Honey, I miss your smile.
Like a drought in the rain.
The name I got was sadness.
The smile engraved on your lips I know is only compulsion.
I know, maybe you're disappointed with the situation, though,
Ii'm sorry.
By Allah, 1 second in this cage, I feel like all day.
I hope that from you, not a single drop of love evaporates to the clouds.
Honey, pray that all this will soon pass.
and soon we're ahead of happiness, aamiin..
It was late at night, but Edos' eyes were still awake. Now Edos was looking at the face of his wife who slept in her arms across the hospital cage. Sometimes he kissed the top of the head and forehead of the wife.
Feeling that something was disturbing, Tania's body wriggled, but her eyes remained closed, making Edos even more anxious to look at his beloved wife.
Slowly Tania's eyes opened, the light of the flaring lights made her eyes glare.
"Kok, don't sleep, Yank?" ask Tania.
"Capek sleep on, tomorrow we go home. I don't feel right here. The food is not good" Edos said.
"Yes, but wait for a doctor's visit first" Tania persuaded.
"Doctor when did it come?" ask Edos again.
"I don't know, I'm not the doctor. Udah ah, I'm tired of sleeping so sleepy," said Tania.
Tania fell asleep again, but Edos' eyes still did not want to be closed. He now plays the face of his wife, from starting to twist her hair, pricking her cheeks with her fingers, pinching her nose and squashing her eyes so that even open did not escape from her ignorance. But it also can not drive away his boredom.
Really bored.
Edos grabbed his phone which he placed beside his sleeping pillow.
Czechoslovak, cekrek,
He took pictures of himself and his wife from every angle he could.
Bored again, though,
Open the blue app. Last night he opened after ijab qobul. Edos only scrolls the news on his porch.
Looks like something was missed earlier.
Edos scrolls back to the top. He found it, an online novel application advertisement containing a fragment of stories and images.
Is this the app Tania likes?
Edos skimmed a glimpse of the story featured in the ad.
Like a girl just read a ginian romantic story, but it seems interesting for boredom.
He pressed the advertisement. A moment later he was taken to the play store, then the open command appeared, he pressed it.
Time Travel, by,
Edos has no desire to login, he just wants to open the genre. He read one of the travel time genre novel titles.
I read several episodes of Edos. Now he began to feel sleepy whack, but still wanted to read the story, because he felt the story more interesting.
Edos could no longer endure his sleepiness. Suddenly,
"God."
Edos eyes blinked in surprise, he saw Tania was rubbing rough cheeks.
"Why?" edos asked who had difficulty opening his eyes.
"Your HP, it fell on my cheek," replied Tania pouting to hand over the HP of Edos that she held, and was taken by Edos.
Hearing his wife's reply, Edos immediately rubbed gently and kissed Tania's cheek.
"Sorry, Yank" he said. "Udah, sleep again," he persuaded.
It didn't take long, they both ended up sleeping.
In the morning, Tania woke up hearing noises like people pushing a push rack made of zinc. It turns out that the nurse on guard duty is dividing and putting a basin filled with warm water to wash the patient's body in front of the patient's room.
When she opened her eyes, the first thing Tania saw was the handsome face of her husband who was still asleep. A handsome face that always never gets tired of being looked at.
Not quite satisfied Tania observed every inch of the curves of her husband's face, she gave a glimpse of her husband's lips. He saw the face of the person who still did not want to open his eyes. Tania switched to kissing Edos' forehead long enough.
Tania glanced at the clock stuck to the wall, still at half-five in the morning. Slowly she took off her husband's embrace and went down from the cage. He dragged his feet into the bathroom, he bathed and abluted.
Tania came out of the bathroom then prayed next to the brangkar. He prayed solemnly, then recited to the Khaliq, asking forgiveness for all the sins he had committed.
Tania stood up, took off and folded the face she was wearing, putting it into a small cupboard next to the cage.
He then went out to take a large basin filled with warm water, put the basin under the cage. He took a washlap and put it in water.
Tania stood looking at her husband, gently stroking his hair.
"Wake up, Yank" he said, drawing closer to Edos' ear.
With great difficulty Edos opened his eyes.
"What time?" ask her with eyes that are still difficult to open.
"Fifth hour" answered Tania briefly.
"Ah, it's still morning." replied Edos who was closing his eyes.
