What'S Happening Around Me
Midnight Noodles

I've always been lonely lately.

Both my parents were on a 5-day vacation to the island of the Gods of Bali, while my brother spent more time in boarding houses with his friends.

The school is also being released for two days due to the 12th grade being on a tryout.

So I just live alone with my maid in this house.

Mbok Mirna is his name, he has worked here since I was in elementary school. His body is not very tall and his body is quite full. He is not too old, maybe around 45 years old.

While walking towards the kitchen with a rumbling stomach, I thought about what I should do tomorrow?

Just staying home makes me very bored. Besides, I got enough pocket money until my parents came home from that vacation.

Maybe I'll go shopping tomorrow. I'll take Rena along, I haven't been shopping with her in a long time.

Since entering a different High School, Rena and I rarely go out together.

Upon entering the kitchen door, I saw my maid in the kitchen as well.

"Hungry, neng?" Ask.

I nodded while holding my stomach that was rumbling this.

"Yes, Mbok. Is there food in the kitchen?"

"It just so happens that mbok has made onion chicken noodles, monggo neng alone who ate." He said while thrusting a bowl of still-warm noodles into my hand.

"Well, thanks mbok. Sorry for calling the food mbok. Just make another new one, okay?"

Simbok smiled faintly and nodded. Then I turned towards my room with a bowl of warm noodle soup in hand.

While sitting at the study table, I turned on my phone which I had charged the battery earlier. An unreadable incoming message from Mbok Mirna appeared on the screen.

I curiously tapped on the message menu and read it.

Then after answering Father and Mother's questions, I returned to read the message from the symbol.

Mbok Mirna attached a photo as well, which showed Dewo, his son who was lying in a hospital bed with dengue fever.

"Poor Mbok Mirna has to stay overnight with her son." I said quietly while taking one mouthful of noodles from the bowl.

He looked very pale, hopefully he didn't catch his son or was too tired.

My hands stopped moving suddenly and looked at the bowl of noodle soup on my desk.

The bowl of noodles is empty.

I stood up from the chair and stepped away from my desk.

Still with the phone in hand, I pressed the dial button to the hp number Mbok Mirna.

"Yes, hello neng." Answer Mirna from the phone after ringing for a while.

"Mhd.. Mbok now again where's mbok?"

"Loh, you could have told me to stay in the hospital this morning. Did you forget? Just now the symbok also send another photo in the hospital room is neng." He said, "What's wrong? Do you need something or want to nitip something? Tomorrow morning let me bring you." Further.

"Oh, not really mbok. May Dewo heal quickly mbok."

"Yes, thank you very much for your prayer."

"Yes mbok, yaudah I closed the phone first. Assalamualaikum."

"Getishalight."

While staring at the screen of my now dead phone, I began to saturate while feeling the cold that gave you goosebumps.

"Who was that woman?"
