Always Gonna Be You

Always Gonna Be You
34. The Baby Number Two or Three?

Orchids

On Saturday morning they actually planned to take Arung to go to Gembira Loka for the first time, but was forced to cancel because Friday night when he returned from campus, Arung suddenly had a cold.

Arung's breath becomes heavy, sometimes until like a person snoring. Too bad. Difficulty taking a breath makes Arung lazy to suck ASI. At the ends of Arung so fussy and often cry because it is still hungry but do not want to eat and drink as a result of a stuffy nose.

It has smeared bb transpulmin to the neck, chest, and back of Arung. Also mash the onion mixed with but-but oil to be poured into the feet Arung to keep warm. It can be a little relief Arung breathing, although still fussy. Be Saturday morning they just sit around in the living room.

"We go to the doctor. This is the first time Arung has a cold, huh?" Rendra though lazy to go to the hospital, but once saw Arung can not sleep and fuss overnight immediately gave the option to go to the doctor.

"Yes, this is the first time" he nodded. "Don't bang, the cold was just last night."

"But pity her breathing is heavy," Rendra approached to sit next to her while carrying a laptop.

"No fever, right?" Rendra stroked Arung's head.

"No," he shook his head. "Compared to last night, this has started to get better," he replied while pointing to Arung who had started to want to nen despite faltering.

"It looks like the influence of weather changes," he added while rubbing the head of Arung who again whined upset because it was difficult to swallow ASI.

"It's been polished balsam. Want to use saline nasal spray is still in doubt," he said while patting Arung's ass so that nen calmly.

"Why doubt?"

"Fear that even his snot went inside," he grimaced doubtfully.

"Just like I'm here" Rendra thrust a hand at him.

"The spray's in the room. Later, it's as sleepy as it looks. All later if we install the humidifier bobo, "luckily he has many cousins who have already had children, so a lot of knowledge and information is revealed to him. Especially about the equipment and supplies of any standard medicines that should be available at home.

"Yes how good do you think," said Rendra while opening the laptop on the lap.

"Yes, have I told you yet? Yesterday, Mr. Drajat called," continued Rendra who is now struggling in front of the laptop, seems to start writing a thesis.

"Hekhekhekhek..," Arung began to whine again because of difficulty swallowing.

"Yes dear..," he also re-polished Arung chest with transpulmin bb. "Later if his sputum comes out to be relieved. I'm not vomiting either."

"Hekhekhekhek.

"Call the doctor Barata, ask what the medicine is," Rendra frowned at the increasingly fussy Arung.

He did not answer, busy smearing Arung's chest with transpulmin bb, preferring to discuss Rendra's previous sentence, "Pak Drajat called why?"

Rendra rubbed the head of Arung who was still whining. Maybe because you feel comfortable with the touch of Rendra, Arung no longer whining, began sucking ASI even though it is still faltering.

"Nawarin became a guest lecturer," said Rendra who still rubbed the head of Arung.

His eyes immediately rounded to look at Rendra, "Abang answered yes ?

Rendra shook her head, "Not yet."

"Why not?" he was always excited every time the offer to teach came to Rendra. I don't know why the iconic scene on the graduation podium when the Dean of Philosophy patted Rendra on the shoulder and said, "Your fierce Dean and mewisuda is here" so deep in his heart.

Plus Rendra's above-average public speaking ability, clearly becomes the undisputed capital to plunge into the world of teaching. Moreover, Rendra's long-term vision is to be in a safe and stable place. Away from the hustle and bustle of business competition and business that often makes it hangar.

"Last month, the time was offered to pay for the same public lecture, Bela Negara Campus, okay?" his soldiers remembered something. "Had been invited with Bang Rakai's alma mater was also okay. Why was the alma mater invited to think?"

"The same time broke the invitation to the pre-contract meeting of the ministry."

He looked at Rendra did not understand, why it was still busy with a pile of work in ManjoMaju, even though the target of Rendra after marriage was immediately out of hand, full ManjoMaju managed by Rakai.

"Pak Drajat said, this public lecture is a bridge to become a guest lecturer in the class. Because many young IT lecturers are still studying outside, some are empty, there are no speakers."

His eyes were happy again. He would obviously say, 'Take a Bang, accept it, ' but to see that half of Rendra's soul is still in ManjoMaju, he finally prefers to say, "Meeting the same ministry is very important?"

Rendra nodded, "This is the last gate to hold or cut. Profitable good luck what profit when losing."

He frowned not understanding the meaning of Rendra's sentence just now. "Watch a handle?"

Rendra just stared straight at the laptop screen.

Okay, he understands, meaning Rendra still can't take off Rakai himself.

"Yes, how good it is according to Brother," in the end he had to say this. "When is the invitation?"

"Next week."

