This is the happiness of all that Alex calls in the beginning. The happiness he felt when he was in that time leap was pseudo. Not real. Everything will end in the blink of an eye and return to the path of true destiny.

Alex's second request is to let him become a time prisoner. His decision sounded crazy. It's mad. The young man tried to explain what was going to happen but Alex took it for granted without a second thought.

The reason Alex chose to be a time prisoner was so that he could see Gayatri for the rest of the year he had. He also thought that Gayatri would be spared from the Malaria fever that would befall him in 1893. Alex believes with confidence that Gayatri's future will change because he has changed Gayatri's future by marrying her in 1890.

The young man was no longer able to change the mind of Alex who had been blinded by love. He also inevitably accepted Alex's second request.

Alex then continued the rest of his time with Gayatri.

The marriage from the beginning was difficult because Alex had shown the side effects of time jump, time rejection. But Gayatri's love does not fade and she does not feel as bothered as Alex imagined. Gayatri took good care of her husband and sincerely loved him. Although heavy, for them as long as it can always be together it does not matter.

Until finally the 39th day arrived.80% of his body could not be moved. His body was thin, his eyes pale and his body cold. Gayatri who was beside him was constantly crying. His mother and father were there too. Alex asks both of his parents to leave them. He then got out of bed and hugged Gayatri.

"I'm grateful to be able to find you again, I'm also glad you accepted me for the second time" Alex said.

Alex then felt dizzy unbearably. Gayatri quickly put her husband back in bed. Gayatri goes to the kitchen and brings Alex a glass of water. As he wanted to give the glass away, Alex grabbed his delicate hand.

"I'm sorry I didn't keep my promise to you. If I could have arrived quickly it wouldn't have happened. If I could take you away from that area you wouldn't get malaria... I'm sorry" Alex tearfully said, apologizing to Gayatri who Gayatri did not understand at all.

Suddenly time stopped. Alex sees Gayatri who is no longer moving like a statue and that is Alex's final moments with Gayatri.

The white-robed young man came from behind Alex's bedroom door. He intends to win Alex's first promise and according to their agreement, Alex will be a time prisoner. Since being a time prisoner is not allowed to be known by others, Alex is transferred to the place where the robed young man lives.

"Are you ready?" ask the young man.

Alex nodded his head while wiping his tears. Then he got out of his bed. Miraculously... His body no longer felt heavy and sick. It can even move freely.

Although he can freely move but not with his heart. His heart remained on Gayatri. Before leaving, he hugged his wife for the last time. He kissed his wife's forehead warmly as when he was about to go to work.

And lastly..... He put his wedding ring on the neck of Gayatri, his beloved wife. He hoped his ring would keep Gayatri from forgetting him and that he would take care of Gayatri forever.

The robed young man then took Alex with him through time. At once Alex's whereabouts began to disappear. There is no more Alex in the memory of those who knew him be it Gayatri, his parents to his friends.

The consequence of Alex's disappearance was that her other self-existence, who was on duty outside the city, also disappeared. There really isn't any Alex in the world anymore.

Their meeting place is a cafe in the city next door. Once there, the young man reassures Alex one last time.

"Do you really want to be here forever?" asked the young man worriedly.

"Originally I can meet Gayatri even if she doesn't recognize me, I'll stay" Alex said.

The young man placed his hand on Alex's head. As if slipping a spell, he put Alex to sleep. That's all he did so Alex didn't feel the pain of the rejection of time.

Day 40. Alex was still asleep under the young man's spell. Despite falling asleep, Alex's body feels tremendous pain because one by one his organs are no longer functioning. Alex fell asleep for a week.

When Alex opened his eyes, he was already a prisoner of time. The robed young man who saw Alex came to his senses then walked up to him.

There are a lot of rules that he will tell Alex. The important thing is that Alex must not tell others that he is a time prisoner except for the time jumpers. Alex was also given the task of guiding the time jumpers he would meet in the future.

