The New Moon Profound Palace

Seeing Lan Xueruo aka Cang Yue on the other side of the courtyard Itachi decided to play the role of a new student and went to her to ask some questions. Walking towards him, he could see that he was accompanied by another man. It was most likely Murong Ye, the man who was trying desperately to impress Cang Yue and make her fall in love with him just because nothing worked. Actually he thought of Murong Ye as a annoying guy but because of his sweet personality, he couldn't force himself to tell her that and it just so happened that he kept following her wherever she went.

Cang Yue looked around the courtyard because she was bored. He had come to the New Moon Profound Palace in search of geniuses who would help the imperial family win the Blue Wind Ranking Tournament. So far he had been unlucky in finding anyone, but instead was constantly followed by Murong Ye who would use his position as the son of the governor of New Moon City to prevent the male students from approaching Cang Yue.

Looking around his eyes fell on the most mysterious man. This person was wearing a huge black coat with red clouds imprinted on it, clothes he had never seen before. Looking at his face, he saw that he had a long black shoulder-length hair tied into one ponytail with a bangs on the side of his head. Deep black eyes that look like they will stare directly into your soul with two diagonal tear basins under their eyes. Looking at her she suddenly felt her face become warmer. He felt his heart beating faster and he felt butterflies in his stomach. Looking at this mysterious man, he knew it. She fell in love with him at first sight.

Looking at him, he locked eyes with her. He gave her a smile and a small nod. Seeing him smile at her, Cang Yue blushed and quickly turned around not daring to look him in the eyes. Murong Ye noticed this looking at where Cang Yue was looking and saw that she was looking at a man she had never seen and saw that Cang Yue was blushing like a girl in love, she said, he's very angry. Lan Xueruo should have looked at him like that, but she instead saw the others like that. Seeing the man coming to them made him even more angry but gave a good chance to humiliate him and put him in his place.

"Excuse me. I'm sorry to bother you, but I'm new here and would like to ask if you can help me. Do you know someone who can give me a tour of this place?" Itachi asked Cang Yue.

"I can give you a tour of this place. I will be happy to help my fellow students on their first day." Cang Yue said to Itachi.

"Thank you very much for your help. Sorry I forgot to introduce myself first. My name is Itachi Uchiha. Nice to meet you and thank you once again for your help." Itachi said to Cang Yue with a smile and a small bow.

Seeing Itachi smile at him, Cang Yue started to blush even more but was still able to hold back.

"It is with pleasure that my name is Lan Xueruo. Itachi Uchiha, that's not a name you hear so often."

"Yes, I hear it often. I am not from the Blue Wind Empire. I came from a village very far away from here and I doubt you've heard of it before. I come from a village called Konohagakure. I'm really doubtful you've heard of it." Itachi said to Cang Yue.

"Konohagakuren. I've never heard of this village before. Can you tell me something about your home village. I've never been out of the Blue Wind Empire and I'd really like to hear stories from outside the Empire." Said Cang Yue to Itachi who was increasingly curious about Itachi's hometown.

As Cang Yue gave Itachi a tour around the New Moon Profound Palace, Itachi told him about Konahagakure and the land around him. He tells her how he came from one of the two clans, the Uchiha clan, who had founded Konaha with the Senju clan and how his first leader, first hokage Hashirama Senju, was, was a leader that everyone in the village even to this day looked up to with great respect and admiration. Itachi told him how the first hogake was a leader with incredible strength but never arrogance. How he became the sword and shield of the village and conveyed his philosophy of life to the people of Konaha called the 'Will of Fire'. Itachi told him how the first Hokage was a man he admired and wanted to be like him. To be extraordinarily strong and protect the people he cares for.

Listening to Itachi's story was very inspiring for him. Listening to Hashirama Senju's story and how he fought for the village and his people inspired Cang Yue himself. He also wants to be strong and protect the people he cares about. Listening to Itachi's story gave him the inspiration to become stronger and protect the people he loved. While Itachi and Cang Yue were walking around and talking to each other, Murong Ye had been following them the entire time while still stopping.

After Cang Yue gave Itachi a tour around the New Moon Profound Palace, she bid him farewell. She had to go to class and tell him that she would love to hear more stories about her home village next time. Just as Itachi was about to leave, suddenly his shoulder was gripped. Turning around he saw Murong Ye glaring at him.

"Can I help you?" Itachi asked Murong Ye with great disinterest.

