When the Inca became the Inca

When the Inca became the Inca
04

Inka instantly turned her surprised face flat upon hearing an unexpected question from Kanigara. He covered his nervousness with a knotty smile and ventured to look at Kanigara in a slightly haughty manner.

"Ehmmm, I don't feel like I've met you before. What a face I a little market ya, so Mr. Kanigara may meet someone similar to me!" reply Inca with a slightly cynical tone. Kanigara only smiled flatly upon hearing the Inca's reply which felt a little annoying in the man's ears. The Inca deliberately talked more often with Jordan and ignored the existence of a man who was actually still her husband if the Inca were not killed at that time. Jordan actually felt uncomfortable with the Inca attitude that felt different that afternoon, because as far as he knew himself a friend of Segara, his brother was a gentle woman and also very polite.

Jordan felt a dilemma and seemed to stand in the middle of the intersection because on the one hand he was happy to be able to chat with the Inca but on the other hand he also felt guilty to Kanigara because since then only he and The Inca dominated the conversation in the room. Kanigara with an unreadable face, still looks calm and looks enjoying a cup of tea in his hand as if not disturbed by the indifference shown by the brother of his best friend. Sellah, the secretary of the Inca also felt the difference in attitude shown by his superiors towards their guests. It was so they guessed what caused the Inca to ignore the existence of an extraordinarily handsome man with a very domineering aura like a Janu Kanigara.

Before long, Asher appeared and immediately hugged Kanigara familiarly. They exchanged news for a while, before Asher greeted Jordan in the same way. Inka felt relief when she saw the presence of her brother in that place, because since then the Inca began to feel tight after being in the same place for a long time with the man who was actually still very loved even though Kanigara had incised a deep wound in the depths of the Inca heart.

The Inca say goodbye after Asher looks at her, but the shit can not be refused because the brother instead invites himself to lunch with Kanigara and Jordan. The Inca had tried to reject the invitation of the older brother, but the man was too persistent that made the Inca surrender and follow the will of Asher.

Inka did not open her voice at all from departure until they arrived at the restaurant that had been reserved by Sellah before. Inka tried to be as minimal as possible to interact with Kanigara, even in fact he was eager to have a science disappear that he could use in a precarious situation like that.

"Ahhh, this is crab for you," said Asher who was about to put pieces of crab on a plate owned by Kanigara, but was immediately stopped by the Inca.

"Kani's a crab allergy, brother!" said the Inca unknowingly who made the three men in front of him surprised and looked suspiciously at the Inca. The Inca who realized the fatal mistake he made tried to rotate the brain to immediately fix the situation that felt very stressful at that time.

"Ehmm, I mean maybe Mr. Kani has a crab allergy, so you don't want to play around, that's what I mean!" said the Inca with a slight nervousness that made Kanigara squinted her eyes and looked at the Inca with a probing look. Asher also did not believe in the explanation of his sister but he chose not to extend the matter and waited for the right time to discuss it with the Inca.

The Inca kept cursing in her heart and squeezing her work pants because of the words that came out of her mouth earlier. He did not expect that he still remembered many things about the habits of Kanigara. He continued to curse his folly, which made the Inca not touch his food at all.

"Are you hungry?" ask Asher who saw the Inca just stirring up his food without interest. The Inca immediately gave an excuse that his stomach was sick and he was about to go out to find a toilet. The Inca walked towards the park behind the restaurant to breathe fresh air as Kanigara found it difficult to breathe. Flashes of events in the past, making him unable to calm down. Kanigara's past face continued to cross his mind, as did all the cold treatment of the husband that caused the Inca to always feel lonely.

Kanigara never considered the Inca to be a wife. He even often ignored the existence of the Inca, as if the Inca were only part of the goods in the Kanigara residence that had no meaning. The Inca felt that he was just a display that became a complement to sufferers in the Janu family residence. The Inca could vividly remember the nights where she could only hug herself while crying a mouthful in her dark room, while Kanigara left himself for weeks on the grounds of business trips abroad and never once gave it up. He always got information about Kanigara from his loyal servant named Riska.

He hit his head several times because he felt defeated by the circumstances. He did not expect his struggle to change his destiny so far, not strong enough to fight the bitter reality of the past that still grips him. Inka chose to rest her mind and body in the car because she felt the sedative effect had started to react on her which caused the Inca to suddenly feel sleepy.

Asher, who felt that the Inca had gone too long, finally took the initiative to find his sister's whereabouts because he felt that the Inca's attitude was very strange that day. Jordan offers to help Asher find his sister. Kanigara chose to stay indoors because he felt Asher did not need additional help just to find the Inca. Kanigara kept silent while thinking about something. He felt the Inca were hiding something from them, as he could see strange flashes in the girl's eyeballs whenever he saw her. Kanigara was curious about what the Inca tried to cover and she felt familiar with the girl apart from seeing the girl during an event in Bali a few years ago. Kanigara felt as if she knew Asher's sister, long before their meeting in Bali.

Kanigara did remember that when Inka was a child, he had seen the sister of his best friend when visiting Asher at his home. But Kanigara still felt that after they grew up, he had met the Inca. That day his memory seemed to refuse to cooperate because as hard as possible Kanigara tried to remember his past about the Inca, but no bright spots appeared in his mind.

Before long the Inca appeared and entered the room, he was surprised to see there was only Kanigara in that place.

"Sorry Mr. Kani, Brother Asher and Jordan where are you?" asked the Inca politely as he still remembered his manners well regardless of the cold tone that accompanied the question from the Inca.

"Yariin you! You sleep in the toilet?" said Kanigara flat that made the Inca frown because it was not happy with the tone of the man sitting a few meters away from him. He ignored Kanigara's words and chose to sit in his chair first and began to eat the food on his plate earlier.

Kanigara's phone rang. Inka tried to be calm and ignored the sweet smile that suddenly adorned Kanigara's face. Inka raised her eyebrows when she saw Kanigara's unusual demeanor. The man raised the call and stood not far from the seat occupied by the Inca. Inka snorted annoyedly because she did not want to hear Kanigara's conversation with the interlocutor at all.

"Hi, Leti. How are you? When to go back to Indo?" asked Kanigara who made the back of the Inca suddenly stiffen.

Leti? Leticia?! Suddenly, the Inca's breath gasped when he heard the name of the woman mentioned by Kanigara. The Inca tried to press his chest firmly. Next to his hand squeezed the tablecloth which made a clinking sound on the glass and plate that was slid on the table. Kanigara who heard the sound immediately turned towards the Inca who looked very pale with intermittent breathing. Kanigara came closer to the Inca.

"Why you?" kanigara asked as she decided on her call and tried to contact Asher. The Inca looked at Kanigara with a sad look that made Kanigara feel the strangeness inside her. A drop of clear water fell from the Inca's eye-pleaser, before everything looked dark to the girl.