"I cleaned your body. The water will be cold" Tania said, raising her voice by an octave.
"Jude, just clean it up. But I'm still sleepy" said Edos, his snoring began to sound again.
"Huft," Tania snorted violently.
She painstakingly cleansed the skin all over the body of her husband who returned to sleep. The curtains of the room were still closed, Tania painstakingly changed Edos clothes with a t-shirt and batik sarong.
Tania returned the basin to its original place, in front of the patient room beside the door. He returned to the room and sat down in a chair beside the cage.
Rifki has got a second wheelchair yet. Tania murmured to herself.
Tania grabbed her phone, was about to call Rifki's number but was afraid to disturb her sleep.
While Edos just opened his eyes, he saw the clothes he was wearing was different from before. He tried to sit with his hands resting, leaning on the back of the cage.
"Say, whose clothes are these?" ask her to Tania while grazing the t-shirt she wears.
Tania looked at him.
"Shirt me, Yank," replied Tania.
"Which book?" ask Edos again.
Trivial question, but why does it feel heavy to answer for Tania. Tania let out a long breath.
"Your suitcase, still left in the car, Yank," said Tania faltered. "And the car exploded shortly after we got kicked out." Her body could not hold back tears.
Edos looked at his wife.
"Udah, don't cry, here!" edos spread out his arms and wanted to hug Tania.
She ran into the arms of her husband. Edos greeted, patting his back.
"Don't be sad anymore, God still loves us. We can find treasure, we can buy clothes, but no one sells them."
Tania did not reply to her husband's words, her tears flowing so fast, for two weeks she just kept herself sad. He had no place to complain.
Now that her husband had regained consciousness, after being satisfied with crying, it felt like the heavy burden squeezing on Tania's chest seemed to disappear.
"So, can we go home today?" edos asked after Tania's crying subsided.
Tania looked at the husband who was still holding her.
"Why wait for the afternoon?" ask Edos again.
"Wait for the doctor, Yank. Lagian Mas Rifki has not told you yet, have been able to wheelchair what not." explained Tania.
"Who is Mas Rifki, you call him very friendly. Why not just buy a wheelchair at the store?" ask Edos streak.
"Oh yes. Mas Rifki was Bu Retno's son, the one you almost hit back then. I called Mas because he was older than me" Tania said.
"Keep, why don't you use my ATM card? the pin number I'm telling you about" asked Edos again.
God, do I have to be honest that the cards are no longer usable, Tania murmured.
Tania sighed softly before speaking back.
"All your cards were rejected by the bank, Yank. Perhaps your father has blocked it" Tania replied.
"God, Papa has the same heart as his own son." muttered Edos.
"I'm sorry, Say. I shouldn't have brought you to this town. I thought I could make you happy, it was just misery I gave you" Edos said.
Tania looked at her husband's face.
"Don't regret something that happened, Yank. Since I have never regretted marrying you, we'll go through it together. This is a test of a wife, when the husband has nothing" Tania said.
"Oh, the wife's exam is when the husband has nothing, then what's the husband's exam?" edos asked only to test Tania.
"Husband test? yeah, when the wife doesn't wear anything, ups."
Tania covered her mouth with her hands, she blushed in embarrassment having slipped in speech. Edos' laughter exploded.
"Hahaha, my wife is smart now" Edos said.
The praised one tried to hide her face in her husband's armpits.
"Eh, wait for Say." Edos cupped his wife's face. "This is why blue?" edos rubbed Tania's cheek.
"You forgot, Yang. Last night was KDRT?" Tania answered with a question.
"KDRT?" edos asked confusedly. "Oh, sorry, Say. I was not intentionally. Masa spelled out the KDRT," Edos protested to his wife.

Meanwhile, Abizar grew increasingly agitated at the thought of Tania. He felt that something was happening to his cousin's sister, even though the photos he saw on the blue app exuded a hue of happiness. Abizar could not work well if he had not heard from him.
Abizar tried to contact someone, though,
"Assalamu'alaikum, Aunt's most handsome niece," said a woman in her 40s on the other end of the phone.
"Bu Lek, Tania is in Jakarta now" Abizar said.
"Tania? You mean Tania's Aunt?" ask the woman.
"Yes, Miss Lek. Is he going to Miss Lek's house?" Ask Abizar.
