ALDEBY
|4.| We Break Up

..."You're just an unfinished person with his past and need an impingement."...

...***...

"So, this is why you've been avoiding me all this time, Ar?"

Up ahead, Arka and a nurse who had been following him appeared to take a position at one of the cafeteria tables. From what Beby saw, it seemed like they were resting.

Beby stayed in place. Witnessing the unusual intimacy between the boyfriend and other women, as well as trying to neutralize the sense of tightness that began to eat away at the niches of his heart. As hard as Beby tried, his eyes were still hot. Soon enough, the clear liquid that had originally gathered in the eye fertilizers, spilled out.

Beby's gaze turned on the sweet martabak in his grasp. The girl sighed for a moment, then rubbed a trace of tears on her cheeks. The next two seconds, Beby made a step towards the table where Arka was.

"Arka," called Beby, making the two who were sitting opposite him there compactly focus the eyeballs towards him.

"Beby?" Seeing who was coming, Arka moved from a sitting position.

It was obvious the tension emanated from Arka's gaze as soon as her bead eyes cluttered with Beby's. The reason is, the girl always gives news first if she intends to meet him. And of course, Arka mustered a thousand and one reasons to undo Beby's intentions.

"Who is he, honey?" ask the nurse who was standing in front of Beby.

The darling?

Both of Beby's eyeballs stared at the late-goal Arch, asking for an explanation non-verbally. So, is this the busyness that Arka meant all this time?

"He ... " Arka looked at Beby and the white-clothed girl before him in turns. "He ... temen me."

"Oh .. friend." The nurse held out a hand to Beby. "I know, I'm the Princess, Arka's boyfriend."

Once again, Beby felt like there was a sharp little dagger piercing right at his heart. The oxygen that supplies the lungs suddenly disappears. The walls of the room where Beby stood as if to snatch away the rest of his strength.

It feels ... it hurts so much.

Beby closed his eyes for a moment, begging his tears not to spill now. When Beby re-opened his eyes, both corners of his lips reviewed the wide smile—which can be ascertained his falsehood.

"Beby," said Beby, replying to the hand of the Princess.

"Gapain come here?" ask Arka.

Again, Beby gave a big smile that made his heart crumble. Beby's hand holding the bag of crackles was raised to the level of his face. "Just give me this." Beby's gaze turned on the two dishes of fried rice on the table. "But, like, you've eaten. So, I'll bring it back, okay?"

Without further ado, Beby hurriedly sauntered from before Arka and the Princess. However, there was not a single step Beby left the place, the Princess asked, "Aren't you going to eat with us?"

If Beby returns to his voice, it is certain that the defense he has built up will soon collapse. Therefore, Beby only answered with a short skirt and a thin smile. Before really getting out of place, Beby's eyeballs had a chance to meet with Arka's.

But, if it was like this, what else could Beby do other than leave?

Wailing before the Ark which had clearly turned away from him? Just be right! Beby's brain is still very sane.

The further Beby stepped, the more tears seeped into his cheeks. All this time, not once did Beby not try to understand Arka with all his busyness. But it turns out, Beby's decision to survive was just a folly.

Beby's hand reached for the car door, but another hand stopped his movement.

As Beby turned his head, his sense of sight caught Arka's figure wrapped in a moss-green shirt. Looking at Arka's face, Beby's tears that had not dried up, now came back rushing.

Beby can't pretend anymore.

"I can clear it," said Arka as she grabbed another hand of Beby.

Beby intended to pull off the grip of Arka's hand, but the man did not allow Beby's intention to be realized.

"Detach," insisted Beby.

"I was horrified."

"Deliver!"

Arka knows—very—that what just happened is so heartbreaking the girl before her. It was evident by the pain-filled gaze that emanated from Beby's bead of eyes. Therefore, Arka gave up. He took off his hand on Beby's wrist.

"Hold me first, huh? I can clear everything, "please Arka.

Beby let out a discordant laugh, accompanied by tears that continued to flow from his sense of sight. "Haha. Clearly what? Clearly if your busyness all this time is because of cheating? Is it clear that the Princess is the reason you keep avoiding me?"

"No, By. It's not that."

Arka's hand again grabbed the girl's wrist in front of her, but Beby was more alert to brush off Arka's touch.