"Your name is Itachi Uchiha, right? Little junior Uchiha, although I don't know what method you used to sneak into our New Moon Profound Palace, but as your senior, there are some things I need to remind you of. Since you have just entered the New Moon Profound Palace, you must obediently learn what you should do, and what you should not do, don't let you blame me later for not reminding you after you've suffered the consequences. Also, remember this for I will only say it once, stay away from Lan Xueruo next; the further the better. If I see you talking to him like that again. Then you must not blame me for suffering the consequences. Hmph." Murong Ye told Itachi while tightening his grip on itachi's shoulder.

"Are we having a little trouble moving." Itachi said to Murong Ye while showing his right index finger where a very thin white rope was visible.

"What did you do to me!! What rope is on your finger!! Why can't I move my body!!" Murong Ye shouted at Itachi while the latter continued to stare at him emotionlessly. Instead, he moved his finger upwards clearly showing the path that the rope had taken and he saw that it ended up behind his neck.

"You saw this little rope coming out of my finger. With this little rope I'm taking over your body." Itachi said to Murong Ye who frankly did not want to believe him and struggled with all his might to regain control of his body but to no avail.

"You..... Ye.... Let go of me right now!! Or I will make your life here like hell!! Do you know who I am!! My father is the governor of New Moon City, I can make you suffer like never before!!" Murong Ye shouted at Itachi who had just moved his finger and Murong Ye's body started moving on its own.

"Sure, go ahead. Make me suffer. In the meantime, I'll let you walk around New Moon City stark naked and let you walk up to the young girls and destroy your reputation beyond any safety. How will you make me suffer? You'll never see it coming, you'll never hear it coming, you'll never feel it coming until late at night and your body is completely under my control. What are you going to do then." Itachi said to Muron Ye who started to look even more frightened.

"So let me explain this to you. Retreat from Lan Xueruo. The further away, the better. And unlike your empty threat to make me suffer, I promise I'll make you suffer." Itachi said to Murong Ye as he looked into his eyes while transforming his possessions into the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.

Seeing his eyes change again, Murong Ye was attacked with an overwhelming fear unlike anything he had felt before and knew that this person was bad news. He knew that this person did not make empty threats and that he had no chance against him in a fight. Seeing himself leaving with no other choice, he decided to retreat for now but he would keep an eye on Itachi and look for weaknesses to exploit and maybe use them against him or make him work for him. After being released from Itachi's control, Murong Ye walked away occasionally while glaring at Itachi.

Walking around the New Moon Profound Palace, he enjoyed the peace and stopped from it. Other than the fact that there were no more ferocious beasts bothering him, he could sleep in a nice comfortable bed and enjoy the next few days until the banquet started. He could get to know Cang Yue better and at the same time help her by keeping Murong Ye away from her.

"Have you just used that rope to control his body? I saw the rope connected to his neck, but how did you do it?" Jasmine asked Itachi curiously.

"By connecting a piece of rope to his spinal cord at the base of his skull, I hijacked his body. By sending a small amount of profound energy through the rope, his body moved as I wished. This is a very useful technique when dealing with people like him. But it was not perfect and someone much stronger could forcefully remove that rope and take back control of their body. This is a technique I gave to those weaker than me to scare them and save me from a lot of trouble."

"The technique is quite useful as you say. But you have to be careful that if the wrong people find out about this power of yours, they will try to recruit you and if they can't have you, they will hunt you down. And I'm not just talking about the strength of that rope. If the wrong person finds out about your eyes, I'm sure it will be worth more than the greatest treasure in this world. Please be careful Itachi" Jasmine said

"Don't worry Jasmine. I was more than aware that my powers would be highly sought if one were to discover about my powers."

The next few days were very quiet for Itachi. He managed to get a restroom in the New Moon Profound Palace and he would wake up every day in the morning. After making breakfast for herself and Jasmine, she would go to class and just hang out. After class he would spend a lot of time with Cang Yue and hang out with her. He would tell his story about Konoha and the Uchiha clan and Cang Yue would always listen to his story and ask many questions about Konoha and especially about the first Hokage, Hashirama Senju. Wandering around Cang Yue last week Itachi realized that his mood was better since Murong Ye started avoiding Itachi and Cang Yue. Wandering around the New Moon Profound Palace last week Itachi quickly discovered that he, like Sasuke, had begun collecting many fangirls.

Just like that a week has passed and the banquet will start tomorrow night. At this banquet he would show the other sects that he was much stronger than their disciples and win back the honor of the New Moon Profound Palace.
