They met on the train platform. There are 10 minutes before departure. Alex tells Gayatri to wait for him and he promises to come home before the wedding day.

However, he sees a yellow sign in front of Gayatri's house. He immediately ran through the crowd.

"What happened to Gayatri?" ask Yua curiously.

Alex hesitates to tell her the story. Then he took his breath deep.

Gayatri died.

"You know, I don't even shed a single tear" Alex told me.

Yua who heard it just fell silent.

Gayatri's father patted Alex on the shoulder. Perhaps his tears did not drip but his heart was completely shattered into pieces. Gayatri's father told her that her son had died of Malaria fever. At that time it was the rainy season, many mosquitoes were breeding. Not only Gayatri many other villagers were affected by the outbreak.

Alex tried to break his heart. But he can't forget Gayatri. It's the wrong way. Alex tried to heal himself in ways that the Dutch nobility did. Having Dutch blood makes it easier for Alex to get access to alcohol. He became an addict. Alex offends himself for not being able to save Gayatri.

The more days Alex gets buried in his hallucinations due to the side effects of alcohol. He imagined that Gayatri was still alive and by his side at the time.

Alex also neglects his duties and obligations as a soldier. He was also caught consuming alcohol and drugs. Alex is fired and released. After being fired, he still consumes the illegal goods. Alex's father even locked him in a room and threw away all the illegal stuff.

The locked-up Alex ends up sick because he hasn't drunk anything yet. He tried to open his room. The door was broken with all his might until finally the door was broken. He managed to get out of his room. His body was staggering, his eye bags were black and his lips were pale.

His parents who heard the commotion immediately ran to where Alex was.

"Where's Gayatri?" yell Alex.

Alex's mother hugged her son. Alex pushed his mother.

"Gayatri is happy there, you calm down son" Alex's father said.

At that time his mind was not clear. Hearing the father say it was as if Gayatri was dead made Alex angry. Alex slams things around him, then heads to the kitchen. He took a knife and pointed it at his parents. While aiming his knife he searched for liquor all over the kitchen. But the drink wasn't there.

Alex is increasingly unable to hold back his emotions. He looked at his mother but what he saw was Gayatri's face. Alex ran to his mother. Realizing that it wasn't Gayatri, Alex stabbed his mother. His father who tried to stop him did not escape Alex's anger. Alex did not hesitate to stab the father.

"Scream is not my story.. I even eliminated both my parents" Alex said with a laugh.

Yua just looked into Alex's eyes blankly. He can't defend Alex, because what Alex did was wrong.

"Cry.. I won't see" exclaimed Yua.

Alex laughed when he heard Yua ask him to cry.

"I'm a man and I'm not crying" Alex refused.

Yua knows how to feel abandoned by a loved one. He can also feel how Alex feels. Yua also knows if Alex actually wants to cry. But since Gayatri's death, he buried his feelings deeply.

Yua then hit Alex in the head so hard that Yucil was surprised. He took Yucil and they turned their backs on Alex. Yua asks Yucil to cover her ears as well. Yua closed her eyes and ears so tightly that she could make sure she didn't see and hear anything.

Moments later, Alex holds Yua's shoulder and smiles at her.

"Here you go, let's go down and eat something" Alex asked.

Yua then sighed. He was relieved to see Alex. Although he did not see and hear Alex crying but he knew that Alex was already crying. It was because his eyes were red and wet, while his voice was slightly hoarse.
