The silence of the night seemed to shackle me in such intense anxiety. Various threats from the mysterious voice were still being heard from outside the room.
Like falling iron, the impact of blunt objects on the wall, to the sound of the table being dragged very roughly from the living room.
But that made me turn away, when I heard the sound of murmuring that was sticking right beside me. I flicked the blanket, and turned towards Arif.
For a moment I was stunned to find his behavior very strange. With a supine position, he stuck out his arms as if trying to pull something from the ceiling of the room.
Uncomfortable with her attitude, I pulled her arm, "Ngapain, si, lu!" His eyes were wide open covering a face full of fear.
I wanted to scream, but I knew no one would hear it. We seemed to be cornered by a very strong negative aura, until this room felt stuffy and hot.
Brruuukkkk!! Bruuk!! Bruk!!
The door leaf that was tightly locked, shook violently, as if something had struck it from the outside.
Just this time I couldn't think clearly, wanting to feel like I was fooling myself with common sense, yet. The sobs of the woman's cries sounded very clear, making things even worse.
Not to mention Arif's body that was still acting strange, making me feel angry. If I had not known him, I would have covered his face with a pillow.
"Oi!! Awake it!!!" I patted his arm with emotion, in order to change the focus of his eyes that were always staring at the ceiling of the room, barely even blinking.
I gasped then sharpened this hearing, as a faint sound of a woman calling my name in a long and very subtle tone.
Dennniiii!!!
The deeeennii!!!
The voice that kept calling my name was getting closer. I could not imagine the figure of a woman who sometimes cried sobbing and now screams calling my name.
"Who?" my voice, full of doubt, "who ...!" I feel too stupid to ask that. The fact is there's no one else in this house, other than me and Arif.
Srreekk...
Once again a strange voice whispered back to my earlobe. Now the friction of a Lidi broom is clearly heard from the front yard. I don't know what they want.
I couldn't think of anything else, all I could do was cover my ears with both palms, hoping to ignore these very embarrassing voices.
***
Duugg..!! Dugg..!! Dugg..!!
Duugg..!! Dugg..!! Dugg..!!
The sound of a strong knock on the door of the room, sounded so disturbing, making me frown to two eyebrows.
"Mas ... Mas ..." loudly a man, he kept knocking on the door leaf of the room without stopping.
Duugg..!! Dugg..!! Dugg..!!
"Adohhh!—"I scratched an anxious head, "Yes! Aye! Wait ...."
I who began to realize glancing at the wall clock, it seems to have been six in the morning and it seems that the workers who have arrived at the Lodge house.
Duugg..!! Dugg..!! Dugg..!!
"Maas ...."
I'm addressing the blanket, "Yes, he's patient!" then get out of bed.
With dim eyes I opened the front door, and a burly man was standing firm with a welcoming smile.
"Sorry to interrupt, yes, Mas." said Mang Tohir, "because the gate was wide open when I came. I think I'm home, '" he continued.
Hearing what Mang Tohir said, reminded me that last night I forgot to re-lock the front gate.
"Mamang's getting home in a hurry!" it was me, and he laughed softly.
"He-he-he ... Sorry, Mas .... Yes, I'll excuse you first, want to continue working, Mas," said Mang Tohir.
Hearing that, Mang Tohir patted his forehead, and exclaimed, "Shut up! I forgot, Mom."
"Let's do the report, Mang. Let me tell Mr. Yudi," I said, checking my eyes.
Mang Tohir raised an arm and saluted towards me. "Ready! commander," he exclaimed, looking excited this morning. "I'll excuse you, Mas" he continued, then left.
I sighed and turned towards Arif who was still fast asleep, "Rif, Rif. It's morning, okay, come back?" I said, shaking Arif's shoulder to wake up.
"Hmm ..." riled Arif, just brushed off my arm.
"yeah! behind kaga?" added me, but ignored Arif who returned to sleep.
Given what happened to him last night, it is likely that Arif was so tired, for how many hours he pecked back to sleep. Maybe I should let Arif rest, until he's satisfied.
I immediately took the toiletries, and rushed to the toilet, to get ready to go to Arif's house in Gg. Chainlet.
"For Mas" said a worker sitting in the living room chair.
I returned her smile, "Copy first Mang .. let's go!" reply me, while closing the door from the outside.
"This is it, Mas," he answered, offering me a cup of coffee, "If I want to make it, Mas?"
"No need, Mang. I can make it myself, really" I also passed from the living room, to immediately go to the toilet.
"Yes, Mom!" I turned to Mang Tohir who was opening the side door. "Sir Yudi so don't send Sement today? You see, si, Enggko Material has been calling continuously," explained mang Tohir from the lip of the left door leading to the parking lot.
"Duh, if that's not even got the info from Mr. Yudi, Mang. I'll ask you again, please."
"okay, deh. Ready it! Mas ... Let me know later, will you, Mas?" mang Tohir continued, I only gave one thumb at him.
Maybe today I will be preoccupied by various kinds of affairs, considering the number of building materials that have begun to run out of stock. Not to mention, my sister who is about to visit here.I should not waste much time.