"How's Gayatri doing?" ask Alex who was curious about his wife's condition after one week of sleep.

The young man looked at Alex with sharp eyes.

"As a time prisoner you should not dwell on the past including Gayatri, it will add to the burden of your life" the young man suggested.

Alex accepted what the young man said. But deep down, he still hoped that one day he would meet Gayatri.

"Uww.aaaa.... Severe buccinnn, it was only today that I saw someone as cute as you" led Yua with a high tone. You didn't think Alex was such a fool in love.

"Mom cin??" ask alex to wonder. Alex asks Yua to use the language she understands not to use slang words from the future.

Alex knew he was like that. But how else would the rice have become porridge. He can't even change his destiny anymore.

Just like when he found out that Gayatri was going to die in 1893. He was informed by the young man in the cloak that Gayatri had died of malaria. Knowing that made his determination to be a prisoner of time even fade.

Alex becomes frustrated, and he is unable to meet Gayatri after becoming a time prisoner. He tried his hardest to penetrate the space time in the cafe, but all his efforts failed. He'll be locked up in that cafe forever.

Alex even lived his life with feelings filled with regret. He regretted ignoring the advice of the time traveler. If he obeyed, he would be out there freely.

Time goes on, it doesn't feel like 10 years have passed. Alex is at the height of his stress. He did not want to accept the fact that nothing changed physically.

Alex tries to end his life by slashing his wrists, stabbing him in the stomach with a knife and hoisting himself on the roof. But none of that worked either.

The cloaked youth who had been observing him for 10 years then questioned his determination again. "Are you sorry now?" ask the young man.

"I regret it" Alex replied crying like a child.

Regrets don't come at the beginning. And so is Alex. Inevitably he had to accept his bitter fate, to this day he is before Joshua. Alex then reminds Yua not to fall into the same hole as herself because being a time prisoner means exchanging freedom for pseudo happiness.

...***...

"All right, that's all I can tell you" Alex said. "It's your turn!" continued.

Yua still seems dissatisfied. Something he wanted to ask. "Eeeeiiitttts.. There's a lot I want to know, I want it?" ask Yua while explaining her face.

Perhaps the story was too long and complicated for Yua to ask her a question, Alex pu allowed Yua to give her one question.

"I was confused... You call a young man a young man. That young man is a time traveler, right? do you know him? have you lived with them for hundreds of years? where is she now?" ask Yua tussling.

"Loh, is that all??" wonder Alex.

Alex was disappointed to hear Yua's question. He thought Yua would ask him her love story or how to survive. It turned out that Yua was only asking unimportant questions.

"I didn't have any acquaintances. He will not give his information to anyone else including us. I don't know where he is or where he is. He will come here when he wants. I last met him 15 years ago" Alex explained.

"Mmmm old is also 15 years... You must be lonely" whispered Yua who was not heard by Alex.

Yua then wanted to ask again, but he hesitated to say it. But Alex sees Yua's gurgle who seems still curious about something. Alex convinces Yua to just say what she wants to ask, even though she knows it's possible that Yua will ask silly questions again.

"Are you sorry?" asked Yua while lowering her head.

Alex just smiled and stroked Yua's head as He often did. He wanted Yua to not think about his feelings.

"You know, it turns out Gayatri got remarried in 1891. His fate changed slightly even though his death was inevitable. I just found out lately. Gayatri has a descendant from her marriage. My reason for staying here is to look after his descendants. That's my promise to Gayatri" Alex told me.

Yua who heard it became moved to hear how loyal Alex to Gayatri even he promised to take care of the descendants of Gayatri. The promise also signifies that Alex now no longer regrets his fate.

"Let's go now it's your turn." Alex asked.

"But I won't tell you as dramatic a story as yours" ledek Yua.

Yua then imitates Alex's way before telling the story. He took in his breath and slowly exhaled it. A story he never told anyone other than Alex.

The story begins when Yua sits in the 3rd grade of Junior High.
