WEARY

WEARY
Whose??

A month passed after the accident.

Bram had already gotten a lot of information about the girl from his friend, Aziz.

Aziz's workplace is indeed close to the girl's workplace, the girl he calls everyday, Rea.

What a very profitable coincidence for Bram.

Bram wanted to get to know Rea first, before deciding to make a big decision.

He did not want to go wrong, as this concerned his life's journey forward.

This afternoon, before returning home from work Bram will stop by first to buy flowers, because it has become a habit.

Every morning and evening he would take the time to meet Rea, just make sure it was okay.

"Excuse me, Ma'am. I want to find a fresh white rose. Is there a Ma'am?" Bram asked Rea.

"Wasn't it usually a red rose, Mas?" Rea asked with a somewhat confused look.

"It's very attentive, until the flowers that I often buy are just a pussy," Bram replied with a teasing smile.

Rea's face flushed red, perhaps from embarrassment or feeling he had been presumptuous to ask such questions to his customers.

"It just so happens that the white roses are gone. The shop is closing, too, my dear." Rea replied awkwardly, judging by his misbehavior.

"OK, Mommy. Tomorrow morning I will come again, keep the spirit yes. I'm always by your side when you need me." Smiling meaningfully, Bram passed by. Leaving Rea standing in her place.

I've been yelling at Bram's statement just now.

Bram has indeed approached through small things, such as joking, asking for news, or just encouraging remarks for Rea.

Either selling expensive, or indeed reluctant to approach, thought Bram.

In her monitoring for a month, Rea was a good girl, honest, independent, and did not have a lover, because as long as Bram saw no one had come to pick her up when she came home from work.

Again the opportunity came to me.

Today Marya's house looks different than usual, tensions are brewing there.

Bram, with his wishes and expectations. While his mother and his brothers with his ego and rejection.

"Bram, no matter how sincere your intentions are, I'll never agree! It's not fair to you, we can take responsibility by bearing the girl's living expenses, or we can also raise her to be a brother! Think again, son! What can you expect from a woman like that." Marya spoke with her clenched hands holding in anger, she still could not accept Bram's wish which she thought was very unreasonable.

"What Mom said is true, Bram. You can't sacrifice your future by marrying Rea. Not because you're still hurt because of Ayra, you made Rea an escape. This is wrong, please consider it again." Arsyad spoke calmly but was full of decisiveness.

"Buddy your mind, Bram. Saving what would destroy? Do you think love can come that easily?" Rashid said with a mocking smile.

Bram sighed, then knelt in front of his mother. He stared at the beautiful face of his mother, and grasped the hand that had been working hard to make his life better, the hand that always helped him when he fell, and the hand that always helped him when he fell, and a hand that is always able to calm through a gentle rub.

"I've never let Mom down, have I? Yes, Buk. My decision today I won't disappoint you either. Rea's a nice, honest girl, and I'm sure she can make me happy. I won't be able to live properly, if I continue to be haunted with guilt. Please bless Bram, Buk." Bram kissed Marya's hand, and there was great hope in her eyes.

Marya stood up, then she walked towards the glass window located on the right side of the central room. He threw his gaze out the window, looking at the flower plants that were blooming there.

"Convince your heart once more, Bram. Because I'm not sure your marriage will be okay, because you married her not out of love. And one more thing you need to consider, no matter how good she is, I'll never be able to consider her a daughter-in-law." His mother spoke to the sarcasm.

"Give me a year to prove to Mom that my choice is not wrong, Buk. And this wish of mine has nothing to do with Ayra at all." Bram spoke firmly, hoping his wish could be realized.

"Well, I can do what if you're this reckless. There was no engagement, and the wedding was attended only by the family, and most importantly the marriage was done in series. Get the wedding in three months, not now. We'll close this conversation." Then her mother left.

Bram tries to strengthen his heart to marry Rea. His approach for two is not this turned out not to be in vain. Implied doubt in her heart, was she able to love Rea with them continuing together?

Or vice versa, as her brother said, she will not save Rea but instead destroy him.
