When the One I Love Betrays

Randy is now in his room, half an hour after he and Karina officially became lovers. Joseph came and brought them both umbrellas. Joseph is seen smiling looking at Karina who also returned Randy's hand to her.

After taking a shower and changing clothes, Randy was ready to go to bed. But he then, grabbed his cell phone that was on the table beside his bed and typed in a message that he then sent to Dave. The message was more or less like this.

'Thanks Dave, thanks for what you said this afternoon. Now that my relationship with Karina is getting closer, we have even officially become lovers. Thanks, brother!'

That's the message Randy sent Dave.

The Flashback

In the afternoon Shafa and Karina help Hasnah prepare dinner. Dave calls Randy, he says he found Vincent.

"Then what did you do to him, you broke his arms and legs, right?" randy asked who looked very angry.

"Hey, did you forget. My wife is pregnant. How could I break someone's leg and hand, make him battered I'm already flat-footed!" dave's on the other end of the phone.

"That's a tahayull Dave!" argue Randy.

"You're either tahayull or not, if my wife says it. I can't do anything about it. I can sleep outside my room later!" dave's exclaim again made Randy barely able to withstand his pangs.

"Don't laugh, if you're married. You will know how scared it is to part from the wife you love so much. Sorry, I forgot you widower!" said Dave who finally realized that his brother was more experienced than him.

The atmosphere was silent for a moment. But Randy could only sigh deeply. No one knows better than himself, what it's like to be separated from the person he cares about so much. No one knows how deep the pain is, other than himself.

"Dave, did you ask Sila. What can I do to get Karina to open up a little bit of her heart for me?" ask Randy.

"Sister, listen carefully. My wife says Karina is different from most other women, she's getting chased so she's getting away, feeling uncomfortable and choosing to stay away. Please say, Karina is a very touchable person, very easy to feel sorry and guilty. And said Sila, try to be honest with her about our bet at that time, and say sincerely that you did all that because of your love for her. "Jo, have you checked into his room? is Shafa okay. Or is his hand getting worse?" randy asked with a worried face.

"I knocked on the door, but she just said, if she's hungry she'll come down. He's gonna sleep all day!" joseph replied according to what Shafa had said earlier when Joseph took him to breakfast.

"I'm going upstairs!" said Karina who was worried about the state of Shafa.

Randy just nodded his head sign that he agreed with what Karina was going to do.

Meanwhile inside her room, Shafa was still hiding behind her blankets. Joseph's statement last night left him unable to sleep and feeling awkward when he met and was close to Joseph. Even last night, after Joseph said that Shafa would officially divorce then Joseph would pursue him, after Joseph said that Shafa was silent for a while, until then he let go of Joseph's embrace and ran into his room. Shafa could not even sleep because Joseph's words were constantly ringing in his ears.

Even this morning when Joseph knocked on his door and took him to breakfast. He felt like he was going to face a BP teacher at school. He really felt really awkward, so excited about meeting Joseph.

In a fit of annoyance Shafa even hit the mattress where he was lying.

Duk Duk Duk

When Shafa is upset and thinks about what happened to him. Karina knocks on Shafa's door.

Tok tok tok tok

"Shafa, can I come in?" asked Karina from outside the door.

Hearing Karina's voice, Shafa immediately took off his blanket and rushed down from the bed. Then Shafa opened the door of his room slowly.

"Sister Karina!" greet her slowly.

Karina smiled, and watched Shafa.

"Are you okay?" only Karina saw that there seemed to be eye bags under Shafa's eyes.

Shafa opened the door of his room wide, and the two of them sat on the edge of the bed next to each other.

"You can't sleep all night, why?" asked Karina softly.

Shafa was quite surprised, he was getting panicked.

"Well, how does Karina know?" Shafa asked nervously, but there was no way he could have seen all of that, when Shafa was with Joseph and not Karina was still with Randy in the front gazebo.

Karina smiled again then said while pointing towards Shafa's eyes.

"Look clearly, those eye bags under your eyes explain everything!" answer Karina.

Shafa let out a sigh of relief.

"Yes, I can't sleep. But don't worry about me, brother and sister Randy can go skiing with Joseph. I'm fine here. I'll take a nap, once I feel better I'll catch up with you!" shafa.

Because today's plan is indeed their plan for water skiing. And Shafa did not want others to delay him because of him.

"All right, but I'm gonna ask Randy to let Joseph stay and take care of you..."

Uncompleted Karina said what she wanted to say, Shafa instead waved her hand many times in front of Karina.

"No, brother, just tell the old man to come with you. I'm going to sleep, no need for guards!" he reasoned.

'My heart can continue to play drums if the old man is near me, then how can I sleep then!' inner Shafa.

"Sister Karina, I'm serious. I'm just gonna go to sleep. Don't worry about me!" shafa.

Karina also nodded in understanding.

"All right, but if you need anything. Call me right away!" karina and Shafa nodded quickly.
