"I'm scared, Zeta. I'm afraid the beach is where my mother was killed. I'm afraid! Afraid! The waves seemed to remind me of the murder incident," said Valko Lirih. He hugged me tighter.
"Master, Miss, it's here" Secretary May said. He looked towards Valko. "Sir, are you okay?" ask Secretary May. Valko did not answer. He's hiding behind my back. Sweat dingi felt dripping from his body. "Sir, do I need to call a doctor?" ask Secretary May.
"Mrs May, you and Mr. Driver come out first. Wait outside. Let me accompany Valko," I ordered.
"Well, Miss," said Secretary May. He got out of the car with the driver.
I stared at the car window. The car stopped right near the beach. The blue sea is clearly visible. The clean white sand beach glittered as if pampering the eyes. The waves sounded very clear from here.
Valko really hugged me tightly. Cold sweat dripped from his body. His hands are cold. I can understand his fear. His mother was killed while they were on holiday in the coastal area. Valko has been through a deep trauma until now. I don't know what place Valko's going to go. Could it be the place where Madam Parama was killed? Never mind, don't think about it first.
"Hubby," call me. Valko didn't answer my call. His face was covered with cold sweat. I took a few sheets of tissue from the one hanging on the back of the first row car seat. I'm sweating on Valko's face. "Calm down, everything's fine" I said, fixing Valko's hair.
"I'm scared, Zeta! Afraid! The sound of the waves reminded me of that event. The sound of the waves was heard very clearly in the inn when the event happened. The gunshot sounded again in my ear!" valko. I'm coming down from Valko's lap. I moved my seat next to Valko.
"I'm here for you, Hubby," Valko hugged. I stroked her head gently. "Nobody's gonna hurt you. Everything's fine. Don't worry, Zeta is here for Valko. Kukecup Valko's forehead. Strange, Valko's grandparents should have known about this trauma, but why did they keep Valko here. Maybe this is an attempt to get Valko to face the trauma of his past. "Hubby," call me. Valko still did not answer the call. "Come, we're going down to the sea!" whispered in his ear.
"Wouldn't! I'm scared!" shout Valko.
"I'm with you, Valko. No one's gonna hurt you. The way to make peace with fear is to face it. Valko!" call me. I hold Valko's head up. "Gear me, Valko!" I held both Valko cheeks. "You must be brave, Valko! The Valko I've known all along is brave and fearless of anything! Come on, let's try to get out!" take me.
"But, Zeta.." said Valko.
"Shhh! I'm with you, Valko. You're not alone" I persuaded.
"Ba.iklah," said Valko.
I opened the car door. I took Valko's right hand. I pulled the hand, Valko's foot stepped out of the car. Valko hugged me tightly. His body is leaning on me.
"Come, go, Hubby. Fear not, I am with you" I whispered in Valko's ear. I led Valko to the shore. He wants to face his fears. That's the only way I know. "Come, we're closing in!" whispered again.
"Zeta, let's go back!" reject Valko.
"Hubby, the beach may hold terrible memories. But remember, the beach also holds good memories. Great memories when you were on vacation with your mom. Try, remember that moment. Fight your fears. Remember when you and your mother smiled cheerfully. When you two enjoy time together cheerfully. Think about it and remember it, Valko. The beach is not a scary place. The beach is a beautiful place. The place where you and your mom went on vacation together. Try to remember your mom's smile when you and her play together on the beach. Remember that beautiful day. Remember, Valko! Remember it!" whispered again.
"Come, we're getting close to the waterfront" I asked. Kugandeng Valko's hand towards the waterfront. Valko's steps stopped until here.
"No! I can't do this!" reject Valko. He crouched down, both his hands covering both his ears. An idea was thought in my head. I think I should try that way.
"Ah, Valko, please! Help u! Help, me!" my yelling. "Valkey! Help, me!" screams tight. I threw myself in the sand. "Valkey! Help me!" yell again. I pretended to be holding my leg.
"They!" shout Valko. He came straight to me. "What's going on?" ask Valko.
"Feel this!" I splashed water from the puddles in the sand towards Valko. Valko can't avoid it. His clothes were wet from the splash of water.
"How dare you lie to me!" yelled Valko annoyed.
"Catch me if you can!" I shouted while running away from Valko.
"Wait, don't run! Watch out, you, Zeta!" Valko. I think the way I succeeded. He completely forgot his fear even though it was being distracted by his anger at me.
"Aah!" I shouted as Valko swiftly caught me. "Valko, put me down!" Valko. He then dropped me right on top of a big waterhole. My body is completely wet. "ah! Valko!" my yelling. He didn't stop here. Valko also threw splashes of water mixed with beach sand.
"Feel that! Ahaha!" Valko laughing. "It! Feel it!" Valko threw the wet sand back at me. I think he's completely forgotten his fear of the beach.
