Burmese City

Finally they arrived in Burma. This town is really small. As they entered the city, they were greeted by unpaved streets and old houses.

A boy suddenly appeared in front of him. The boy had a shabby appearance and walked barefoot. "Sister, are you a newcomer? Your clothes are very nice" the boy commented.

Gin nodded.

"Sister, what do you want? I can show you the way. It costs only 1000 flos" said the boy innocently.

"I want to know a place that sells good food" Gin replied later.

The three people were wearing long black robes that covered their entire bodies and a hood that covered their heads.

Gin did not notice them anymore because the owner of this place greeted him and told him to sit down. Then he handed a menu to Gin.

"What's the best menu here?" ask Gin.

"Steak shrimp and Poly Noodles" replied the cafe owner.

"Okay, I ordered that. Two servings" Gin said later. Then he pulled the child who led him to sit in front of him. "You eat too. I'll pay you after this" Gin said.

The boy gawked then he looked at Gin with sparkling eyes. "Thank you brother"

"Large family.." Suddenly Gin heard a voice. His sense of hearing was good enough that he could hear well even if it was just a little sound.

Gin used his skill to sharpen his hearing. The voice came from the three black robes sitting at the very corner of the cafe. Gin was curious as they suddenly mentioned the 'big family' on their topic of conversation.

"The forest has never been explored by anyone. Even the extended family of Mozu never touched it"

After that, they stopped talking. They stood up and paid for their food and got out of the cafe.

"Hey, haven't you eaten for a few days?" gin asked when he saw her eating too greedily.

The boy shook his head. "I eat every day once" he said plainly. "Bread and milk" he continued. "But I've never eaten so well" he stared at the food in front of him as if he was looking at a treasure.

"Do you live alone?"

"No. I live with my mother. But he was sick." said the boy in a bitter voice, he hid his sadness. The boy told me that he and his mother lived in a village near the Burmese city. But a strange disease suddenly attacked their village. The disease only affects women. People who get the disease get sick and die. That's why he took his mother to the city to get further treatment. And he's looking for money for his mother's medical expenses.

"How much does that cost?" ask Gin.

"Two million flos" he said.

Gin suddenly took out a bag of empty air. The child gasped for the item that suddenly appeared in the air. Then he put the bag in front of the child.

"There's five million flos inside. Use it well for your mother's treatment" Gin said later.

"...." - ".The boy froze. His eyes were gawking and his mouth was so shocked. He never expected that this would happen to him. Today he only works as usual to guide the travelers who are lost in this city.

"What are you doing?" sentak Gin couldn't believe it.

"I'm just making sure that I'm not dreaming" he said. He looked at the bag in front of him then he paid his full respect to Gin. "Thank you brother" he said firmly. "I won't cry. I'll use this money properly to cure mom. I will become strong and return the favor someday" he said with a trembling body, holding back his cries.

Gin smiled. He stroked the boy's head. "Live well" he said sincerely. I don't know why he feels sorry for those kids who live like that. Just like Lu Tu. He did not understand why children like them could not feel the complete warmth of the family. He was born that way too. But she ignored him because his soul was the soul of an old man. After tasting the best food in town, Gin went downtown. He saw people gathered in a circle as if they were surrounding something. Gin approaching. He saw that two people were fighting there.

Gin looked shocked. He knew. It was Lian. It looks like the girl is fighting with the other girl.

The other girl looked strange. She was wearing a fancy dress with a lot of lace in a small town like this. And her dress has a mixture of colorful colors that dazzle the eyes. Then she also wore a very thick make up, which made her appearance even more bizarre.