"No, he's not here. When did he go to Jakarta? Same who?" ask the woman again.
"Since two weeks ago Ms. Lek, she has been to Jakarta with her husband, Azhar," Abizar said.
"His husband? So Tania's married?" ask Goddess. The woman was Dewi, the younger sister of Juragan Burhan. She is Tania's mother.
"He is married to Azhar, my sister Bu Lek. But neither phone number is active" Abizar replied.
"Bizar, please Auntie sent a photo of Tania and her husband who is now yes!" pinta Goddess.
"Yes, Miss Lek. Later Bizar send through WA only," replied Abizar.
"Please also, find out where it is," Pinta Dewi again.
"Surely, Miss Lek. Bizar will try to find him" replied Abizar. "Yes, Miss Lek. Later if there's news about Tania again we're tidings to each other."
"Yes, Bizar. Thank you for telling Auntie."
"Together, Miss Lek. Assalamu'alaikum." Abizar ended his call with a greeting.
"Wa'alaikumussalam" answered the Goddess.
[It's a photo of Tania and Azhar, Ms. Lek.]
The goddess sitting on her bedroom sofa was pensively looking at the photo of Tania and Edos in the WhatsApp message Abizar sent.
Forgive Mother, Son. Mother does not mean to leave you, but the circumstances that forced Mother to leave. Hopefully we can be reunited, so that Mother can make up for Mother's mistakes during this time. The inner Goddess cried considering the events of her past.
A middle-aged man approached him. A man in gray pants and a white shirt, he sits next to the Goddess while holding a tie.
"What's up, Ma? Why is mom crying?" Ask the man. She is Ardi, the second husband of the Goddess.
The Goddess's view did not shift from its original place.
"Tania is now in Jakarta, Pa. She is married to Azhar. Abizar just told Mama," replied the Goddess. "But no one knows where Tania is now" he added.
Ardi only listened to the grievance of the wife.
"Mama wants to meet him, Pa. But Mama was afraid she was rejecting Mama."
Ardi placed the tie he was holding on the table. He intended to ask the Goddess to wear it on her neck collar as the Goddess used to do every morning. But his wife was sad to remember his son.
Ardi holds the body of the Goddess into his arms.
"Prophey, Ma. Hopefully we find him soon. She could've accepted Mama if she knew the truth."
Ardi tried to calm his troubled wife.
"Had dong sad, Papa can be late to the office, if Mama is still sad continue to be like gini. Papa also can not leave Mama in this situation," Ardi persuaded.
"Astaghfirullahal'adzim, what time is it, Mas?" said Dewi while looking at the display of the clock in HP he held. "Why hasn't Papa left yet?" ask her husband without feeling sinful.
"Udah knows your husband can't wear his own tie, still his necklace" Ardi said.
"Udah knows the wife again sad, still spoiled," replied the Goddess.
The goddess took the tie that was on the table, grabbing both of her husband's shoulders to face him.
"Mean it if Mama again put a tie to Papa noticed. It's been a dozen years of seeing things like this every day, still can't."
Ardi just smiled looking at his wife's face which he thought was very funny. He simply imitated the words of the Goddess with his lips without a sound.
There was a cry, now nagging is not clear. Basic woman, her mood is unpredictable, always changing every time.
But frankly I prefer you like this. Although this heart is sometimes irritated to hear your scolding. I can't bear to see you constantly grieving to see you for a dozen years holding back the desire to meet your first child. Although there is now a second Tania, the fruit of our love, Aghni.
Dewi, whatever people judge you, you're still my god. The helper goddess that was able to make me rise from the slump after Aina's departure for good. You can also be a good connecting mother, who loves Bram like your own child. You're the hero of my life and my son's.
"Pa, why daydream? Let's have breakfast first," said Dewi resuscitated Ardi from his daydreams instantly.
"Papa has breakfast at the office, Ma. It's noon, '" said Ardi.
"Oo, that. Sorry Mama, Pa. Because of Mama, Papa so late dech to his office, "sorry Goddess.
"Sstt, no. Once in a while eating at the office is no problem for Papa," said Ardi.
Ardi peeked briefly at his wife's forehead, the Goddess grabbed her husband's hand, then kissed him.
"Good at home" Ardi said, leaving Dewi.
Dewipun nodded looking at her husband's back which was getting further away.
