Chapter 8 - Poison

Kath got Dexter. "Are you worried?" Ask Dexter who can still smile.

"Of course I'm worried, you're a good person and I already consider you my friend." Said Kath who kept trying to get Dexter.

"Just calm down, I can't die that easily." Dexter.

"B-but you saved me." Said Kath who was unaware her tears had fallen.

Kath's path came to a halt when he saw the Mongoose plant, the Mongoose Plant is a plant that can treat someone who is exposed to snake bites.

"Wait a minute." Kath wiped her tears and sat down Dexter.

'Have I gone too far? He seems very sad. This is nothing to me.' Inner Dexter who felt the sadness of Kath.

Kath plucked the Mongoose plant and mashed it with a stone to make it smooth. "It looks like it's gonna hurt a little bit." Kath said as she applied the plant to Dexter's bite-affected leg. Dexter only stays when polished.

A dove flies towards Kath and transforms into a human, Kath who sees him whistling to protect Dexter.

"Let's remember Kath, she's my acquaintance." Dexter said, Kath is back to treat Dexter.

"What's up, Bradley?" Dexter asked the pigeons.

"I smell your blood, sir, and your face looks very pale. When you were attacked by 10 tigers you were fine, sir. There's no way you can lose to a snake, sir. This is highly unlikely." Bradley said with a clip. Dexter signals Bradley to be quiet, but Bradley doesn't understand what he means.

"10 tigers? and is it okay? There's no way she can fight 10 tigers with this body" Kath said, in disbelief with Bradley.

"Yes, there's no way I can be okay. I won't be strong against 10 tigers. Looks like he's the wrong guy." Dexter lied to Kath and kept his fingers to get Bradley away.

Bradley who understood the sign resigned, "Master, I'm willing to resign." Bradley transformed himself into a dove and flew.

"Hey, how could you leave him in pain." Said Kath who saw Bradley flying away.

"Maybe he's busy." Lying Dexter.

There was a voice coming from Kath's stomach, "Hehe, I'm hungry. I'll find some food for us to eat today. You wait here." Kath said as she tore her shirt to wrap Dexter's leg in a snake bite.

"Well, I'll wait for you here." Dexter.

Kath stood up and walked into the forest, her eyes on a rabbit. He continued to chase the rabbit in front of him and prepared to take out a scratch quietly but surely Kath caught the rabbit.

"It finally can be." Kath was happy with her catch.

Kath walks back to meet Dexter, but Kath just twists and turns. "It looks like I'm lost, how this Dexter must have been waiting for me. I can't get lost." Said Kath who kept walking while holding a rabbit.

On the other hand, "Bradley come out, I know you're still there." Call Dexter. A dove flew towards him and turned into a human.

"Yes, sir. I want to tell you something, sir." Bradley bowed his body saluting.

"What's wrong?" Ask Dexter.

"Miss he wants to kill himself if he doesn't meet the master." Bradley.

"I don't care, I married her because she's almost like him. But its nature is very different." Dexter doesn't care.

"Tell him I'll see him in a few days." Dexter said while holding his head.

"Good, Sir." Bradley

"And never call me Master in front of the girl and assume I am a weak man in front of her. Do you understand?" Dexter's words are not out of thought with Bradley's behavior. Bradley was one of his confidants and a very loose man.

"Good, Sir. I will regard you as weak and will not call you master by the name of master." Bradley said with a plain face.

"Not you, but IN FRONT OF THE GIRL." Dexter's words were full of emphasis.

"understand, Master. Then I'll let you go back to the palace." Bradley turned into a dove.

"All right." Answer Dexter. Bradley flew away.

Dexter is not completely confused with the behavior of Yavanna, his wife. He married Yavanna for about 15 thousand years. He married her because she was betrothed by her father and she was very similar to that woman. The woman he loved so much. You must be asking how Dexter knows that he is very similar to the woman he loves. Kath has been gone for a long time but she hasn't come back. It makes Dexter worried that something might happen to Kath.

"I have to look for her" Dexter said, standing up and looking for Kath.

Actually Dexter was just pretending to be in pain for Kath to worry about him. Just because her eyes thought she was a weak person and had no strength at all. Dexter thought of the idea of feigning weakness to make Kath care about him.

Dexter continues to search for Kath through his sense of smell. "Where is he?" Ask Dexter worried. Dexter is constantly looking for Kath and following the scent of Kath. Decter's keen smell makes it easier to find Kath.

"Dexter," Call Kath who saw Dexter. Dexter pretended to be limping and walked towards him.

"Where have you been?" Ask Dexter worried.

"I'm lost." Kath holds the rabbit in her hand.

"You're just making me worry." Said Dexter who still looks worried face.

"Calm down, I'm a strong woman. No one could dare hurt me." Kath.

"It's good that if nothing happens to you, you make me happy." Dexter said worriedly.

"We eat it here. I'm so hungry I can't take it anymore." Kath said with her left hand holding her stomach and her right hand holding a rabbit.

"All right." Dexter.

Kath took some twigs and wood to make a bonfire, and then he burned the rabbit and distributed it to Dexter.

"Is it good?," asked Kath doubtful of her burning ability.

"Lumayan." Dexter smiled.

"Eat a lot if you like it." Kath smiled happily at Dexter's reply.

They also spent their food accompanied by the bright moon and stars that adorn the darkness of the night.