"Oh, there's still time," he tried to console himself, hopefully in the next few days, Rendra changed her mind.

"Yes, in addition to talking about the guest lecturer, Mr. Drajat also invited the three of us to dinner at his house."

"When?" he returned enthusiastic.

"Sunday night."

"I want to" he answered quickly. Perhaps meeting and talking directly with the wife of a master teacher could add references for him to support Rendra into a new world outside of business.

"The spirit is great" Rendra chuckled.

"Yes, it's like it's fun to talk to Mrs Drajat. In the past, when he was present at our reception just chatted for a while so exciting," he recalled when they both met Mr. Drajat and his wife at one of the banquet tables for VIP guests.

"But Arung again colds like this, when did we go out at night?"

He grimaced, "Yes too, yes" while stroking the plump arm of Arung who now began to calmly suck ASI while sleepy.

"But you said yes?" tanyanya wants to know.

"I said, later I asked the wife first sir," answered Rendra still remain concentrated on the laptop screen.

"Ih," he shriveled.

"Why?" Rendra's in a frown.

"The time must be a wife first, ntar I was mistaken for an authoritarian dictator's wife" he said.

Rendra chuckled, "Lho was really his first wife. What if you have an event?"

He returned to snort.

"If Arung is still a cold, let us both alone," said Rendra finally. "Arung let me at home with Mba Suko."

"But exciting too if you bring Arung Bang. He also went to the hospital twice. First time I was born, second time Arung was still in the NICU."

"Well, what about it, the cold child of the time is carried around."

"Yes, please install the humidifier now Bang, mumpung Arung bobo. Hope it'll relieve your breath quickly."

"Okay," Rendra nodded then kept the laptop on the sofa, then walked into the room to install a humidifier.

On Saturday night, Arung's breathing began to improve. Not as bad as last night. No more snoring when breathing. Truly thanks to the collaboration between baby balsam, onion and but-but oil, saline nasal spray, and humidifier. Plus unyielding Arung to drink ASI and still want to eat even a little. Making the fluid that enters the body is fulfilled until gradually the body's resistance begins to increase to fight the flu.

"Now it's not grok grok anymore," whispered Rendra right in his ear while watching Arung who was sleeping quietly.

He nodded with a smile, "Alhamdulillah. Know tomorrow you'll be invited to a night walk."

Rendra laughed a little. "Aren't you cape?" while beginning to trace his ears. "Sofa nganggur tuh long not be TKP," whispered Rendra followed by a warm breath blowing along the leaves of his ears.

Yeah, the young and dangerous always tempering me.

Sunday morning, although still often sneezing and runny nose, but Arung was not as fussy as two days ago. I want to calm down without crying. And already laughing giggled as Rendra invited him to play.

During the day Rendra meditated in his cave aka workspace, do not do anything. While Arung and himself slept well. Ahead of the afternoon when he had just started steaming cassava to be made gothuk lindri, Arung woke up.

After nen and eating biscuits, Arung want to be released to play alone in baby's playmat accompanied by Mba Suko. While he continued to make eddy lindri and fry mendoan to be taken to the house of Mr. Drajat.

And the miracle of preparing a baby to go is really felt now. Starting from bathing Arung, then when he just wanted to put on a pospak it turned Charcoal peed until his clothes wet the clothes to be worn that are still folded neatly on the side. He had to clean up all the mess. But once everything is done, Arung even pup. Yeah, my mom's lyfe.

Finally at exactly 18:35, they had been standing at the door of Mr. Drajat's house.

"Assalamualaik."

"Wa'alaikumsalam, please come in." Mr. Drajat himself who opened the door for them. "Well, finally....Rendra family. Ms...." Mr. Drajat called his wife. "It's you we've come."

"Woo..already big enough this is not good looking," Bu Drajat directly reached out to Arung who was busy biting the teether in Rendra's arm.

First Arung knitted his eyebrows at the sight of Bu Drajat, then frowned for a while, before finally laughing revealing his four little teeth, two above the two below.

"Iki critane the introduction of the cyclic field (this is the story of the introduction of the field first)," continued Mr. Drajat for the sake of seeing Arung's expression.

"Baby saiki yo ngene ki, nek ono unknown object kudu screening sik (baby now yes this way, if there is an unknown object, screening first)," said Bu Drajat while chuckling.

"Wis fortunately iki ora nangis. Lah anake Nawang nek paraded wong new lak nangis njur nangis (It's fortunate that this does not cry. Nawang's son when approached by new people even immediately cried)," added Bu Drajat while stroking Arung's cheek.

"Fatherwhat....Tatatata....," Arung who seemed to understand was being a direct spotlight show teeth with chattering.

"Well, pinter (wah, smart boy)," Drajat again reached out. "Derek Mbah nggoh Nang (follow grandma yuk nak)."

