Waiting and Feeling (Naruto X Hinata)
Chapter 2: Class C Mission.
The four of them entered Naruto's room shortly after Iruka's departure.
Hinata stands behind Sai. he intends to give Sai a chance to report first so that his friend who looks tired can immediately rest.
Unlike Sai and Hinata, Choji heads straight to Shikamaru's desk. Hinata is a bit of a mystery actually, as she knows the mission reported to Shikamaru is just a C-class mission.
Without realizing it, he kept looking at Chouji.
When the man pulled out 5 mission report scrolls.
As Shikamaru examined them one by one.
Hinata is deeply moved by Chouji's attitude. He is a Jounin but is willing to run 5 low-class missions at once without feeling low on his pride.
"Hinata."
Hinata did not hear the call from Naruto because she was still busy paying attention to Chouji.
"Hinata-san". Hinata tiptoed in shock as Sai shook his left shoulder.
"What's Sai-san"
Sai smiled as he tilted his head. Although Sai's final smile looks better, Hinata still feels a little horrified when she sees it with a fairly close distance.
"Hokage-sama called out to you."
Hinata immediately glanced at Naruto and instantly she became nervous to see Naruto looking at her with a smile. "Pardon Ss-me, Hokage-sama."
"It's okay, Hinata. Sai, you can rest now."
"Don'i..." Sai bowed his body for a while, then passed past Hinata without even greeting Ino who was standing behind them.
"When did you return from your mission Hinata?" Naruto asked as he opened the scroll he had just received from the girl.
"Last noon, Hokage-sama. But we have to go to the hospital first to deal with Akamaru and Shino-kun's injuries."
"They're hurt? Then how are you doing? You okay?"
Without Hinata being able to avoid it, her cheeks began to fill with a red hue. He looked down, embarrassed at the people in the room.
"Ooeee Naruto!. You should have asked Akamaru and Shino. Why ask Hinata's situation?"
"Whisper you Shikamaru. Without you telling me I would also ask them how they are. But what's wrong if I want to know Hinata's situation first. Who knows if he's hurt, too."
"Even so still, you should ask the obvious circumstances of Akamaru and Shino - obviously being in the hospital first. After that, just ask Hinata, Hokage-sama" replied Ino Ketus.
Naruto glanced at Ino, and he decided to give in after seeing the unfriendly look of the Yamanaka girl.
"A-ano. I only had a small wound, Hokage-sama. They are also fine. Akamaru has been allowed to go home while Shino-kun still has to be hospitalized. I-I will report soon that our team is ready to return."

Naruto examined the report and then said. "So you guys didn't manage to save Rinko-sama."
Rinko is the name of one of the daughters-in-law of Daimyo Negara HI.
A week ago the woman was kidnapped by the Shinobi Escape from Kumo Gakure.
"I'm sorry We. They really have no intention of threatening. Rinko-san seemed to have been killed just hours after being kidnapped. When we found him, his body was rotting."
Naruto breathed in deeply. There is a sense of pity to imagine that Rinko, who was only a few months into the Daimyo family, had to be killed because of his position in-laws.
"Ino, bring your report here" Shikamaru's words awakened Naruto from his instant reverie.
"I don't want to, I'll just report my mission directly to Hokage-sama."
Naruto again glanced at Ino who looked annoyed at him. he was very sure that Ino would be angry because of the class c mission he gave.
"Ino. Let's quickly finish your report to Shikamaru. Didn't you have a dinner appointment with Sai?"
"I don't want to, Chouji."
Chouji scowled for not succeeding in persuading his best friend.
"Now" Naruto handed the scroll that had not been fully covered to Hinata "Please give this to Shikamaru. He already knows what he has to do. Oh yes. You can also fill out the Mission Completion Form on Shikamaru to immediately cash out your pay."
"Dec." Hinata accepts the scroll and immediately moves to Shikamaru's desk.
"Alright, now I will listen to all your complaints, Miss Yamanaka." Naruto chuckled at Ino who was frowning.
Ino took out three scrolls from inside his bag then placed them one by one onto Naruto's desk.
Yes.he has been gone for 4 days from the village to complete 3 consecutive class c missions.
"I've done 2 missions like this. And I refuse to repeat it" he said before Naruto even opened the scroll.
"Did you find it difficult, Ino?"
Ino smiled cynically. Again he felt Naruto humbled himself.
"Why are you so underestimating my abilities, Hokage-sama?."
"Hey.I didn't mean that. I just want to know why you turned it down."
"You still asking?" his voice began to rise up "I trained for years. Lots of tough tests. I became a Jounin Elite not to do trivial business like this. Naruto, I know you're a fool. But can you control your stupidity? You've reached this point." His breath until he gasps - puffing with emotions.
"Ino-chan's chat.... Calm yourself."
"Shut up Chouji!. How could I possibly calm down to see this kind of chaos. I'm angry because I'm his best friend. Others may not be scolding her but they're making themselves talk behind the back."
"But Ino, after all Naruto is Hokage-sama."
Naruto restrained his smile seeing Chouji's innocence.
"Even if he's Hokage, if he's guilty, we'll have to reprimand him, right?. Besides why if I was mad at him, he was the only one who was a snot kid who could be angry at Tsunade-sama for refusing a class d mission ." Ino paused for the sake of connecting his breath that felt almost broken "Chouji, why do you keep defending Naruto? How many times have you done missions like this? Don't you feel angry at all?"
Shikamaru stopped his writing activities, smiling at Hinata who was just bowing her head. Shikamaru understood, Hinata felt uncomfortable being among the quarrels because she had never done this lowly mission at all.
"That's it. I actually like it." Chouji nodded while scratching his head.
Naruto finally couldn't hold back his laughter anymore. He really felt funny with Chouji's expression that Ino scolded.
"Chouji are you crazy?" Ino is getting angry.
"Once, how else. We are equally aware that the number of Genin in this village is getting smaller. If those Genin-Genins keep on doing stupid missions like this, their abilities won't develop, Ino. I think that until that happens, it feels even more depressing than the fact that I'm the one who has to do these missions."
They were silent to Chouji's words, Naruto did not expect Chouji to be that understanding to him.
"At the same time I was full of heavyweight fights. How many times has this life almost died, I can't even count it anymore. Class c missions seem to relax me a little too."
"Chouji-san.." muttered Hinata, she could not even say anything to describe how kind Chouji was.
"If it's a kitchen problem, well, I'm kind of lucky. At least the income from our inn could still make him smoke. But what I like the most, I don't have to stay with Karui. Since she was pregnant she was not only fierce but also very fussy. Wouldn't I rather go on a mission he..he.he.."
Shikamaru was devastated when he heard Chouji's words. Until Ino's anger began to fade.
His eyes were fixed on Chouji who was laughing. His best friend does have a really good heart, until - until he feels Karui is too lucky to get Chouji who is so sincere in love with him.
"Ino.., I'm sorry to you about this mission."
"No need." suddenly his eyes glazed. "I'm the one who should be apologizing here. I really don't think long."
"Huf... Never mind Ino, no more thought. You can rest now. Your report let me take care of it. You can come back tomorrow to take your pay."
"Alright, then I'll say goodbye."
"I'll take you, Ino. I'm done too" Chouji said.
"You be careful, thank you for completing the mission well." Naruto smiled at the two of them.
Until the two of them left the room, Naruto still did not take his eyes off the door.
Today Naruto feels like karma for his mischief to Tsunade. But as Chouji said, he could not allow the Genin to become untrained ninjas. I don't know when he'll keep doing this.
