As the white snake released its bite, the murderous arm began to turn blue. Then his whole body turned blue too. And he fell down with a mouth full of foam. The deadly poison from the snake actually killed him in just an instant.
"I told you..." Gin looked at the killer while shaking his head, pitying. Then he looked at the white snake with a puzzled look. "Why did you kill him?" he asked a stupid question.
"I smell my eggs on his body" said the snake while hissing in annoyance. He started to approach the body of the corpse then searched it.
The white snake went inside the corpse's clothes to search his body. Meanwhile, Gin finds a strange-looking ring on his finger. It is not a wedding ring but rather a storage space ring. Gin took the ring, then he started taking out the items inside one by one.
Then something round and white also fell when Gin took out all the contents. It was an egg. Eggs are ivory white and as big as oranges.
Tung, tung, tung. the egg rolled violently when it fell. The white snake quickly approached him and touched the egg with its snake tail. Then it began to wrap around the egg and carry it.
"I found one" he said. There was a drop of tear that fell as she found her egg.
Gin counted with his finger. There were three assassins he saw and also three eggs. He drew the conclusion that these three people had each egg.
Gin checked the other stuff. It was gems, potions and ATM cards. He threw out the ATM card because he couldn't take the contents. Then he stored some gemstones and some potion bottles inside his storage room.
He also found some shabby looking paper rolls. He accidentally saw the writing on one of the scrolls. He picked it up and found that it looked very strange. This is not the language of Mozu. But somehow he understood the meaning because of his passive skill.
"Burmese City, Mr. Vensius"
Gin scrunched his forehead. He did not think that he would see the name of the Burmese city again. He reached the conclusion that the Burmese City was in contact with these assassins. It's possible that the city lord sent the assassins because Lian was fighting with her daughter. But he had not expected that the city lord would do something like this, considering that some of them were children of large families in the capital. He thought that it would not be simple like this.
Gin thought about the next step he should take. He could fly directly to the Burmese city to search for this Lord Vensius. Or he goes around the woods to find his friends. Or help the white snake find its eggs and kill the remaining killers.
For Gin everything is the same. Because he had to use his power to do all that. Therefore, Gin only wanted to choose one of them.
CRUST! Gin heard the sound of a broken twig. He immediately turned around and found a girl trying to approach him secretly. Gin knew. That girl is Lian.
"Gin, what happened to that killer?" Lian looked at Gin with a strange look. "There's no way you beat him, right?" he said with a doubtful tone.
Gin shakes. "It's not me". He's not lying. The white snake killed him.
For some reason, the white snake suddenly disappeared the moment Lian came. Gin thought that he had gone back into the lake because he saw a slight ripple on the surface of his lake.
Lian approached and checked the body of the killer. "He was poisoned" he said in shock. "Do you know what poisoning he was?" he looked at Gin with an enthusiastic look. He was curious about something that could make an immortal body cultivator die of poisoning. It must be a very powerful poison.
"Did?" gin replied hesitantly while scratching his head.
"Huh?" Lian's face turned ugly. "Hey, don't joke" he said. He did not believe a snake could kill an immortal cultivator. He expected Gin to be honest and said, I have a deadly poison potion, rather than an answer like this.
"At least it should be a late-level immortal body snake. Do you think I'm stupid? If there was such a dangerous animal here, you would have died too" Lian nagged.
"I'm not lying" Gin lowered his head listlessly.
"Huh, surely you don't know anything" spray Lian directly. He came to a conclusion quickly.
"..." - ".Gin didn't know what to answer.
Shortly after, Lian took out a syringe from her storage room. He took the blood from the corpse and put it in a small bottle. He took a sample of this poison and he would investigate it later after returning to the academy.
"By the way, do you know Mr Vensius?' gin asked as Lian was busy searching the body of the killer.
Lian froze for a moment. "I know" he answered later. Then he looked at Gin with an expression of disbelief. "How could you not know? You didn't read the guidebook?"
Before being sent on this exploration mission, they were given a guidebook by the academy. The book contains important information about the exploration area along with several places around it. Includes general information about the city of Burma. It was just that Gin was lazy to read such a thing.
"Master of Burma?" Gin guess.
Lian nodded. "So you read it" he said. "Why suddenly ask about the old man?" Mood Lian turned ugly. He remembered about the conflict he had experienced in that suburban town. He recalled the appearance of the crazy woman insulting him in the middle of the city.
Gin took out the strange piece of paper and gave it to Lian. He also explained that he got the paper on the body of this corpse.
Lian's expression hardened. "He sent these killers?" Lian thought the same thing. "But how is it possible?" he felt confused again. Vensasius was only a city lord in a suburb. Then he was not a cultivator either. "The situation is not so important. How could he summon three immortal body cultivators to kill us?"
Gin thought the same thing.
Suddenly Gin remembered the communication tool the academy had given them. He took it out and wanted to use it. But Lian sneered. "That tool can't be used"
"?"
"The killers blocked the signal from any communication device in this forest. To use it we need to go away from this place first and call for help". Lian explained that there was a signal barrier device deployed in this forest. But he had no idea how wide the area was. So they have to stay away from this place as far as possible to look for signals.
Eventually the goal is set, Gin follows Lian to get away from the forest. It just so happened that Lian was very good at sneaking and escaping. That was why, he could avoid those assassins more easily than the other children.
"Gin, you must have taken the money, right?" lian asked as the two were busy running around in the middle of the forest.
"..."
"That immortal cultivator must be rich. You're really lucky" he grumbled. Honestly, Lian was jealous of Gin's good luck,