"Tatatatatatata...," Arung who was still busy chattering did not heed the invitation of Bu Drajat.

"Woo..ndak want to join Mbah to?" Mrs Drajat chuckled.

"Lho iki even ora luh piye (this is not even sitting down)," Mr. Drajat touched his wife's shoulder. "Please sit down first.had better to talk."

"Waiyo, change lali (until she forgets)," Drajat laughed. "Let's sit down first....."

Rendra smiled, nodding, while he pushed the box that had been held, "Monggo Bu (please Miss)."

"Well, don't bother piye iki (well, so bother how this is)," Bu Drajat smiled as he received a box from her.

"Mboten bothered Bu (Nevent bothered Bu)," Rendra who replied with a smile. "It's Purwokerto's special food made by my own wife."

"Wah iyo? Cook dhewe (cook itself)? Must be delicious iki (this must be delicious)," said Bu Drajat earnestly. "Maturnuwun son, I'll wait a moment yes..," Bu Drajat said to go inside.

"Your son iso looks like a karo kowe bianget, Ren (your son can look a lot like you, Ren). Iso ngono piye (can that be so)?" seloroh Mr. Drajat while laughing.

Rendra just laughed and said, "Concrete proof of anake kulo niki Pak (concrete proof of my son's sir)."

Soon after, Mrs Drajat reappeared, "Come, we'll just eat. Later go to night pity the baby."

Wow, this is really a special dinner event for the sake of seeing the rows of various dishes that have been served on the dining table. There is gulai head snapper, capcay, rawon, salted eggs, tofu tempeh, shrimp crackers, fruits, including mendoan and gethuk lindri which he carries.

"Come, please.eat the pot," continued Mr. Drajat while sitting on the chair.

"Well, this special big meal, sir," said Rendra.

"This is it, I don't want to sit here," Mrs Drajat came with a high chair. "It's got a grandson purposely left here, used when homecoming."

"Wah, maturnuwun sanget (thank you very much)," he also sat Arung on the high chair.

A warm dinner begins. Rendra had a conversation with Mr. Drajat, and what he had heard was Mr. Drajat's question to Rendra about, "Piye iso ngisi public lecture ora (how can fill public lecture not)?"

At the same time the support he really hopes comes from a figure like Mr. Drajat,

"Ora kudu S2, S3 saiki wis iso dadi guest lecturer (not necessarily S2, S3 now can guest lecturer action). Sing is important mastering the field."

"Saiki rectorate often yo ngundang practitioners (now rectorate often invite practitioners)."

"Men iso aweh a real picture of the world of work with students (so as to give a real picture of the world of work to students)."

"Lha kowe wis iso nduwe company yo itungane wis including practitioners (you have your own company count already entered practitioners)."

With Arung who is busy menyecapi papaya fruit gift from Bu Drajat.

"Pinter ate yo? Awake iso slick ngene ki (body can be good like this)," said Bu Drajat while rubbing the head of Arung.

"Alhamdulillah Ma'am."

Then Bu Drajat started telling her three daughters. Nawang, the eldest who also has a baby the age of Arung, in addition to being following a husband who underwent a post doc program in Japan, as well as taking a PhD for himself. Justjust wonderful.

Sekar, the second, has just earned an MBA from Oxford University. We will soon be returning to Indonesia for a wedding.

Very cool.

Then the youngest, Gendhis, had just flown to Aussie to retrieve the Master of urban planning.

"Gendhis was the same father who wanted to be fooled by Rendra" whispered Bu Drajat while chuckling. Making him laugh but frowning. Rendra is yes, his fans are everywhere. Hmmmm.

"Gara Rendra often to the house, continue to menggerasa sreg."

"But yes, his name is not a soul mate. Rendra is not interested in Gendhis. Lha Gendhis also did not want to be betrothed," Mrs Drajat shook her head.

"Child of today. Not Siti Nurbaya he said," seloroh Bu Drajat.

"Gendhis was the same age as Rendra, but he graduated first," continued Bu Drajat again who made him oh long. "It is different that Rendra TI, Gendhis Arsi. But yo's both techniques."

"But saiki Rendra yo wis ayem (but now Rendra is also calm)," said Bu Drajat while stroking his shoulder. "Udah has a small family, an ayu wife, a handsome son. Complete wis (complete)."

"Mother..," he glanced at Rendra who was laughing with Mr. Drajat. "Can it not?"

"What is Nduk...what is it?"

He must complete the mission to find out the picture of the world of teaching that he has been doing both for decades - Bu Drajat is also a Kaprodi at FMIPA blue campus-.

With the background of the laughter of Rendra and Mr. Drajat, as well as the chattering of Arung, he listened carefully to the explanation of Mrs Drajat. Hoping to be a capital for him to support Rendra to tread the new world outside the business.

