Chapter 3 - Rix Eveitox?

'I found my new mate again, do I have to follow this smell or do I have to run so he doesn't find me? I'm afraid my mate will direct me again.' Kath's mind is confused.

Kath climbed on Alexo's back and walked towards his palace. Kath is terrified, if she learns that she is half vampire and half werewolf. And again Kath will be rejected by her mother, it's like a trauma for her.

'Why do so many mates reject me and I always find a new mate again? Why does this always happen to me? All immortal beings only gained one mate for the rest of their lives. But, why do I always get a king's mate. I will be rejected again and again. Why is it all happening to me? What wrong? Why is the world so cruel to me? Is it because I kill too much?' Inner Kath who, without realizing it, she shed her tears.

Arriving at the palace, Kath immediately ran to his room which followed Alexo. After entering her room, Kath sat by the window hugging her knees and accompanied by Alexo beside her. Kath wept for her miserable fate.

Kath continued to cry until she was tired and overslept. Without Kath realizing it, a crow followed him.

In the morning, Xalvaro continued to push through the door of Kath's room, Kath who was asleep was awakened by a loud bang .

"Why? I'm still sleepy." Kath said as she yawned and rubbed her eyes.

"I'm hungry. Is there no food here? Weren't you looking for food last night, where's the food?" Ask Xalvaro starving.

"Why are your eyes swollen? Did you just cry?" Xalvaro looks into Kath's puffy eyes.

"I brought you here, and gave you a place to live. And you asked me for food? and early in the morning you're knocking around the door just to ask for food? Basic guests don't know lucky." Kath slammed the door and walked to the bed to go back to sleep.

"And another one stopped asking endlessly." Kath screams loudly to be heard by Xalvaro.

"Basic grumpy, you can only nag" Jerit Xalvaro.

"For last night, I left my flesh." Kath said upset to remember last night's incident.

Kath lays her body flat and goes back to sleep.

Kath woke up when it was late afternoon. Suddenly Xalvaro appeared. "I have to help him, before it's too late." Said Kath in a hurry and immediately looked for Xalvaro.

Kath rushed to the woods to meet him. As a result, as Kath suspected when he met Xalvaro. Xalvaro was already lying lifeless.

"Pardon me. Because I told you to find your own food." Kath flat.

Crying out? Kath can't, Kath has seen more tragic deaths and more than this. Getting angry? Kath can only smile at fate.

This always happens when the material rejects it, they will end up very tragically and will die within 7 days.

Kath buried Xalvaro, placed a rose over Xalvaro's grave and walked away from his grave.

It's been 7 days since Xalvaro's departure and now Kath is alone again. Kath sits with a tree. After a while Kath re-smelled the very refreshing aroma of pine trees and grass that made her follow the scent.

A crow follows Kath wherever she goes, but Kath still doesn't realize it.

After following the scent. Kath meets a man who looks very handsome and dashing.

"Mate.."

"Huh? Meanin?" Kath asked confused.

"Are you really my material?" Said the man.

"Reject you for what?" He said while frowning.

"Color I'm sure you'd be scared of me." Kath pasrah.

"I? Scared you? In dreams. Look at your appearance like this. No one will like you." He denigrates Kath.

"What did you say?" Kath asked who was getting angry.

"Decil" One word only but makes Kath very emotional.

"You're so insolent. Which people are you from? I'll destroy your people." Kath was angry.

"You're a very brash mate. I only have one in this world. I am not made up of any people. I am the king of all demons. And I'm Rix Eveitox. You should have bowed to me. Not against me." Rix said firmly which made Kath goosebumps instantly.

"Why should I bow to you? I also have only one in this world." Kath who does not want to lose.

"Of course you have to submit to me you are my mother and all beings submit to me then you too must submit to me. What else are you a woman so you have to submit to me." Rix said not to give up.

"In your dreams. What is the proof that all beings submit to you?" Ask Kath growled

"Follow me to my kingdom. Then you will see all beings will submit to me." said Rix arrogantly.

"You think I'm a stupid woman. Of course they will bow down to you, you are their King surely they will all submit to you. How about you come with me I'll take you somewhere if they submit to you then I will grant 1 of your wishes. But, if no one bows down on you, then you will grant 1 of my requests. How agreed?" Kath challenged Rix.

"But I have to go back to my palace to finish some things." Rix.

'How could he not know me.' Inner Rix frowned.

"Again, I'll make you bow to me." Rix said boldly.

"Even I'm much older than you." Ketus.

"Poor? At most you're only 20 grand." Rix looked at Kath and smiled.

"How do you know? Are you a fortune teller?" Ask Kath curious.

"Of course I know, judging by your attitude." He answered while walking towards his palace.

"What age are you?" Ask Kath curious.

"I? Of course I'm older than you. I'm only 75 thousand years old." He said very casually.

Kath gawks, "that's what you just called? You are so old, should I call you om? just this time I met someone older than me." Kath was very surprised.

"Call me Rix, you don't have to bother calling me om. The lifespan of immortal beings can be up to hundreds of thousands of years. So I think my age is still quite reasonable." Said Rix who turned towards Kath who was not by his side and sighed strongly.

"What are you doing there?" Tanya Rix who saw Kath was in the grass and looked very concerned.

"Be quiet" said Kath and caught a snail.

"Based on a child" said Rix, shaking his head.

"This is for you, let's just say this is a gift for you" Kath said and gave the snail to Rix.
