Itachi followed the 5 Profound Sky Realm practitioners towards the dragon while keeping a safe distance and making it seem like he was only a level 5 Profound Realm practitioner.

Hearing the system give the mission and seeing the reward made Itachi smile. The previous plan to avoid the battle and take the treasures was now out of the window. But this change of plans did make it more interesting. This was an opportunity for Itachi to really test his abilities against stronger opponents.
"Jasmine there's been a change of plans. The system just issued a mission for me. I have to kill that dragon now. Whatever happens stay within the Sky Poison Pearl. If everything really goes south then I'll get out of there I still have a way to escape so don't worry about anything and enjoy the show." Itachi said to Jasmine.
Hearing Itachi suddenly change plans to fight the dragon made Jasmine a little worried but given that she still had all that strange power, she decided to trust him.
"All right, I'm gonna believe you. But don't you dare die against that lizard that grew too big. This princess requires you to keep making her sweet. And if you die, help me, I will meet King Yama myself and drag you back. You will never be able to escape from making this Princess his sweetness." Jasmine said to Itachi for some encouragement and simultaneously threatened him if he failed.
Hearing Jasmine's encouragement and threat brought a smile to Itachi's face. He knew that Jasmine had really grown inside him.

Seeing his status Itachi was glad he made much progress during these four months.
As Itachi continued to follow the four practitioners, he saw them slowing down, which meant they were getting closer to the dragon nest.
"We're being followed."
"It was just a brat from the Basic Realm. He might be amazed to see our Profound Floating Technique. Maybe I should just kill him here. It's starting to piss me off."
"Where is your pride. Why should we Sky Profound Realm practitioners bother with some Basic Realm brats. We have more important things to do than some Basic Nature brats. Other than the Profound Beast here would probably kill him."
Fen Moli was an elder of the Burning Heaven Clan. One of the four main sects of the Blue Wind Empire. Fen Moli came here today with four elders to capture and kill the true dragons living in the Red Dragon Mountains.
As they approached the cave, they sensed the dragon. The dragon also sensed the five elders of the Burning Heaven Clan approaching and came out to 'welcome' them.
"DIRTY MAN. DARE YOU SURRENDER THIS GREAT TERRITORY. THIS BIG ONE WILL HAVE YOUR HEAD." The dragon shouted to the five Elders of the Burning Heaven Clan.
The dragon immediately came out of the cave and began to involve the five elders of the Burning Heaven Clan in battle.
While the dragon was fighting with the five Elders of the Burning Heaven Clan. Itachi completely hid his Profound power for others to feel. He quickly used the tree and the Body Flicker jutsu to get to the cave.
Once Itachi was in the cave, he immediately went to work looking for the Evil God Fire Seed and Fire Spirit Grass. Upon entering the cave Itachi was greeted with a field of Spirit Fire Grass. He summoned 8 shadow clones to obtain the Fire Spirit Grass and he himself went in search of the Evil God Fire Seed. After a few minutes he found the Evil God Fire Seed and left it there because the dragon had stuck a trail of Fire Dragons on it to warn him if touched by someone. Instead Itachi quickly placed the Flying Raijin sign right next to the Evil God Fire Seed to retrieve it later.
Seeing his clone finished harvesting the Fire Spirit Grass, Itachi dispersed them all and began to wait for the dragon to frighten those Burning Heaven Clan elders.
To gain a small advantage in the battle against the dragons, the, he started spreading his kunai and secret weapons where the Fire Spirit Grass was located and used the Transformation jutsu on them to make them look like Fire Spirit Grass. After that Itachi immediately hid himself by sticking to the ceiling of the cave and waiting for the dragon to come.
After a few minutes, the dragon began to use its original strength and unleashed the power of the Emperor Profound Realm against the Burning Heaven Clan elders.
"Cannot be. How can it be so strong!!"
"We're fooled!! It hid its true strength!!"
"Intel wrong!! Back off!!! Back off!!!" Shouted Fen Moli towards the other Burning Heaven Clan elders.
"MAN PUNY!! YOU WON'T FORGET THIS GREAT ONE!!" The dragon shouted at the elders of the Burning Heaven Clan.
While the elders of the Burning Heaven Clan tried to retreat, the dragon quickly chased after them. In the end two elders of the Burning Heaven Clan were killed after Fen Moli decided to use it as bait for the dragon so that he could escape. After the dragon killed the two elders, Fen Moli and the other two elders managed to escape with some injuries but nothing serious.
After the dragon killed the two elders, he returned to his cave. Entering his cave and 'seeing' that everything was still as it should be, he rested again without realizing that Itachi was right above him and observed him.
'Well, everything is in its place. Now let's wait for the dragon to rest and attack him suddenly.' Itachi thought to himself
Waiting for an hour until the dragon fell asleep Itachi could feel that the dragon was sleeping and unaware of its surroundings.
'The dragon is asleep now. I only had one chance and I had to make full use of my surprise attack. If I use Yamato at full strength and with his guard completely down, I can make a deep incision. Where should I cut it?

