Chapter.20 The Dark Relationship

When Darren was going home, Mr. Morgan called him.He asked Darren to go to his factory.In front of the factory already looks deserted,all the protesters were gone.Darren infiltrated through the back door that has been given direction by Mr. Morgan.

Darren settles so that no one sees him.In the factory looks someone who is chatting in the factory.Darren stands behind the wall to see and hear who is inside the factory.Darren see Margaret was at the factory with Andrew.

"The exact reason why everyone needs to be here protesting!"said Margaret.

"It's usually, maybe they want a raise" Andrew said.

"They should thank me for hiring useless humans like them!You see the more days my company is declining, plus everyone needs to protest like this!I'm gonna have to how's Andrew?"

"Actually I have a good idea for you Margaret?"

"What is Andrew?"

"Why don't you just sell this factory?"

"You mean?There's no way my husband would approve of her.This factory is the first time he's set up, where maybe he'll sell her!"

Darren is increasingly suspicious of hearing Andrew call Margaret by name alone.Darren feels they have an affair behind Mr. Morgan.

"Why are you keeping this almost bankrupt factory?!"

"I know but how could I possibly sell it, Morgan definitely wouldn't want to?"

"You have to seduce her, baby"

The sound of footsteps approached them, security went inside to inform Andrew and Margaret if Mr. Morgan had come.

"You guys here?"

"My husband, why are you here?What's up?"

"I heard that the workers went on strike to work this afternoon, they were protesting.What exactly is it?"

"Oh that's right, they went on strike because they wanted a raise.But their husband didn't know they should thank us for giving us jobs,and health insurance for them, but they're getting too outrageous to ask for a raise"

"Where do you know they're asking for a raise?"ask Mr. Morgan.

"E-e-e from Manager Adam"

"So you don't know?What do they want?"

"What do you mean, baby?"

"They demand their salary for 3 months that our company has not given them "

"How is it possible, all the financial salaries I see have been given why do they say they have not been paid?!Maybe they're lying!"

"Margaret, you asked me to focus on my current position as Mayor.I'll leave all these companies and factories to you but the matter of the salary of labor alone you don't know?"

"So you assume I'm not good at taking care of your company?!You're outrageous!!"said Margaret left Mr. Morgan.

Margaret leaves Mr. Morgan feeling blamed, andrew follows Margaret out of the factory.

"Excuse me sir" Andrew said.

"Take him home!"said Mr. Morgan.

Mr. Morgan was still inside the factory while looking around the factory room.Darren came out from hiding.

"Mr Morgan"

"Mr Pitter, since when are you here?"

"I'm sorry because I heard what you guys were talking about.Actually I just want to know what happened in this factory, but I saw your Wife and her aide who were inside here"

"Margaret?What do you know about them?"

"What does Mr. Morgan mean?"

"I know Margaret wanted me to sell this factory, because it's almost bankrupt.But it's this factory that made me what I am today"

"If you think this factory means a lot, can you fix all these problems?I know You're a Mayor, a leader in this city.But this factory is a memory where you can make money, even the current position.So just wake up like the beginning"

"You're right, Mr. Pitter, but how is it that the workers may not be working here anymore"

"Do you want to help me, Mr Pitter?"

"Of course"

Next Day.

Day to 4

Darren went to Mr. Morgan's office a little afternoon because he met Mr. Morgan to prepare the wages of the workers who will be paid today.Manager Adam was waiting for him at the door of the cleaner room.

"ih..ih...ih...again you are late!You leave as good as you can!"

"Sorry sir, I have business?"

"Rushan?You think this is your father's company!!From today you're fired!"

"Who are you?Fired me?"

"Mr Pitter?said Mr. Morgan.

"Sorry Mr Morgan, are you here?"adam said with a stutter.

"I'm looking for Mr. Pitter and you.Follow me!"replied Mr. Morgan with his cynical face.

Mr. Morgan, Darren and Manager Adam boarded the car to head to the Factory.

"Sir-why are we here?"said Adam.

The workers who marched back in front of the factory.They are still trying to ask for their rights that have not been given.Taun Morgan got out of his car, followed by Darren and Adam.

"Mr Morgan!!Pay our salary!! Our families are starving because you haven't paid us!"said the workers.

"Quiet..quiet.today your salary will be given" Darren said.

As soon as they were calmer, Manager Adam was so shocked and misbehaved.

"Why haven't they got their rights?"

"I-I don't know sir"

"How do you not know?Have I been assigned as a manager, in my company even in this factory?You used to be me because I trusted you so much I gave the task to take care of in the company and here.Why their salary has not been paid?"

"I-I-I really don't know"

"Adam I saw the finances of all workers have been paid, but they have not received it.Where is all the salary money that must be paid to them?"

"I'm sorry, sir...I'm sorry I was just told" Adam said, kneeling at Mr. Morgan's feet.

"What do you mean?"

"I was just told by someone to bankrupt all your businesses, forgive me Mr. Morgan "

"Adam who told you to?"

"I don't know"

"Where's all their paychecks?"

"Their salary I have used for my son's surgery sir, my son has cancer I have to have a lot of money to operate it, even the cost of care is so expensive.I have no other way, I have to,so I used the salaries of the laborers sir"

"Why did you do that, Adam?I believe in you so much, but why did you break my trust?All the laborers are starving because of their salaries, and what did you get to destroy my company?"

"He promised me he'd take my son for treatment abroad to find a great doctor to cure my son"

"I'm so disappointed in you Adam!"

Lord Morga left Adam kneeling on the floor,Darren asked the workers to go inside so that he could give their salaries that should be paid.Darren helped Mr. Morgan to provide the salaries of the workers.Darren saw Mr. Morgan who was so disappointed because of the people in his trust betray her so that the effort she has is destroyed.

Darren asked them to keep working in Mr. Morgan's factory.For a while Mr. Morgan gave Darren the power to supervise in the factory.Since Mr. Morgan has not yet gained a confidant any more.
