Chapter 25 - The Howling of the Wolf

The sound of wolves at night and the full moon shone on them. They were asleep with Kath in the middle, Lucifer and Dexter next to him, while Rix was next to Dexter.

Dexter fell asleep in a cold sweat and clasped Kath's hands firmly, Kath woke up with a firm grasp. Kath turned towards Dexter who looked very pale.

"Dexter, Dexter." Call Kath over and over again. Dexter clasped Kath's hand.

The howling of the wolf on the full moon will not stop until the sun rises.

"Dexter, are you okay?" Kath asked a little worried about seeing Dexter's face getting pale.

"No" replied Lucifer.

"No?" Kath scrunched his forehead.

"His eyes are blind at full moon." Lucifer tried to explain.

"How come? But he told me his eyes were like this since he was born." Kath did not understand.

"No" replied Lucifer briefly.

"No?" Ask Kath who doesn't understand.

Kath tries to hold onto the cloth that closes Dexter's eyes but Dexter quickly reaches out to Kath and wakes up.

"Do I bother you? I'm sorry." Dexter said the first time he woke up.

"Are you okay?" Kath asked who saw Dexter's face still pale.

Dexter shakes his head, "I don't think so" Dexter said.

Kath hugged Dexter and rubbed Dexter's back to make him feel calmer. "I'm a little traumatized to hear the sound of wolves." Dexter.

"Trauma?" Kath asked confused.

On a beautiful day when Dexter was 500 years old, he was still very small. In the human world, Dexter is equivalent to a 4-year-old human.

"Dexter, come here." Call little Lucifer who sees Dexter staring at the plant.

"What's wrong?" Little Dexter asked innocently.

Dexter picked some flowers and walked towards Lucifer. "Your eyes are so beautiful" said one adult woman who walked towards them.

"I'm Dexter." Sapa Dexter politely and gave a rose to the woman.

"Lucifer, Dexter's sister." Said Lucifer who didn't want to lose to Dexter.

Rix walked over to Lucifer and Dexter, "I'm Rix, I'm their sister." Rix said with a sweet smile.

"Brothers?" The adult woman scrunched her forehead.

"Yes, one mother but different fathers." Dexter answered with a smile.

The woman seemed to understand Dexter's words she rubbed Dexter's head and pinched Dexter's small cheek. Dexter walks towards Lucifer, but accidentally falls on a tree branch.

"Be careful," The adult woman lifted Dexter who had fallen and cleaned Dexter's clothes that had been hit by the ground with her hands.

"Thank you" Dexter's sweet smile made the woman smile.

The woman walked back to them and let them play, "Today is sure to come" the mature woman said with a smile.

"It looks like there's going to be a storm" said Lucifer, staring up at the sky from the window.

Dexter looked at Lucifer, while Rix played the hay inside the hut.

Inside the hut they were in sounded the sound of sword incisions, sword hints and the relentless shouts of thousands of creatures and even millions that made the three little Kings a little afraid.

Wars continued to ensue from the fairy clan, werewolf clan, vampire clan and giant clan. There was often a difference of opinion between them and it was the day that the war took place. The greatest day of war in history. In fact, this war happened for more than 3 years.

"I'm getting tired of being here" Dexter said.

"But outside there is still war. We can't get out of here." Lucifer.

Three years was not too long for those Immortal Beings. They can survive without eating and drinking for 10 years or even more. It's nothing to them.

Today is the day that ends everything. Where all the clans are waiting for the victory of their respective clans. All of the immortal beings were getting more and more spirit plus the howling of wolves on the full moon this time which made the wolf clan feel its strength was increasing. This was extremely advantageous to the wolf clan.

"I am Dexter the son of a woman famous for her majesty. I won't stay silent." Dexter stood up and walked out of the old hut.

Lucifer and Rix try to hold Dexter back but Dexter leaves just like that. Lucifer and Rix continue to search for Dexter in the middle of the war but their views are stopped when they see Dexter at the center of the war.

There it appeared, the four clan leaders were expelling their strength. The Werewolf clan let out a very, very sharp claw beyond their usual claws. The Vampire Clan took out their sharp canine teeth and their cynical eyes. The famous Giant Clan with their extremely powerful strength was ready to attack at any time. Fairy clan with its famous magic power. They attacked each other and headed in one direction, towards Dexter.

Closer and nearer made Dexter unconsciously close his eyes, "DARE YOU GUYS," The voice of a woman made all the creatures in the war stand still and stare at the woman who was protecting Dexter.

"Y-mother?" Dexter stared at the woman who was protecting him from their attack.

"What are you doing here?" Asked the woman looking at Dexter cynically.

"I'm trying to stop the war" Dexter replied innocently.

"Stopped war? You're just blocking the war." The woman looked at Dexter with a look of dislike.

The clan leaders looked at the woman with a hint of fear, The famous woman is the most powerful in the immortal and the most feared creature in the entire clan.

"Because he has dared to stop the war, then for anyone who can get his two beautiful eyeballs then he is the winner of this war." The woman said without caring about Dexter's feelings.

Dexter looked at his mother with a feeling of disappointment, sadness and hatred. How could his own mother offer his eyes as a winner. The mother who had been amazed was very heartless. If his mother said that it was not only the four clans that would try to hunt him down but all the clans would pursue victory. It is victory that will make the clan respected.

"I swear to myself that no one will ever get my eyes together" Dexter looked at the woman in front of him with a mixed look.

The howling of the wolf sounded increasingly clear and endlessly, "How dare you." Said the Woman.

Dexter with his own strength hurt his eyes, the leader of the four clans, the woman Dexter called mother, Lucifer and Rix looked towards Dexter with a look of disbelief.

Lucifer at his speed immediately took Dexter out of there and went to the old hut. "How did this happen?" Lucifer did not believe it.

Dexter's very gentle nature turned completely different, "I don't want my eyes to be healed" Dexter said firmly.

"But you'll be forever unable to see." Rix tries to calm Dexter down.

"I don't want to see the cruelty in this world anymore." Dexter's words are hateful.

And the war ended when Dexter blinded his own eyes. There was no winner among every clan, they considered this war to be an endless war.
