
Ann's head was suddenly empty when she heard it. Liam who had done such a drill felt a bit panicked as he knew, the tanks were much thinner and more unstable than the wheels he had ever stepped on.
“Good, we'll just start. Day starts at night, I hope with your remaining energy, we can finish today's training well,” said Aro.
“Good, Brother,” replied the three of them.
Inevitably, the three of them took pains to stand on top of the large tank with the weapons they were wearing. Standing up stable is certainly not an easy thing. Ann fell many times from there, but tried again.
Liam was already starting to be able to stand stably while Archie, his entire body was shaking. But Archie still tried to stand stably on the tank.
“Now, start shooting those target boards!” Aro commands.
The gunshot was heard again. Ammunition thrown by Ann a lot of misses, Liam tried very hard until finally some shots hit the target board even though no one hit the center of the target board.
“Ann, be more careful. If you are like this inside VEG, your weapon ammunition can miss about yourself,” said Aro while shouting a little.
When the others had started shooting, Archie was still overwhelmed to stand stably on top of the tank. Aro sighed many times upon seeing it. Archie had a hard time standing steady.
The tank that Archie stepped on began to sway and move backwards to the back of the field which was the river.
“Lho you know? How's this? Uh ouch,” grumbled Archie. Suddenly…
BYURRRRR, Archie splashed into the river. “YA TUHAAANNN!” shouted Archie who appeared to the riverbank wet.
Liam and Ann immediately came down from the top of the tank, they and Aro started running towards him. Looked Archie who was grumbling annoyed. On the first day it was very tiring, soaked because it splashed too.
“Archie you gapapa?” ask Aro.
“Iya, Brother, I gapaphaaaa HATCHIM!” Archie sneezed from the cold.
“Pftttt.. HAHAHAHAHA,” Liam's laughter was heard clearly on the riverbank.
Ann held back her laughter, not unexpectedly Aro also wanted to laugh but he held back from feeling sorry for seeing Archie.
“Those people are laughing?” ask Archie.
“Partially why did you fall? Hahaha,” asked Liam who still could not hold back his laughter.
“Gatau tuh, the tank is difficult to be stepped on,” replied Archie with a frown.
“Yaudah yaudah, you brought no towels?” ask Aro.
“Bawa, Sis, but it's in the field decker bag,” replied Archie.
“Ann, please fetch yes,” Aro command.
“Iya, Brother,” and Ann headed to the field to pick up Archie's bag.