Itachi thought to himself as he made a battle plan to fight the dragon.
It maneuvered carefully across the ceiling to get right above the dragon Itachi into position.
'Three.....Two.....One.....GO!!'' GO!!!'
Itachi immediately used the Body Flicker jutsu to get right on top of the dragon. Itachi then quickly took out Yamato and exerted all his strength to make this one piece. Using Yamato at full strength Itachi managed to make a very deep incision at the base of the right wing paralyzing him and eliminating the dragon's ability to use its right wing.
ROOOOOOO!!!!!
Hearing Itachi's dragon roar using the Flying Raijin jutsu to teleport to the Evil God Fire Seed and quickly put it into inventory.
Feeling that his wings were about to break off and after the feeling that someone touched his treasure, the dragon was furious. The fact that someone would sneak into his lair, attack him and take his treasure made the dragon even more furious than before. Looking at the place where the Evil God Fire Seed was located, the dragon saw a human standing there.
"YOU FILTHY HUMAN INSECTS!!! YOU DARE TO ATTACK THIS GREAT ONE AND TAKE HIS TREASURE!!!
THIS GREAT ONE WILL CRUSH YOUR BONES INTO DUST!!!" The angry dragon roared towards Itachi.
Seeing that his plan worked perfectly made Itachi smile. Looking at the angry dragon, Itachi knew that the difficult part had yet to come.
Thinking of the rest of Itachi's battle began to make his plans.
'Now that the dragon was on guard, its scales would be strengthened with Profound Energy so that the second cut with Yamato would not work. What could work was for Haki to insert a Tremor punch to cause a bit of internal damage each time and continue hitting it with a punch. I have the advantage in speed so I have to keep moving and punch him.' Itachi thought inwardly while observing the dragon.
The dragon began to swipe its claws at Itachi. Itachi used his Body Flicker jutsu to continue avoiding friction and waiting for gaps. Flashing onto Itachi's Fire Spirit Grass turned them back into kunai and secret weapons. Using a ninja wire attached to him, he threw it into the dragon's face. The dragon saw the kunai and the shuriken coming to his face only closing his eyes and directly attacking Itachi with his mouth open ready to eat him. Seeing the dragon open its mouth, Itachi threw the kunai with a paper bomb attached to its mouth to the dragon's mouth. The dragon ignored the kunai stuck to its mouth and continued to attack Itachi. Itachi quickly dodged and took his distance from the dragon and detonated a paper bomb.
*HOOOMMM!!!*
After the paper bomb exploded in the dragon's mouth, blood started to pour out from its mouth. Due to the great power of the dragon, the paper bomb only caused some minor damage to its mouth.
"OAHHHHHHH!!!!! YOU FILTY BUG!!! THIS GREAT ONE WILL BREAK YOU!!!"
As soon as the smoke disappeared Itachi appeared right next to the dragon's right eye and swiped it with Yamato damaging the eye and causing it to bleed. The dragon swiped his head to the right to hit Itachi but he was already away. Taking some distance Itachi summoned three great secret weapons and threw them at the dragon's head. The dragon saw this shuriken coming in his head avoiding them. Itachi then pulled the ninja wire attached to the secret weapon and pulled it back onto the dragon's head. Just before the secret weapon hit the dragon, they turned into three shadow clones.
The three shadow clones immediately threw Haki's impregnated Tremor punch at the dragon's head with all their might.
*BAMMMM!!!*
After the three shadow clones hit the dragon's head in full force with their Haki-infused Tremors, they dispersed. The dragon head was hit to the floor of the cave and started to feel dizzy after the blow to his head. Using this opportunity Itachi immediately approached and thrust Yamato into the dragon's left eye. Itachi immediately blinked away but not before placing the Flying Raijin mark on the dragon's head.
"OOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!"
" YOU FILTHY INSECT!!!!! THIS GREAT ONE WILL GET YOU!!!"
The truly enraged dragon started thrashing wildly and spewing flames everywhere hoping to kill him. Itachi took a long distance from the dragon and took out the senzu beans as he ran out of energy. The dragon began to use his other senses to find Itachi. Using this opportunity Itachi summoned a shadow clone and sent it directly to the dragon. The dragon who sensed that Itachi was coming swiped its claws at him and managed to grab him.
"YOU ARE NOW A DIRTY INSECT!!!!"
After grabbing the shadow clone, the dragon quickly tried to devour it. But just before he could insert the shadow clone into his mouth, he heard something.
AMATERASU
The shadow clones after being captured by the dragon and seeing that it wants to devour it, activate the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan and use Amaterasu to light the dragon's mouth with black fire. After that disband.
The dragon that felt its mouth burning by some strange fire started thrashing around in hopes of extinguishing it. Seeing that he could not put out the fire in his mouth, he began to use his own fire in hopes of eliminating the other flames in his mouth. Instead of getting rid of the strange flame, the strange flame began to devour its own flames and move further into the dragon. Feeling the inside burn, the dragon quickly lost its power until it was injured and died shortly afterwards.
After the dragon died, Itachi quickly extinguished Amaterasu to preserve as many of the dragons as possible.
(AN: for those who do not know. Itachi was able to extinguish Amaterasu's fire he just couldn't form a fire like Sasuke Uchiha could.)
