Waiting and Feeling (Naruto X Hinata)
Chapter 4: Class D Mission

Hinata walked slowly. His footsteps felt so light. He smiled looking at the fresh apples neatly arranged in his basket.

Hinata intends to visit Aburame Shino this morning. He deliberately set off early in the morning - early in the morning because it arrived - suddenly felt lazy to imagine the heat of the afternoon in the summer.

Suddenly Hinata stopped her steps. He saw a slight commotion in front of the Hokage's office.

There are several Anbu, Village Elders and Daimyo Negara Hi. I don't know what they were fussing about, Hinata didn't pay much attention to it.

What he noticed was Naruto. The seventh Hokage stepped back slowly. As he made sure he was in the back row, Naruto grabbed his blond hair, revealing a frustrated face with body movements as if anxious, wanting to beat someone up.

Hinata smiled until her eyes narrowed.

Although time had long passed, despite the many things they had learned, even though they had become Hokage and Clan Leader. For Hinata, Naruto is Naruto. His laughter, his attitude, his kindness, all the things about Naruto still imprisoned Hinata's feelings.

"Guil-kun." Hinata said softly. Suddenly his smile was thinning. Reminds him of the bitterness he does not want.

"Actually, I really want to be able to keep seeing you like this."

Without realizing it, the grip of his hand on the apple basket was getting tighter.

Hinata continued to be silent while looking at Naruto. He did not forget his plan to visit Shino, but for now Hinata really wants to stay there.

Naruto scratched his head that was not itching. It was still early morning and his office had been moved by a small child who did not want to be left behind by his grandfather for a meeting with Naruto.

Naruto likes kids, really. But the little girl doesn't seem to fall under the criteria of the boy Naruto likes.

The son of a rich man who is arrogant, spoiled and of his own accord.

After only a few minutes of meeting and Naruto had already concluded such a thing, Shikamaru would have been angry if he found out.

Then his gaze fell on the two people who were at the end of the road, under the big, shady cherry trees.

Naruto winced. Why are Hinata and Shikamaru standing there?.

Naruto took a step. He held a smile as he looked at the red tinge on Hinata's cheeks. It seems that the girl did steal a glance so she became embarrassed before Naruto.

"Hey.. y'all!." Naruto Exclamation.

Hinata showed her surprise gesture and immediately looked back.

"Sh... Shi's... Shikamaru-san is?" Hinata is so embarrassed. Since when was Shikamaru behind him. Did the man know that he was looking at Naruto for a long time?.

"Hoee Shika, why are you just standing here? You haven't seen me hassles since ttebayou?"

Shikamaru. "Mendokusai...!?" then stepped past the 2 people in front of him.

Naruto and Hinata just kept quiet and stood there watching Shikamaru try to find a way out of the problem. Before long, Naruto was frowned upon seeing the boy was getting firmer crying while shaking - shake his grandfather's robe

"Naruto-kun, what's the matter?."

Naruto stopped his laughter slowly. He even had to wipe the corner of his watery eyes.

"That kid, Hinata. He did not want to be separated from his grandfather when we had to start a meeting immediately. You see that young man standing stiff next to him? The man is the new nanny. You see his face as flat as a board? " Naruto laughed again. "It's only natural that kid won't go with him, right? from his face alone he already looks boring."

Hinata's gaze, which had been watching the child, now turned to her nanny.

"Hinata, don't refuse anymore. The little girl was named Yui. Your job is to keep him until the afternoon. This is a mission for you, Hinata. Class D Mission."

Hinata breathed deeply. Finally he got the final Class D Mission - the end of this is much talked about. Though Hinata actually did not want to refuse, she was only worried that she could not control Yui's will considering that the child was used to being spoiled.

Naruto chuckles. He grabbed Hinata's fingers, pulling her forward. As the girl was already in front of him, he patted Hinata on the shoulder, giving her encouragement for the effort to begin.

Not too long ago, Naruto saw the little girl begin to calm down. Hinata even crouched down to equalize her height with the little girl.

Naruto smile. He rested his back on the wall of the fence and put both his hands in his pants pocket.

"Who can resist such a sweet smile, Hinata.

Naruto continued to notice how Hinata was trying to persuade the little girl. Naruto was unable to hear what they were talking about, but Naruto was relieved to see the girl receive an apple from Hinata and release her grip on the geezer's robe, until Hinata finally clasped her hand, he took a step towards Naruto.

"We'll leave now, Hokage-sama."

"Why should we say goodbye to this uncle anyway, Hinata nee-chan!". Yui, the name of the little girl. He nodded towards Naruto.

"Hoe... Yui-chan's!. You can't act like that dattebayo."

Yui is getting upset and throwing her face away.

"Hinata, what about Yoshimaru?"

Naruto questioned Yui's nanny whom he saw hiding on a tree branch.

"Well, about that, Yui-chan just wants to go alone with me, so Yoshimaru-san won't come." Hinata blinked her eyes many times. He hinted at the lie in his sentence.

Naruto smiled, feeling Hinata so cute with that face.

"You can go now Hinata. Be careful."

Hinata bowed her body to leave. But only two steps he stopped and turned to look at Naruto.

They looked at each other for a short time. Then Hinata grabbed an apple from her basket and gave it to Naruto.

"Arigatou, Hinata."

The girl simply smiled and resumed her steps before Yui again let out an annoyed scream.

"How can you always know when I don't have time to eat" he murmured as he watched the two girls move further away from him.
