Abandoned House (True Story)

Abandoned House (True Story)
True Story - Old House Part 1

2001 Was in June. I was in Bandung, living with my cousin Arif. In addition to our living together, we are also a college in one of SMK Negeri located in Bandung City, but I first completed my education.

Arif has a 32-year-old brother named Yudi.

Since childhood, Yudi lived with my family, and was raised by my mother to grow up. I don't know because of what it could happen, but according to my mother, her family did not want if Yudi contracted a similar disease, just like her first brother who was always sickly. (Deceased.)

Until the age of 17 years, Yudi wander with his friend to run the coal business—kini has changed his fate drastically—At that time where Yudi was at the peak of its glory, Yudi, even the house that I live with Arif was spelled out so magnificent like a palace that is often seen on TV series.

In this house, we were facilitated quite luxuriously and a little overboard to me. In the bottom garage, always standby, four new motorcycles, and three units of blue and white Honda Jezz cars that we are ready to use for everyday purposes.

Until one day Yudi has the ambition to build as many houses as possible, especially in areas that he thinks are suitable. What's more when he hears - if there is a land that is sold in large size at low prices, definitely abstain from going home before buying it.

"Make a lot of houses, if difficult can be sold or rented." More or less that's what he said with his winning laugh.

Until now he is building 6 houses at once located in Bandung, Sabi Banten, Pandeglang Banten, and Satu in Bogor.

But lately the weather in Bandung feels very stinging, covering all parts of the city that is experiencing dry season, even though usually this city feels very cool and cold.

Feeling the weather is less friendly, Arif and I prefer to spend free time lazing around in the house, as we are doing right now, I was on the third floor that almost resembled a Mini BAR.

Catar!! Brukkkk-Brukk-wht! ...

Billiard balls clashing against each other could be heard breaking the silence in the room. With a bent body, a sharp look at the end of the Stick, Arif pushed his white ball strongly.

"Where is your relationship with Nurul, Den?"

"What relationship? Neither does familiar."

"He's often asked about, you. And he wishes it were more the same, you."

"How many times do I have to say—gue has not been interested in the world of romance—stop being a Matchmaker!"

"It's okay, right."

"Everytime? This is the umpteenth time, Rif!"

"Commission ... You know why it's so hard to make a girl?"

"Gue doesn't like drama!"

Credits! ... cring! ...

"Oy, Tel. Tuh ...."

I was clucking lazily, wasting my breath. Approaching the phone incessantly yelled, on a blue Bludru Sofa, not far from Billiard's desk.

I clenched my teeth, when I saw the number not on the channel. "Cih, who the hell." I riled up, pressing the button in a frenzy. "Hallo!" A little loud.

"Groof very, Den. It's Babang ... " ('Bang' calls from 'Babang' which means the same as 'Silver'.)

I was surprised, almost choking on my own saliva. It turned out that call was from Bang Yudi.

"Yeah, Bang. Deni guess who ...."

"Den, Babang again on the road, maybe four hours Babang got there, you guys immediately get ready we go home today," continued Bang Yudi, sounding quiet around him, he said, maybe he was in the car.

"Bang's home?" I parroted, gawking at her words. "That's a very impromptu tumben."

"Babang wants to buy a house in the Lodge area, Den."

"Loji, Bang?" I furrowed both eyebrows, only feeling familiar with the name.

"You get ready soon" said Bang Yudi. "The branch is coming soon" he continued, closing our conversation.

I looked towards Arif who was still playing Billiard.

"Rif, it's like you're not your soul mate Anis" I said, with a wry smile.

Arif said quickly, "You mean?"

"We were told to go back" I cried, making Arif turn his head quickly. "Babang wants to buy another house," I added, then leaned on the side of Billiard's desk, still with the phone I held.

"Gue, I promised to go to her house" riled Arif, knocking hard Stick Billiard to the floor. "About! people are never satisfied buying a house!"

That's how Arif, sometimes he forgets everything that Bang Yudi has given him, tends to be big head and feels to have everything. Because of the lazy and arrogant nature that makes his education always choked.

"Should you be grateful, maybe the business is good again" I said, shaking his head faintly.

Seeing that it was almost four o'clock in the afternoon, I left this pleasant room, to hurry to prepare myself.

"Where'd Den go?" greet Arif, seeing me walking to get out of the room.

"Well you get ready Rif, Babang will arrive again," I brief, open the glass door, and pass.

We have to be quick, because Bang Yudi is not a typical patient person, can not keep up with the time when with him, it will make the situation grumpy, make a mess of the atmosphere.

It is very different when compared to Arif, who prefers to waste time, never serious in dealing with problems, maybe because his life is too spoiled by material things.

How many minutes, after I finished preparing, faintly heard a mobik kelakson from the front of the house.

Beep-beep! ...

I peeked out of the window in my room, and I saw a car entering the parking lot slowly.

Realizing Yudi had arrived, I immediately grabbed the Sling Bag lying on the mattress and rushed out of the room, but I took the time to stop in front of Arif's room which was still tightly closed.

"Rif, Babang is downstairs," I cried, after knocking on his door, but there was no answer from him.

With a sling bag running across the *Sweater *red velvet, slightly conical black levis pants at the ankles, and the white striped black shoes I always use travel. Now I'm ready to go home.

Wwuussis...!

Instantly the door opened felt hot air mixed with dust hit my face, how many days it has been, in Bandung not rained, rain, no wonder the house is not far from the highway will get a gift in the form of dust in the dry season.

Bang Yudi was standing at the side of his car door, as if he was about to catch up with us inside.

He looks like an office person today, wearing a plain blue shirt that covers his plump body, joined by black trousers, in harmony with his brown shoes that tipped a shiny box. He just stood beside the car door staring at me who was walking towards him.

