Collecting Flags

The practice exam began the next day. This practice exam was conducted to see if there was any significant progress from the cultivation of the disciples. Each disciple would do a check back on their respective realm. This practice exam will be divided into two stages. The first stage is an individual ability exam and the second stage is a group exam.

The first test is done in the classroom. Siyan will check the cultivation development of all the disciples. There were some disciples who managed to raise their realm by as much as one level.

The first practice exam is completed. The second stage of the practice exam was conducted. Each student will choose a drawing paper that determines where their group is at random. Gin got the number 5. Li Seng also got the number 5. Besides Li Seng, Sima Arai was also in group 5. As well as one female disciple named Lian who was in a level 6 silver body as well. While Fei Lan got the number 1 and Mona got the number 3.

"Since I've been the strongest here. I will be the group leader" Sima said confidently.

Lian and Li Seng nodded in agreement. But then Li Seng looked towards Gin. Unknowingly he stopped nodding quickly. It seemed that only he knew that Gin was the strongest of them all. Gin had the strength of a gold core cultivator.

Siyan explained the rules about the second stage exam. Everyone will get their own flag. They have to keep the flag up. Don't let your opponent steal the flag unless they are completely defeated.

So the second stage is the seizure of the flag carried out by between groups. Each team can steal the flag from the other team. But there are some hidden flags in some of the training grounds that are already provided. So everyone has two options, look for flags by browsing or stealing flags from other groups.

The location of the exam will be held in the forest behind the academy. The forest tended to be safe and had no dangerous demon beasts. There were some low-level demon beasts but the disciples could definitely defeat him. The exam will be held for two days. So the students were required to stay for one night in the forest until the exam time was over. The grade of this second stage exam is determined by how many flags are collected.

"The test starts now" Siyan announced. Then every student started to run into the forest.

"You listen to me" Sima ran in front, leading the other three. "We need to work together. But don't attack other groups that have power stronger than us. You know who to avoid, right?"

"Goddess Lan and your brother?" reply Li Seng reflex.

Li Seng and Lian immediately nodded in agreement. Gin did not give any response. He looked around the forest as he ran.

"Oh?" Gin realized something. He jumped straight up into the tree. The three people nearby were completely unaware of his movements as they were busy talking.

Gin jumped 5 meters and he found a flag on a tree branch, snagged. "I got one" he said casually as he stuffed the flag into his pocket. Then he went down and caught up with his group quickly.

"So we have to set the strategy today. And don't forget everyone has to stand guard later tonight. We cannot allow the enemy to attack us. Then find a hidden place to sleep" Sima said.

"Yes, you're right. I'm really afraid that someone will sneak up while we sleep" Li Seng said with a pale face.

"Don't be afraid. I have a scouting technique. I will be aware of the enemy when they are a few meters away from us" Sima continued confidently.

THE SAT!

Gin ran to the side and he found another flag in the bushes. Then he went back to his group.

Gin activated his eagle eye skill. So he could see objects clearly from afar even though he was running fast. The color of the flag was very striking, so he quickly found it. Even if the flag is on trees, bushes, sand dunes, wooden ravines, and so on.

During the thirty minutes of running, Gin jumped left, right and up, collecting all the flags he saw. While the three people in front of him were busy talking about strategy or something.

Gin realized that both of his pants pockets were full. He had already collected ten flags!

"I didn't bring a bag." he muttered sadly. He wished he could find crackle plastic in this forest, so he could keep his flag there. Otherwise, inevitably he would have to sacrifice his clothes as a storage area.

Although there are some flags that are only a few feet away from them.

Sima started to explain everyone's skills. And Gin thought that he was gossiping about everyone.
