The night seemed so familiar conversing with the moon, recounting two human children who were silent with each other in an oncoming car.
No one wanted to make a sound, Yonna opened her car window slightly, letting the gust of night wind caress her smooth face. It seemed to dissolve in its own world.
Cars are increasingly speeding through the streets of the city that is still crowded through vehicles and people who move at night. The light of the lights flashing on the skyscrapers was like a star that was cheering seductively.
At a red light intersection, the car turns north and enters an elite home area inhabited by rich people. The distance between one house to another is quite far. Now the car turns again, not through the highway or alley, but enter the fence that stands tall and solidly covers the big house with two pillars.
“It's up!” Bara gently rubbed his wife's cheek, making the woman's daydream awake. Yonna turned her head but a second later turned her face back. He opened the car door, got off without a word.
“Mommy!” exclaimed Noah who ran from inside the house to greet, after hearing the roar of his parents' car.
Yonna caught the little body of her son laughing cheerfully and carried him into a sling. His son is not small anymore, his lean muscular body now starts to contain until he is a little overwhelmed to hold his son's weight which makes his shoulders sore.
“Honey, why come out Nak? Have you eaten yet? How not to sleep?” Yonna asked her son a variety of questions. Noah put on a puzzled expression of having to answer his Mommy question from where.
“Daddy's heroine here let Daddy alone the fat one ya! Poor Mommy is tired,” Bara said as she approached and took over her son's body from Yonna's sling. Noah spread his arms around the back of Bara's neck.
“Daddy and Mommy why go home at night?” ask Noah. He had forgotten to answer Yonna's question.
“Mommy's face is also why pale? Mommy's doing a lot, huh? If so Mommy does not just work, let Daddy who is looking for a lot of money!” those lips are long. His hands were raised into the air in a semicircle.
Yonna was stunned to hear her son's words, but a second later she laughed lightly while pinching her son's padlocked cheek fondly. His little son was so sensitive and attentive. His often curious nature sometimes makes Yonna overwhelmed to answer.
The three seemed so happy, like a small family in general. So perfect was the envy of the eyes of anyone who looked at the free laughter of the three. Like a pair of eyes staring from the balcony with a heart filled with jealousy and hasad.
There is a sense of unwillingness towards something that he so desires, but belongs to someone else. His soul was turbulent his heart was bubbling on fire hotly seeing the roar of their laughter from the top floor. Both of his hands were clenched on the balcony railing tightly until his handbooks turned white.
The embers of hatred that without realizing it will eventually melt itself in the abyss of destruction.
The corner of Bara's eyes caught a sharp looking figure from upstairs, the corner of Bara's lips lifted. He did not tell his wife but instead embraced his wife to enter with the son in his carrying.
Arriving in the living room, Noah asked to come down. The boy ran into Jelita's arms and then wrestled spoiled in the hands of his Grandma with Kevin who did not want to lose. Noah's face was so carefree.
While Gisella who was sitting not far from her in-laws was looking at Yonna with a hostile gaze.
“Basic of rotten women! I have a husband but still tease my husband! Just watch out for you, because you me and Gavin are fighting. I'll make the calculation with you later!” ruby Gisella in the heart. He cursed the Yonna who was standing relaxed with her tired face.
“You two just got home, have you eaten?” jelita asked attentively to the eldest son and daughter-in-law.
“Already, Ma. I'll go to the room first yes, Ma!” pamit Yonna's. His body still feels tired, he wants to lie back on the bed to rest his body that is not because it feels.
The understanding Jelita nodded, letting Bara go with his wife to the room to rest. While he again enjoys being a struggle between two grandchildren who want to indulge with him. A sense of happiness that Jelita can not describe and very much he expected at the age that has aged.
“You rest first, I want to go out for a bit to breathe the wind. I'm not sleepy yet,” Bara told Yonna after they entered the room.
Yonna just nodded, she opened the wardrobe to pick up the pajamas she was going to wear.
“Where did it go?” mummy Bara wonder. The tall man turned down the balcony terrace that connected the side to the back. Looking elsewhere, it felt impossible to go too far. A shadow she saw near the pool under a shady tree.
Bara squinted his eyes, aware that the person standing with smoke billowing from his lips was the person he was looking for. Bara directly chose to go down through the stairs next to where he found his wife this morning.
“What are you looking for me?” asked Gavin without looking. His eyes stared at the pool water so calm under the moonlight, so bright with a sprinkling of stars that formed a series of clusters.
The nicotine smoke drifted back to form a faint white circle in the darkness of the night until it disappeared into the air.
“It's been a long time since we talked together as brothers,” Bara replied with her flat face.
Gavin chuckled while looking. “I even forgot if we are brothers. I see your serious face has changed a lot, not as hard as before. Getting married changes you a lot huh" Gavin said.
Gavin dropped the cigarette from his lips, which were about a third in length. Then he stepped firmly with his foot.
“That's how, I found someone so fit to be my life companion. As I wish and also my heart.” Bara switched on a park bench arranged not far from the pool.
While Gavin was following him from behind, the two of them sat face to face with an aura of tension that was so obvious. Every word that comes out of the mouth is both a condition of meaning.
“Wah .. so lucky my brother! I became envious of your happiness, to the point that I wanted to try to be in your position! It would be perfect!” Gavin let out his demonic smile, provoking what reaction Bara would have to do to him.
Bara advancing her back revealed a gaze right at both of Gavin's black beads. So sharp and intimidating, like a lion who starts to be alert when a new contingent approaches.
“And do you think I would let you take my wife so perfectly? It will never! I won't let anyone take my place until anytime!” bara said firmly.
“Again ...,” Bara paused his speech. Even a smile was on his lips. Feeling so mocking Gavin, both of Gavin's hands clenched on the table.
“Didn't you first be in that position, then you just ignored it. So never expect to get back the gems you threw away for free, Gavin.”
“What do you mean by saying I was in that position first? What does it mean that I was Yonna's husband first?” Gavin sharpened his eyes to hear Bara's words that felt stuck in his heart. When did he become Yonna's husband?
Before long, Gavin's confused face changed. Gavin's eyes instantly widened perfectly after getting an answer to the question that had just been present in his head. It was as if a large stone had slammed his heart and head into pieces.
Gavin arranges every sentence Yonna says to her, about the woman's relationship with her ex-husband in the past. About her suspicions this morning over the attitude of Yonna who knew the way out to the garage. It was as if she had lived in that house for a long time. Everything was gathered into pieces of parzel in his brain at this moment.
“Are you unconscious all this time? Doesn't her face make you familiar in the least?” Bara again smiled mockingly looking at the surprised expression Gavin showed.
“I don't care what has happened between you in the past, but this second and in the future. She is my wife, Mommy of my children! So I hope take care of your attitude and never disturb him or you will deal with me!” bara said full of emphasis in every word. The aura he gave off was terrifying.
Bara realizes Gavin's desire and the man's attraction is so strong at the moment. He was at the point of keeping what belonged to him. Hitting Gavin's consciousness to make him realize that he has no chance to get close to his wife.
Bara got up from his seat and walked up to Gavin. “You know I never play around with my words, Gavin. So keep a close eye on what I'm saying,” Bara said as he patted Gavin's shoulder slowly, before he left Gavin in his misfortune.
"Yonna is Alice? Where possible? They both looked like two different people!" lirih Gavin still can't believe it.