"Lho, even so preoccupied with talking," continued Bu Drajat. "Take a chat while eating so you can get everything," said Mrs Drajat as she pulled out a bowl of bulky snapper heads that look delicious tempting towards her.

But for some reason, as soon as he smelled the distinctive aroma of gulai, his stomach suddenly nauseated mercilessly. Get him permission to go to the bathroom.

Almost five minutes in the bathroom, nausea suddenly disappeared. It changed into an immeasurable dizziness.

"Why Nduk?" ma'am Drajat asked as he came out of the bathroom. "Lho kok so pukete ngono (lho so pale so). Opo pain?"

He shook his head, "Mboten Ma (not Ma). Mung niki wau (just recently) weteng kados uyel-uyelan (nausea stomach)."

Ms. Drajat looked at her with a probing gaze, "Opo pregnant meneh (what's pregnant again)?"

Along the way home he more quietly contemplated the words of Mrs Drajat, while Arung slept on the baby car seat.

"Opo pregnant meneh?"

"Opo pregnant meneh?"

"Nggi?!"

He was aghast as soon as he heard Rendra calling, "W-what?"

"You daydreaming?" Rendra shook his head.

He just smiled stiffly. "What's the big thing just now?"

"So what was the conversation with Mrs Drajat, like really fun?"

He just sneered, "Talking about a former potential ghost."

Rendra laughed, "What the hell."

"If seen in the family photo in the middle room earlier, Mba Gendhis is beautiful, why is it that Abang nolak?"

"Reject what?" Rendra was still laughing.

"Dih," his his hiss was upset. "Don't pretend you don't know."

Rendra just shook his head while scrambling the top of his head. Along with the attack of nausea just like the moment he smelled the smell of gulai. Spontaneously shuts his mouth.

"Why?" Rendra.

He just shook his head, "I don't know how nauseous you are all of a sudden."

"Wind in?"

He shrugged his shoulders.

"Lack of sleep last night two nights stay up with a runny nose."

"May it only catch the wind Bang," he said expectantly. Because again the words of Mrs Drajat again ring in the ear.

"Opo pregnant meneh?"

"Opo pregnant meneh?"

It doesn't feel possible. Because before returning from the hospital he took the time to install the IUD according to input from dr. Mazaya's. So that he is more focused on caring for high-risk Arung. At once gave a pause because she went through the process of giving birth caesarean.

Plus for 5 almost 6 months since giving birth, she never got her period. He thought because he was breastfeeding Arung, which can also act as a natural KB. But what if it's nausea now?

On Monday morning when both were about to go to work he said to Rendra, "Bang, today I bring my own. There's training in the office till night. So from college I went back to the office."

"I'm not sending papa."

"Oh, no need. Later even back and forth his brother. Anyway if Abang finished first can go straight home nemenin Arung. I'm worried about getting too fucking malemic."

"OK," Rendra nodded in agreement.

Tonight at the office there was training. But he allowed the first two sessions because he wanted to go to see dr. Mazaya's. Yeah, he went alone, without Rendra. Just want to make sure whether the nausea and dizziness that since yesterday often struck it common cold or.....

"Positive," dr. Mazaya showed her pregnancy test results showing strip two.

"W-can I Doc?" tanyanya pias's. Arung even next month just turned 6 months old. This was clearly far beyond his expectations.

"Aren't I wearing an IUD? How can you still?" he repeated the same question.

"The effectiveness of the IUD to prevent pregnancy actually reaches 99%. But it could be that the mother who has been using an IUD is pregnant, although it is very rare, only about less than 5%."

"So I'm among the 5%?"

Dr. Mazaya smiled, "It could be. After this we look through USG yes. Usually pregnancy occurs because the IUD shifts little or even everything."

"B-but the last control isn't it still good Doc?" he remembered very well, a month after the IUD was installed he followed the advice of dr. Mazaya for IUD location control. And it was still in the right position.

"Well, let's see" said dr. Mazaya while moving towards the USG equipment.

And as just yesterday he experienced, lay down on the examination table, smeared with cold gel by the nurse, and then dr. Mazaya twirled the ultrasound device on his stomach.

"Yes right, the IUD is shifting," pointed dr. Mazaya to the screen.

"Now we see." dr. Mazaya smiled meaningfully. "The Anggi MBA is really fertile. Look....," while waiting for the screen.

"A healthy pregnancy with a nice uterine sac, a good heartbeat. Now we check how big the prospective younger brother Arung. Mazaya's.

"Well, look.I'm already as big as a Mami bean" said dr. Mazaya's. "The length is 5 mm, 6 weeks."

"Congratulations to the second baby Mba Anggi" continued dr. Mazaya. "Second or third, huh?"