"Again ready Bang, a moment again settled. Maybe," I replied, who had just arrived at the back of the car.

"Come in the Den," in short, then get back in the car.

"Bang, where's the lodge?" I asked, after closing the car door, and sitting in the front seat, "No housing, yes."

Because I know, in the area is still rarely home, even spelled out there are still many lush trees and vacant land that is not clear who the manager— is more suitable to be called forest.

At first glance Yudi raised his chin and turned towards me with eyes still fixed on his cellphone screen.

"Loji Den, there is one main house," I furrowed my eyebrows at his words, "The land is wide, suitable for being a Villa," he continued, not representing my question.

This is how talking to Bang Yudi, never details, but we are forced to understand, it is all caused by his five mobile phones, which are constantly screaming.

Until my attention was attracted by the sound of the car door opening, accompanied by Arif who stepped in, then sat in the back seat.

"Sorry, lama. The nyari of the watch forgets the naruh," he said, grinning the horse.

The cynical lyrics lead to him, before bang Yudi said, "It's hard to be invited to hunt!" he then put his cellphone on the dashboard and turned on the car engine.

Avoiding Death Time while on the road, I put Earphones in both my ears, and leaned the calluses on the curry to find a position as comfortable as possible, because I knew this trip would take a lot of time. Not to mention if the road is completely jammed will certainly feel more torturous.

***

At approximately 19:00, we just came out of the door of the Ciawi Toll, almost two hours we were on the way, making my waist feel crumpled. I saw Arif was busy with his cell phone, and Yudi was still focused on driving, although he occasionally muttered as a result of the crowded road situation.

"Den, invite other friends, let it be more exciting ... itung-itung to accompany you in the new house later," said bang Yudi glanced a moment at me.

"Ready ... Bang," I exclaimed, then looked back and lowered my eyebrows.

Realizing that, Arif's facial expression turned mesem, and then said, "What?"

"Telp the other one, forget the pulse, Euy." Arif lowered his lips and nodded faintly.

It did not feel like almost two hours had passed, after we managed to get out of a fairly severe traffic jam, and now I feel our vehicle seems to shake when crossing a road that is still in the form of bumpy land. Visibility is very limited, because there are no lights that illuminate the shoulder of the road, the only light is only sourced from the lights of the car we drive.

My eyes are not stopping around looking at the situation of the road. Either the feeling of fear or because it is still unfamiliar with this place, but I feel uncomfortable seeing the surrounding scenery that seems creepy.

Looks lined up, large trees and dense leaves look so gripping. Not to mention, not to mention,

weeds and weeds that squeezed the lips of the road, only a few houses were visible, it was not far from the intersection of the highway.

The deeper, the more lonely and quiet, until finally the car pulled over, I turned to the right, looked at one house that looked very worn, and, even the precarious on the front is not neatly arranged anymore, like it will fall. The transverse black iron fence restricts the perkarangan house filled with unkempt wild plants.

But on the right side is seen another house, which has a white paint fenced in iron and walls that surround every corner. The house was very dark without any light. Plus three large trees that stand among the lush shrubs that fill the yard. Whether the house is inhabited or not.

Stroke on the closed car door, covering Yudi who had been outside the car, I immediately removed the seat belt that ran across my chest to catch up with him.

Wussss! ...

Instantly felt the gust of night wind that hit my face, my butterflies felt buzzing representing a quiet atmosphere, there was only the sound of tree branches rubbing against each other by the tight night wind.

I glanced at the watch, it was only 8pm, but here it was very quiet, not even a human nose that passed along the way.

Arif who was following us was standing right on my right side,

"The place is rich gini? not wrong with choosing a home?" cetus Arif, with eyes glaring around.

"Liat dong land, steady," replied Yudi, confidently.

Not wanting to waste a long time, we started walking closer to the rusty, weathered gate inedible age.

Drakk-drakk-riq ...

Yudi knocked strongly on the fence—using his car keys, saw the distance from the door of the house to where we stood quite far enough.

We waited here for a long time, until finally the sound of a key blow was heard, accompanied by the sound of the door squeaking slowly open. The door looks old and stylish typical Blanda divided into two sides.

Samar looks like someone who is walking to memorize us with teetering. The pace was very slow, visible from the way he dragged his footwear with the help of a stick. His body was bent, hair completely white, the curves of his Smile were almost faded by the withered wrinkles on his face. The grandmother, wearing a typical Javanese kebaya brown, floral pattern. He may be over 78 years old.

The look on his face grinned, as he arrived behind the fence and glanced at us one by one, "Sorry Jang, long wait," he said, in a wavy soft tone, "Maclum Jang, grandma can't be agile anymore," he continued, then laughed chuckling, he tried to unbind the mine that was wrapped around the fence.

Worried that she would not hold back this iron fence, I swiftly held her back, "Already, let me just Nek."

the Grandmother nodded her head in silence, and smiled at me, "Nuhun Jang," said the Grandmother.if it is interpreted: (Thank you, son.)

Immediately I shifted the fence carefully, because the condition was already very fragile and rusty.

"Mom, has Andre arrived yet?" tanya Yudi who began to slip between the gap of the fence that had been slightly opened.

"From the morning Grandma hasn't seen him, Jang" he said, letting us in. "Yesterday night he said that someone would come."

Me and Arif walked parallel, behind Yudi and Grandma. But I see Arif's face looks restless, he does not stop glancing around the location. I don't know what he feels, but from his attitude it makes me even more uncomfortable.

Intrigued by Arif's strange behavior, I stuck out my head— closer to his ear, "Ssttt, Rif," I whispered, making Arif look surprised at me, "Why?"

"Bikin was shocked, you .. "great Arif and flicked one arm, "N-no .. "kilah Arif, although I know that is not the right answer.
