Chapter 6: The News of the Match

"Hinata, how can you feel selfish?"

Hinata ends her gaze on the romantic couple, she turns to glance at Sakura who turns out to be still curious about the reason.

"Emmm... Suddenly I remembered Chouji-san. He is so kind, his heart is also very sincere. He's willing to accept a lot of C-class missions and work on them really. If I had to refuse this mission, it would feel so ashamed of myself."

"But class D missions are inferior to class C missions, Hinata."

"How about we go buy some cake."

"So that means like a family gathering?" ask Ino.

"Tlck..." Sasuke. "I can't have a goal that simple."

"What's wrong with family gatherings?" ask Sakura.

"Left Gakure is not safe. Traveling with a group out of the village just because of the arisan." Sai chuckled for a moment. "Of course I agree with Sasuke."

"Anoo..." Hinata paused, making them even more curious "There will be a matchmaking discourse in this meeting. So this meeting was indeed quite important for both Clans."

"Stupid? I-you mean a plan to get married?". Sakura asked in disbelief.

"That's it, Sakura-san."

"Who is Hinata? Did Hanabi? Whom is Hanabi getting married to?"

Hinata smiled wryly. Seeing Sakura's face mixed between sad and confused makes Hinata's heart even more sick.

"Of course it's my match, Sakura-san. I will marry the son of the leader of the Otsutsuki Clan."

"No...!" Sakura screeches. "It's impossible isn't it?. Hinata, you can't do something like this."

"Sakura-san's..." Again - again Hinata tried to smile, he was still trying to cover his heart even though all the adult humans who were there could not be tricked. They know Hinata is hurt.

"This marriage has good intentions and goals for the future of our Clan. After all, I'm also old enough to do it."

A single tear fell through Sakura's cheek, but the Uchiha woman seemed to ignore it.

"If you're married to someone else, then what about Naruto, Hinata?"

Hinata knew which direction Sakura's sentence was going. But he didn't want to be dragged in that direction.

"About 3 months ago, Otou-sama had already taken care of the permission of this meeting. So it is likely that Hokage-sama has also learned about this matchmaking."

Between him and me there was only a friendly relationship, never once did we cross that line. I think we've explained it a lot, haven't we?"

After Hinata's long speech, the conversation came to a halt. Leave a sense of disbelief with a different level - the difference between them.

Yui finally got up from her seat, making Hinata so grateful to be able to walk away from this uncomfortable atmosphere.

After thanking Ino, they were very happy. Go hand in hand with the smile that kept perched on Hinata's lips as it responded to the babble from Yui. A smile that became a mask of crying from his heart.
