A car drove across the crowded street in the scorching afternoon. Rahul and Rahil who just met now are like a group of lambe mothers who come with the latest news. From meeting at the airport to being in the car at this time, they have not stopped telling stories.
Unlike their twin sisters who have been more silent since then, I don't know what he thinks. But as a friend, Khadijah who sat beside Rabiah at this time could feel that something was wrong from his best friend.
"Biah, what's wrong with you?"
Rabiah who had been staring blankly out the window turned to Khadijah.
"I don't know, my heart isn't comfortable, either,"
"Couldn't you? Since when?"
"Oh, I'm confused."
Rabiah could not deny that his heart began to feel uneasy after seeing a woman approaching Ameer at the airport. The various questions surrounding the woman to the relationship between Ameer and the woman seemed to be swirling in his mind. However, his mind rejects all these feelings, he argues that his feelings for Ameer no longer exist because he had been married and loved Kamil before.
The dispute between Rabiah's heart and mind ultimately made him feel uneasy uncertain.
"We stopped at his restaurant uncle Wildan well, I laper," Rahul suggested.
"Okay bro, I happen to miss the food there," said Rahil.
"Khadijah, we'll stop by to eat well, will you?" asked Rahul gently.
"By my brother" replied Khadijah smiling in embarrassment.
"The marriage is still called name, paggil ayang kek, darling cake, honey cake," said Rahil.
"Huss, who is single, later if you have a new wife who practices," continued Rahul, making Rahil grunt.
Not noticeably, their car has now arrived at restaurant X. They walked together, entering the restaurant.
"Assalamu 'alaikum," said Ameer who happened to cross paths with Rahul and Rahil when he had just finished talking to his father about the intention of Niana's arrival.
"Wa'alaikum salam, uh bang Ameer is here too" Rahil said.
"Yes, I happen to be doing research here, oh yeah, you guys want lunch, right? Well, all of us eat together there, I'm the treat," said Ameer, pointing to a long table in the corner of the room near the window, and there were already seated Jhony and Niana.
"Well, thank you very much, my brother, with pleasure" Rahul said.
They are now approaching the table, while Rabiah who has been silent since then is now back to see the woman who was at the airport with Ameer. And he realized that there was currently another man accompanying the woman other than Ameer.
"It turns out that Brother Ameer is not alone with this older sister," Rabiah's mind was relieved.
While waiting for the special meal of Ameer's order to come, they chatted with each other.
"Jhon, the tukeran was yuk" Niana told Jhony, who was sitting next to Ameer.
"Why indeed?"
"I'd like to talk to Ameer for a minute,"
"Oh yes already." Jhony now moved from his seat and exchanged places with Niana.
Niana is now sitting right next to Ameer, taking out a piece of paper.
"Ameer, ..........." Niana began to ask Ameer's consideration of some examples of questions that he would ask later to Wildan as the owner of the restaurant.
Ameer was quite uncomfortable because of the distance that was quite close to Niana, but he still had to explain and give his input to Niana, although when speaking, Ameer never looked at Niana.
Rabiah certainly saw the scene that was right in front of him, for some reason his heart felt hot and uncomfortable.
While Ameer who had been down immediately raised his face to see the look of Rabiah's slightly tangled face.
Now Rabiah was in front of a mirror in the toilet, he stared fixedly at his face which was clearly displayed in the mirror.
"What's wrong with me? Why do I feel uncomfortable like this? Didn't I let go of my feelings for her yesterday? Then why now is that feeling like it's reappearing?" batin Rabiah asked himself.
For quite a while he stayed in front of the mirror while covering his face with both palms.
Slowly Rabiah let go of the hands that covered his face and took a breath, and exhaled slowly, "calm down Biah, calm down" he murmured as he grabbed his small bag and straight out of the toilet.
"Biah," called a man from behind, making Rabiah look straight at him.
"Mas Kamil," he was surprised.
"Biah, how are you?" ask Kamil while walking closer to Rabiah.
"Well, what's wrong?" ask Rabiah without further ado.
"Do you have to make excuses first when you want to meet you?" ask Kamil.
"Yes, because we have no business anymore" replied Rabiah.
"But Biah, I miss you so much, it's been a long time since I've wanted to see you but it's been so hard, and finally by chance we met here."
Rabiah shook for a moment, "if nothing is so important I want to go back," Rabiah said, then he was about to step but stopped when Kamil held his wrist.
"Mas let go of me, we are not mahram anymore," Rabiah said to pull his hand but the grip of Kamil's hand was strong.
"No Biah, however mas still entitled to you, so do not leave the mas first, mas want to talk to you,"
"What else do you want to talk about?" tanya Rabiah is still trying to take his hand off Kamil.
"Let's just calm down, I just want to marry you again, we both start from 0, I promise I'll treat you justly and compassionately,"
Rabiah for a moment smiled bitterly, "Sorry mas, Biah can not, Biah already have his own way of life, Biah hope mas happy life with mbak Rani," said Biah to pull his hand back, but Kamil really did not want to let go of Rabiah's hand.
"Please mas, take off Biah's hand," said Rabiah. The fear that Kamil would do something dangerous immediately burst into his mind.
"Let go of Rabiah's hand" said a man who was now walking toward Kamil and Rabiah.
"Sister Ameer" said Rabiah.
"You again, who are you to meddle in my affairs and Rabiah's?" hiss Kamil who was upset with the arrival of Ameer.
"My name is Ameer, I have the right to interfere in Biah's affairs because she is my future wife" Ameer said with a sharp look at Kamil and released Kamil's hand which still gripped Rabiah's hand.
Rabiah's eyes immediately broke into hearing Ameer's reply which now positioned his body in front of Rabiah to block Kamil if he wanted to hurt Rabiah.
"What?" there is no way, Rabiah still loves me, there is no way he will get married anytime soon." Kamil said confidently.
"That was when Biah was your wife, now you're separated. Do not underestimate the feelings of someone who used to love you, someone's feelings can change direction in just a short time. Let alone tomorrow, this second only if God wills then the feeling can be instantly changed or lost without impact."
Kamil now fluttered while contemplating Ameer's words.
"One more thing, appreciate your wife's current presence by no longer chasing other women, because you could feel even more pain and deep regret if the one who is currently still staying by your side suddenly decides to leave you."
After saying that, Ameer immediately left while pulling Rabiah's bag so that Rabiah came with him leaving Kamil who was still silently pecking in his place.
