You Are My Sunshine

You Are My Sunshine
part 5's

At a time like this, I thought I wanted to die. I never thought I'd be harassed by a slovenly man in a room I'd never been to and in a village that was completely foreign to me. The screams and cries were of no use at all. In the darkness, a slovenly and rough man's hands clawed me from my ankles all the way to my base. I even thought about killing myself by biting my tongue or banging my head against the back wall.

Fortunately, in the next second, someone pulled me out of the abyss.

The lights in the room suddenly lit up. Lights flickered momentarily on the ceiling before illuminating the entire room. With reddened and swollen eyes, I glared at the man in front of me with fear. He also looked at me in shock. His dark and perverted face made me completely out of control. I screamed and curled up, not forgetting to pull the blanket over the ragged part of my clothes.

The man jumped down from the bed and pointed at me with an annoyed look, "You, you!"

By this time, I had lost my mind. I cried and screamed like crazy, completely unaware of Jerry and Yanti standing at the door.

There are always so many coincidences in this world. Some things that should not have happened instead, some things that should not be seen were witnessed with their own eyes.

Jerry dumbfounded. His limb muscles responded faster than his brain. He rushed towards the man who was harassing me and immediately fought with him.

Yanti patted her own feet while shouting loudly, "What nonsense is this! What the fuck!" She immediately came to my side, wrapped my body in a blanket, then wrapped her arms around my shoulder, and pulled me to the side of the bed, "Don't cry anymore, come with me!"

After changing clothes, I was still drowning in fear of the nightmare I had just experienced. I broke out in cold sweat and trembled uncontrollably, just continuing to crouch in the corner of the kitchen. In the courtyard outside the door, Yanti picked up a wooden stick and beat the man once after a time until the man ran away from the house.

Yanti drags the wronged Jerry into the house. Jerry's head was down, his whole body as if glued in front of me. The corner of his eyes looked bruised, his hair was messy, his expensive suit was torn, his pants and shoes were also filled with mud.

I think he's back on foot. Even lost, he still tried to make his way here to accompany me. But fate always toying with people, I could have faced something like this.

Yanti cleared her throat awkwardly, "He's an old bachelor in our village, quite rich. She used to be married to Vivi. I don't think he could bear to sneak in from the window. Who knows if I'll even meet you..." Yanti pushed Jerry's back, "You comfort him first."

As soon as Yanti left, Jerry crouched down in the corner of the wall. His head was still down, looking like he was holding back or harboring emotions.

I know what pisses him off. She was upset that she witnessed me being harassed by a foreign man with her own eyes. He once said, to him, I am like a lotus that has not bloomed. I've always kept my virginity from being given to her on our wedding night, but now...

Even though me and the man just now weren't really intimate, but the scene just now had completely destroyed the lotus flower in Jerry's heart.

It's not my fault, it's not Jerry's fault. But there was no denying that this matter had formed an obstacle in his heart.

I reached out and touched his shoulder. He raised his head. The complexity of his gaze made it difficult for me to guess his heart.

"Can you hug me. "I said to him in humility. I need his embrace. As long as he hugs me, I won't feel so sad.

Jerry's embrace was stiff and cold. The sensitive me could realize that an unspeakable foreign distance was slowly forming and growing between us.

I didn't sleep all night. The next day, Dad sent a driver to pick us up. When Jerry and I were about to get into the car, Yanti suddenly came with a pack of luggage, then opened the front door and shouted, "I'm coming with you guys! Vivi didn't give me any explanation, so I'll stay at your house until you give me a satisfactory answer!"

No one can stop Yanti, and Yanti also doesn't give us the chance to stop her at all. As a result, the car drove back to the city.

The word ‘anak’ that Yanti meant was me, but because the problem was changed, the fate of me and Vivi was completely changed. I know all this isn't fair to Vivi, and I'm too lucky to be able to get what Vivi really owns. Sometimes when I face Vivi's face, I feel as if I am the cause of this incident. But I have never seized or stolen anything, the fate that governs all of these interchangeable events.

I looked out the window, swearing tens of thousands of times in my heart that I would never set foot on this ground again in my entire life. Jerry held my hand tight. I did not dare to look at her, for I was afraid that I would find a trace of doubt in her eyes.

"That's... If you go into town with us, who's taking care of Uncle Herman?" suddenly Jerry spoke to Yanti.

Yanti broke the cigarette butts with her long nails full of black dirt, then put the rest of the cigarettes into the pocket, "I've put steamed bread and water on the bed. Aunt Wulan by the side will nudge him once in a while." Yanti smiled, "He won't die, he still has two hands. I have also placed the place to urinate on the side of the bed. It won't die."

"Good then..." Jerry nodded, his tone full of worry.

Upon arrival in the city, Dad was very surprised by Yanti's appearance, but Dad remained polite, allowing Yanti to enter the house.

Yanti stood at the door of the house, turning to look at the flowers and plants in the courtyard that had been treated well. It's all my hard work. My mother, Jenni Winata, has been a housewife all her life. He always keeps the house neat and clean, both inside the house and the yard.

Yanti praised, "The rich in the city are indeed different! It's a villa that's often called on TV, right! Waw! Your house is also high. Very cool. Vivi doesn't want to go home anymore. Our house is dirty! Very dirty! When we used to keep pigs, it was even dirtier!"

Yanti laughed out loud, while Dad frowned. He seemed to feel sorry for Vivi. Her white and beautiful daughter should have lived happily and cheerfully, but instead lived with the pig who ate the leftovers.

We entered the house. As Yanti took off her shoes, an undescribed smell spread out in front of the door.

There are two holes in Yanti's socks. Thumbs with nails that are too long to stick out. There are also two different color spots on the heel. It was obvious that his socks had been too long. Because it is often washed, the color fades and the fabric has even begun to be hairy.

I shouldn't have sympathized with her, but now I have to admit that something deep in the blood subconsciously makes me feel a little emotional.

Father invited Yanti to rest on the living room sofa. Jerry followed me back to the room. My door looked half-closed, it seemed like someone had entered my room.

Justright. My closet has obviously been opened by people, maybe Mom, maybe Vivi. Some of my casual clothes and silk dresses were already out of sight as well.

I took a new shirt from the closet. Jerry said behind my back, "I'll find an opportunity to tell your father what happened last night, so he doesn't tell you to take care of this matter any longer in the future."

I hurriedly shook my head, "No need, now that Vivi's business is enough to make her dizzy, my business let it go. Aren't I okay now."

Jerry hesitated, "But..." He didn't continue, maybe he didn't want to bring up yesterday's problems anymore.

“I'm out first, change your clothes!” He backed off and walked out of the room. When the door closed, my nose immediately felt sore.

The thing that happened last night also left a deep trauma to me.