"Keep what, Ar?!" Instead of shouting angrily, Beby's voice sounded raucous and pitiful. "If you don't love me, why don't you just break up? Why should there be a third? Ye know? It hurts, Ar!"

"The daughter is not a third person!" argue Arka.

"Oh, huh?" Again, Beby laughed. "Continue what? What do you call a girl in the middle of someone else's relationship? The actor?"

"Babys!" The impact was increasingly felt to squeeze the respiratory tract Beby, making it feel will fall at that time. "Enough! Can you not catch me first? Once a time!"

"What else, Ar?! What else do I need to hear from your mouth after all this? What?!"

Without saying anything, Arka grabbed Beby's body. Of course the girl tried hard to dodge, but Beby's draining emotions made him end up resigned.

Instead of subsiding, the rain that soaked Beby's cheeks as the black clouds in his unstoppable heart grew more and more intense.

"Detach," Beby's pinta with a quivering voice.

"No," Arka argued. "I'm not going to leave."

Beby took a deep breath, then exhaled it in three counts. He gathered the rest of his energy in himself to be free from the arms of Arka. When he felt himself strong enough, Beby pushed Arka's shoulder with both hands clenched.

But in fact, Arka refused to give up. The man again took a step closer to grabbing Beby.

"Stop!" cry Beby as Arka takes the first step.

Disappointed, sad, fed up, claustrophobic, all that feeling is like the wind****** a pickaxe that ravages Beby's heart. Accept it or not, in fact he no longer reigns in his heart.

"I love you, By," said Arka, making both Beby's ears hot.

"STOP!" This time, Beby shouted. "You didn't even acknowledge me as your girlfriend in front of the Princess. How dare you say love? What kind of man are you, Arka? Huh uh?!"

The distance that originally left three steps, finally Arka kikis as well. He did not care if Beby stabbed even a dagger at him. Arka just wanted to look at Beby's face closer.

"The princess was my first love" said Arka. "And you .. I love you, By."

"But you still love the Princess?" circus Beby. The girl placed emphasis on the word 'still'. "Yes, right?!"

"I ...."

Checkmate! It has been a defense sentence that Arka is ready to launch.

"Keep, you want me to have the Princess?" Beby laughed. "Crazy!"

"Not gotu—"

Beby raised his palm right in front of Arka, signaling that he no longer wanted to hear a single word from the man's mouth.

"Funny yes, Ar." Beby laughed bitterly. "Two years ago, we met at this hospital. You who that night should have gone home, even chose to make me, invite me to talk, listen to my stories. You even gave me motivational sentences that until now are still clear in my memory.

"Because of that, I'm talking to you. I thought you were the one God sent to make me recover from the crash. But it turns out I was wrong. You're just an unfinished person with his past and need an impingement."

The words slid like a stream with a very fast flow of water. Striking right into the heart of Arka who can no longer speak.

Arka's lips were already open, ready to launch words that she hoped would calm Beby down. But the girl returned to voice.

"And damn it, I'm the victim of your impingement."

Honestly, Beby was eager to finish everything immediately stray from this cursed place. However, Beby had to finish everything tonight as well. Arka and Beby, finished right now. Got to!

"By—"

"Hulder!" concluded Beby. "I'm horrified." The girl sighed for a moment. "An affair is something that is done consciously. Or maybe, all this time your heart wasn't entirely for me?"

"But the Princess was—"

"I don't care who the Princess is!" snapped Beby. "You daughter of your first love, love monkey, I don't care! If you don't want to kill me, I'll kill you."

"By—"

"We broke up" said Beby. "Don't bother me again."

"But, By—"

"We. Breakup."

No longer wanting to meet Arka, Beby quickly left. However, Arka again held him back. The man crazily hugged Beby from behind, making his feelings even more uneasy.

"Sorry," whispered Arka on the sidelines of the stuffing Beby who unfortunately increasingly sound clear. "Sorry, By. Sorry."

Beby held his breath for a moment. When he felt enough to gather energy, he released Arka's embrace in one jolt.

Without a word, Beby entered his car and left the hospital area.

Hospitals. A place where people heal pain. However, this does not apply to Beby. Instead of getting treatment, he received such intense pain.

Arka who saw Beby's car missing at the intersection can only stare nanar in that direction. Just at that second, a drop of tears representing the chunks of pain in his heart casually plunged down the surface of Arka's cheeks.

"I'm sorry, By."
