Chapter 3 Goodbye Rain

A beautiful morning with bright sunshine. Giving new hope to a girl who is packing her important items. After Rain came home from his home, Summer immediately rushed to clean himself and clean up whatever items he would bring.

"Where should I go? Do I have to go and find a job in the city where I go to college? It must be easy for Rain to find me if I go there and see my college friends" Summer muttered.

Amidst the confusion the girl was determining her destination city, there was a sound knocking on the door from outside. Summer immediately went to open the door and it turned out that her cousin from the capital visited her home.

"Bang Radid, Sister Hanna, when are you coming?" ask Summer in shock. He immediately kissed the back of the hands of his cousin and his wife.

"It's been two days for you to go home, but just yesterday to your house, there was no one at home. How are you Summer? Why do your eyes look so hard? Are you having a problem?" tanya Radid, Summer's older cousin.

"Sit down, Bang! I'll make you a drink first," tell Summer.

Radid and Hanna look at each other and see Summer's face change. The couple just followed what Summer said. They were obediently sitting on the sofa without speaking anymore.

Not long after, Summer returned with a tray in her hand. He kept two cups of sweet tea and a snack for their friend to chat with. However, suddenly the nausea came when the smell of cigarettes Radid out of his pocket.

Summer immediately ran towards the bathroom. Making the couple again look at each other see different things in Summer. Radid immediately put the nicotine object back in and immediately approached Summer.

"Sir, are you okay?" radid asked by massaging his sister's nape. "Hanna, get me some eucalyptus oil!"

"Summer, where's the eucalyptus oil?" hanna asked, continuing to search in Summer's room. Until she accidentally saw a pregnancy test kit in Summer's nightstand drawer. Hanna immediately took it and gave it to Radid, along with the eucalyptus she had found.

"Daddy, are you pregnant?" tanya Radid continued to apply eucalyptus oil on Summer's neck area.

Summer closed her eyes for a moment. It feels useless if he lied to his cousin because he was sure that Ms. Hanna had seen the pregnancy test. He nodded his head in response to the two of them.

"If you're done with the vomit, you wait in front. We have to talk seriously" Radid said before he left Summer in the bathroom.

After Summer felt better, the girl met her cousin who was waiting in the living room. Radid looked intently at her, as Summer had just come into the room.

"How many months?" ask Radid in a flat tone.

"Five weeks, Bang."

"What are you going to do with your pregnancy. While you're not married. Is that Rain's son? Your boyfriend from High School era," asked Radid with a sharp look at his sister.

"Yes, Bang. I was wrong because I couldn't take care of myself. You can hate me or stay away from me, but you can never ask to abort my son. Because I'll never do it."

"Abang is actually very disappointed with you Summer. But the boy was innocent. Did you tell Rain about your pregnancy?"

"Why didn't you tell Rain?"

"Rain .. She's married to Yasmin."

"What's? And what about your son?"

"Bang, can I come with you to the city? If you're ashamed that I'm pregnant out of wedlock, I can find a rented house there."

"Summer, just stay with us. You do not need to find a rented house. Ma'am doesn't mind if you want to stay with us," said Hanna who was silent earlier.

She felt sorry for what happened to Summer's life. A girl who used to be very pampered and loved by her two people, now her life is turned upside down by one hundred and eighty degrees.

"Abang also doesn't mind you staying with Abang. But, why don't you tell Rain? Even though he was married, this child was still his son," asked Radid who did not understand the way his sister thought.

"Abang, Rain's dad never agreed I was in touch with his son. I don't want my son rejected by them. Just let them not know about the existence of this child, as long as my son never gets rejection from the environment and the people closest to him."

"You're always stubborn. Now quickly clean up your stuff. Brother wants to go back to the capital. Last time you stopped by here because as long as you came home you didn't see you."

"Bang, please don't tell anyone that I'm coming with you. Can Om and Auntie keep my secret?"

"You take it easy, Mama and Papa will definitely keep your departure a secret. Then lock your house so just leave it to Mama, so that someone cleans it.

"Yes, Bang! Thank you," said Summer.

"Stupid girl! If there's a problem, you should have told your family. Not trying to solve it yourself but you yourself don't have a solution." Radid ruffled Summer's hair. Casual, upset, and angry feelings mixed into one because of Summer's stupidity, who wanted to give everything to the man who was only her lover status.

Summer returns to tidy up her belongings, assisted by Hanna. While Radid chose to go to his house to discuss Summer's problems with his parents. She asks that her parents keep Summer's departure from anyone, especially Rain.

Once everything was ready, they immediately left for the capital. Summer accidentally sees Rain who is piggybacking on Yasmin, whether they want to go where. The girl only smiled wryly as she saw Yasmin's tiny hands coiling around Rain's stomach. He immediately hid himself when the vehicle they were riding in was stuck at a red light.

Good bye Rain! I will never regret giving it all to you. Because I know, you're the best man I've ever known. The man who always gives me warmth. Even though I won't be able to have you anymore, but I do have those wonderful memories with you.
