Episode 104 - Sacrifice....

"PAPA!!!" shout Valko. Right in front of me and Valko, my father-in-law collapsed under a large tree trunk. His head seemed to be flushing out reddish fluid.

"PAPA!!!" yelled Valko again. "PAPA.." call Valko in tears. Tears came out of both eyes. Both hands were trying to get rid of the tree. "THE ZETA!!!" shout Valko. His voice sounded vibrating. "QUICKLY LIFT UP MY PAPA'S BODY!!!" shout Valko. Both of his hands were trying to lift the tree.

"Eh..i...yes.yes.." - I stammered. The tree looks up. I also held onto both of Father-in-law's shoulders. I pulled the body away from the tree trunk.

"PAPA!!! PAPA!!!" shout Valko. Tears rolled from both eyes. Father-in-law's head was moved by Valko into his lap. "Father..ayo, wake up! Papa!" call Valko.

"What's going on?" I heard someone's voice. Grandpa Dawn and Grandma Vani. Both of them ran towards me and Valko.

"DORCH!!! KENRICK!!!" yell Grandma Belenda. "What happened to Kenrick? Why would he get hurt like this?"

"Papa saved me from the trunk of the big tree.he was like this because of me.." said Valko while crying. The aura of anger and hatred seemed to disappear instantly from Valko's face. He looked like a child who was afraid of losing his parents.

"Papa..wake up, Papa!!!" valko.

"Calm down, kid. Everything will be fine" said Grandma Vani. Vani's grandmother tried to wipe the blood on Father-in-Law's head with her handkerchief.

"May! Come quickly! Kenrick is hurt! Get the car here!" said Grandpa Fajar. Secretary May appeared with several bodyguards.

"Master Dawn!" greet Secretary May.

"No need to talk! Hurry up, get Kenrick to the hospital!"

"Good, Master!" secretary May and the guards said. Father-in-law's body was immediately lifted by the bodyguards. A metallic blue sedan is coming.

"I'll accompany Kenrick in the car. Dawn, you're with Valko and Zeta!" said Grandma Vani while getting in the car.

Father-in-law's head rested on Grandma Vani's lap. The car immediately drove away. Not long after, Valko's car showed up. Secretary May opened the car door.

"Come, Valko, Zeta!" bring Grandpa Fajar. He sat in front of the driver.

"Come on, Hubby," I said, pulling Valko's hand. The car started to go.

"It's my fault! My fault! I made Papa wretch! I am a doom-bearer!" valko is hysterical. She started crying.

"It's not your fault, Hubby. Calm down, Dad must be fine" I said as I stroked Valko's head. Valko's head I leaned against my left shoulder. "Don't cry. Dad must be okay. It's not your fault. Calm down, Hubby," I said constantly.

Grandpa Fajar seems to be stealing glances from the windshield at the top. Maybe he wants to check on my relationship and Valko's progress. Yes, if it is now, whatever I do for Valko is arguably sincere from within my heart. Honestly, I don't want to see him sad.

The car arrived at a hospital. The hospital looks great. The building is a multi-storey building. The car I was riding stopped in the front yard of this hospital.

"Father!!!" shout Valko. He immediately ran out of the car.

"Valkey! Wait!" screams tight. Valko didn't make my call.

"Come, we'll catch up with Valko, Zeta!" said Grandpa Fajar. Grandpa Fajar and I walked quickly to the hospital building. Secretary May was seen welcoming in the hospital lobby.

"Where's Kenrick?" ask Grandpa Dawn.

"Mr Kenrick's been treated. He is now in Ward Melati number 17, sir," replied Secretary May.

Secretary May is just nodding. He walked in front to lead me and Grandpa Dawn. Apparently the ward in question was on the second floor. You need to take the elevator to reach it.

"This is Mr. Kenrick's treatment room" Secretary May said as she opened the door.

There is a writing that reads 'Jasmine Room No. 17's'. Me and Grandpa Dawn immediately entered the room. The father-in-law was lying weakly on the bed. His head was wrapped in bandages. His right hand appears to be wrapped in a cast. A breathing apparatus was attached to his nose.

"Papa.." came a sobbing sound.

Valko sat next to Father-in-Law's bed. Valko held the left hand of Father-in-law. Vani's grandmother is seen standing behind Valko.

"Wake, Pa! Wake up! I'm sorry, Papa. I'm sorry!" valko. "I'm sorry, Papa. Ii'm sorry. Please don't leave me...."

"Hubby.." call me. I approached and sat down next to Valko.

"Don't cry, Dad must be fine" I said, wiping Valko's tears.

"I'm scared, Zeta! Afraid! I'm afraid Papa will leave me like Mama.." said Valko. She was crying in my arms.

"Oh, don't cry. Father must be fine." I said as I stroked Valko's head.

"Ehm..where am I.." a voice heard.

"Kenrick, are you conscious?" yell Grandma Vani.

"Father!!!" shout Valko. "PAPA!!!" call Valko again. He immediately held the left hand of Father-in-law. The hand was pinned by Valko to his right cheek.

"Val.ko..my son.." said Father-in-law. "I'm sorry, son...."

"No, Papa. I should be the one apologizing. Papa is like this because of me." said Valko while crying.

"Here, don't cry, son," Father-in-law's left hand tried to wipe Valko's tears. "It's my job to protect you. You're my son, even if I have to sacrifice a life I'm willing as long as you survive, son."

"Father!!!" Valko hugged Father-in-law.

Thankfully, this may be a fresh start to Valko's relationship with Father-in-Law.
