Episode 118 - Visit....

This car continues to go through crowded streets. Valko fell asleep on my lap as usual. I think he's now a sleeping prince who's getting addicted to sleep. But, it doesn't matter that I'm used to this. In the window of the car looks a familiar building. It's a hospital building, where my father-in-law is being treated. This car entered the hospital building.

"Miss, sir, has arrived" Secretary May said.

"Valko.." call me softly while touching the tip of Valko's nose with my index finger. "Hubby, wake up!" say again. "Come, wakeup! Wake up!" I said again as I continued to squeeze the tip of Valko's nose.

"ah! Mama.." call Valko. He rose from my lap. His hands rubbed his eyes. "It turned out to be just a dream." said Valko with a sigh.

"What's wrong?" my question while helping to fix Valko's hair.

"I dreamt of meeting Mama, Zeta. My mom and I were at the beach. Mom is in the distance. He looked at me with a smile. Both of his hands were pointing to embrace me. I ran there with great enthusiasm. When I was about to run, I woke up. Though it was very close." said Valko. His eyes seemed disappointed. I felt guilty for waking him up.

"Ehm.sorry a.ku, Hubby. I'm not ta..hu..ji.ka.kau.kau.." I said lirih.

"Forget over. It's not your fault, Zeta. Come on, get out. Papa must have been waiting for us" Valko asked. He took my hand. Valko and I got out of the car. "Let me bring the parcel, May. You just wait here" said Valko, taking parcels out of Secretary May's hands.

"Well, sir," said Secretary May.

"Come, Zeta!" valko said again. His left hand held my hand. His right hand carried the parcel.

"Ehm, sir.." Call Secretary May.

"What's up, May?" valko said as he stared at Secretary May.

"Please extend my greetings to Mr. Kenrick, Mr. Fajar and Mrs Belenda" said Secretary May.

"Sure," said Valko briefly.

Valko walked quickly into the hospital building. Valko and I took the elevator. Fortunately, this elevator contained only the two of us, no other men. If there was another man, I would have imagined Valko's jealous reaction.

How is Father-in-law? When is he allowed to go home? The question was spinning in my head. The elevator door opened, coming to a hallway. In the hallway there are several doors. Valko opened one of the doors.

"Ah, my beloved grandson," said Grandma Belenda. She hugged Valko. "Ah, dear Zeta is also here," Grandma Belenda approached me. I kiss Grandma Belenda's hand. Grandma Belenda replied by kissing both of my cheeks.

"You've come, son," came the voice of Father-in-Law. He tried to sit on his bed by leaning against a pillow.

"Yes, Papa," Valko approached Father-in-law. He kissed Father-in-Law's hand. Oh, it's a sight that makes my heart feel at ease. "I brought you some fruits" Valko put them on the table.

"You don't have to bother. You just come here I'm so happy, son," Father-in-law hugged Valko. "Ah, let me hug you. I miss you, son. It was only a day ago that we didn't see each other" Father-in-Law kissed Valko on the forehead. "Oh, my Little Hero, you still make me anxious," Father-in-law pinched both of Valko's cheeks. "How adorable are you" said Father-in-Law.

"Papa, don't do this in front of my wife. I'm ashamed.." said Valko Iirih. Even though I'm beautiful, I can still hear it.

"Ah, I still can't help myself to do it" said Father-in-law. He kissed Valko's forehead again.

"Don't worry. The pain in my head has reduced a lot" said Father-in-law.

"Don't worry, Cu. The doctor said your father's condition is stable. In a few days the band can be opened. Soon he can go home" said Grandma Belenda.

"Thank God" I said.

"Oh yeah, Pa, Grandma. May sends greetings to Papa and Grandma. Oh yeah, where's Grandpa?" ask Valko.

"Your grandfather's in the office, Cu. Um, how else. The family company still has to take care of it. Poor thing, my husband is old. Supposed to enjoy a quiet old day, but how else. The company has nothing to take care of" said Grandma Belenda.

"Ah, Zeta and I should be home soon, Papa. It's late in the afternoon, the clock is almost over" Valko said. I think he's trying to shift the subject. "I'm saying goodbye, Papa, Grandma," Valko kissed Father-in-law's hand. I did the same thing.

"Wait, Cu," call Grandma Belenda. "You better take care of what we talked about yesterday. If you don't want to take full responsibility from your grandfather, at least help your grandfather. Go now, you also have needs around the area right. I heard your friend was having an event around there. Ah, yes, let's just say go on vacation with Zeta," said Grandma Belenda. I don't really understand what that means. But, I think it's about managing a family-owned business. "Zeta, you must be dizzy working on the thesis, right? I was a student once too. "The one Mama dreamed of?" valko. "Why does the story seem to clash like this," Valko sighed. "Well, I'll go there, Grandma."

"Ah, great. Don't worry, you won't have much work there. Consider it a vacation. You just need to check." said Grandma Belenda.

"Yes, yeah. I understand, Grandma. Go, Zeta!" Valko took me out of the room.

Along the way to the hospital parking lot, Valko did not speak. I'm getting curious, what effort, huh? Why Valko seems hesitant to be asked to help. The hospital lobby is out there. A car was in front of the car. Secretary May opened the car door. Valko and I are going in there.

"May, get the plane ready! I'll go with Zeta as Grandpa wishes! I think it's time to face my own fears!" valko.
