Mahesa watched Aul who was busy typing on a laptop screen that had been on for three hours. Mahesa clucked in annoyance, Aul looked serious about his work and ignored his previous self trying to break Aul's concentration.
“Don't be too serious, but your forehead is already rich nine-nini!” tease Mahesa while taking a snack that is next to Aul's laptop.
“Lo kuker really feeling, do not get together with temen lo it?” Aul glanced at Mahesa who shook her head.
“When I just make lo,” kelakar Mahesa who makes Aul throw a small pillow with a picture of Winnie the Pooh on Mahesa who avoids it deftly.
“Crocodile!”
Mahesa choked, looking for a drink to ease the uncomfortable feeling in her throat. While Aul, he laughed back and forth because of Mahesh who was in trouble looking for drinking water. “Mampus tuh!” teasing Aul after feeling satisfied.
A notification from Mahesa's phone made Aul curious to open the phone output this year. Because Mahesa is accustomed to not using a password on her phone, it makes it easier for Aul to know the name of the sender of the message on social media owned by Mahesa.
The owner of the Instagram account name 'salsan_' made Aul feel familiar. His name feels familiar. Moreover, the continuous messages sent to Mahesa's phone, enough to make Aul conclude something: Mahesa is close to someone.
Aul's smile rose instantly. He also feels happy. Mahesh was a typical person who was difficult to get close to women, and now ... Aul was immediately happy to imagine Mahesa who eventually would not get the singles title again.
“Esaaa, congratulations yes!” shout Aul.
Mahesa again choked on her drinking water. He looked hard at Aul. “Do not scream!”
Aul just smirked a little. He got off the bed and approached Mahesa.
The fierce thump that Mahesa felt on his back, leaving a sharp pain. Mahesa glared sharply at Aul. “Bocil is not polite!” ledek.
Aul showed off his neat rows of teeth, he brandished Mahesa's phone in front of the man. “Salsa-Salsa where is it?” exclaims Aul while teasing Mahesa with many statements that make Mahesa feel annoyed.
Mahesa turned Aul's body upside down, so that Aul's tiny body turned around forcefully. Aul was going to protest, but Mahesa first pushed him to get out of his room and until they were in the back garden.
In the garden, there was already Aura who was watering her beloved plants. There was also Aryan who was reading the newspaper and sitting casually across, where Aura was watering the plants.
Aul gasped when he found Aryan's gaze watching Aura so deeply. The more Aul noticed, the more obvious was the love that Aul saw from the way his father looked at his mother. Aul tried to blink his eyes, as his eyes suddenly felt sore and watery. One blink alone, can melt a lot of tears that will wet his cheeks.
Aul turned to Mahesa who was standing next to him. He looked carefully at Mahesa's serious face while typing on the phone screen. Whether what Mahesa was looking for or discussing in her phone, but her forehead is faintly wrinkled, and there is no dated smile, making Aul trapped in enjoying Mahesa's serious face which he could rarely see.
Aul was misbehaving, he threw away his gaze. “High confidence!” sibirnya slow.
The sound of the loudness that Aul heard from Mahesa. But then his body rebelled as Mahesa dragged him back to the front yard. But before leaving, it was Mahesa's scream that really upset Aul towards him.
“Om, Auntie, the girl I kidnapped first ya!”
And even more annoying, his father replied to him with a shout that was no less regretful that Aul had ever received. “Iya take it, as long as you do not let the time blisters back!”
Aul snorted loudly. He could not resist and his father gave him permission. Though Aul intends to spend the rest of his vacation time to learn to prepare for UN later. But, it's over. Mahesa would definitely not let Aul study quietly.
“Refeshing, Aul. For a long time your head can be bald if you continue to learn," Mahesa scolded when Aul expressed his disapproval to join Mahesa this weekend.
Aul lazily denied, but did not also bear, if he kept silent. Finally, what came out of his mouth was only the swearing Aul made to Mahesa, so upset. “While nutmeg, Bambang!”
“My name is Mahesa, not Bambang!" mahesa Protest.
Aul throws his lips, mocking Mahesa who is still trying to pull Aul to come with him.
“Lo should picnic. Bodi lo already rich broom aja, flat and easy to be potekin,” hina Mahesa.
Aul. He's pounding Mahesa's shoulder pretty hard. “Body shamming lo!” sulk Aul really. He folded his hands in front of his chest. Standing haughty when Mahesa was in front of him while roaring his noisy motorbike engine.
His voice is very deafening. Aul covered his ears and glared at Mahesa, who had an innocent face.
“Carpet, Esaaa!” pekik Aul's.
When Aul violently touched the ears of Mahesh and Mahesh who failed to avoid him, in his heart, Mahesh was grateful for not seeing Aul who was insanely busy and like a workaholic.
Mahesa just took him around the housing and enjoy the coolness of the metropolitan city while being cool as it is today. The cloudy weather, not cloudy and also the absence of stinging sunlight when the clock shows at one o'clock in the afternoon, Aul was grateful.
His heart was peaceful when he saw some rice fields objects that they crossed. Aul himself had no idea which area Mahesa was taking him to. It seems like the definition of ‘dulik’ has succeeded Mahesa did to him.
Secretly, the memory of Riziq slipped in the peace of Aul's current heart. A wisp of wind, as if whispering to her, Riziq memories were surfacing.
“Supply save that miss in silence. Because he is a futility that I am too perfect for,” muttered Aul.
Aul would not allow his mood to become cloudy and messy again just from remembering Riziq. He suggested himself, not to be shackled again by the shadow of his past. “Time to look ahead and don't expect to forget the past!” sure in the heart.
After solidifying himself many times, finally little by little, his memory of Riziq, faded slightly. Replaced by the smile imprinted on Aul's face that was blown by the wind.
