Casey was still in Mr. Smith's office building, and listening to the two men talk. Casey is curious about the disappearance of both grandsons of Mr. Smith.
“They're missing where, Mister?” It's actually unethical for Casey to ask considering she's just an assistant, but curiosity drives her to ask questions.
“They are gone when they will return to Madrid after vacationing in Barcelona,” replied Mr. Smith by trying to smile to Casey.
“Are they kidnapped?” Casey's curiosity led her to ask Mr. Smith again.
“No.” Finally Mr. Smith recounts the chronology of his two grandchildren to Casey from the beginning of the child and his son-in-law died to why his two grandchildren lived in Madrid and went missing.
Casey's face looked serious hearing Mr. Smith tell a story, occasionally nodding his head, and watching Mr. Smith's countenance.
“I'm sorry, Sir,” Casey said with a sad face. “So all this time you stayed by yourself?” Mr. Smith tried to smile and nod his head.
Casey did not want to ask any more considering that it was the saddest thing that Mr. Smith had ever experienced, from the look on his face he missed both his grandchildren so much.
“Until now I have survived because I believe one day we will meet,” Mr. Smith said excitedly. He didn't want to be sad not to get sick.
“That's for sure,” chirps mister Frank. “Oh yes, Nathan's company that you gave me is getting better.” Mr. Frank deliberately diverted the ceremony because he did not want Mr. Smith to be sad.
“Ah .. thank you, Smith. I'm very happy to hear, in your hands my son's company is more advanced,” said Mr. Smith. Now his face looks happy.
“Walau’pun you are busy but still had time to take care of my son's company,” he continued while staring at Mr. Frank.
“I promised you to always keep an eye on that company. All right I have to go now, there's something I have to finish,” said Mr. Frank as he stood up followed by Casey.
“Thank you for visiting my office.” Once again, Mr. Smith said by patting Mr. Frank's back gently.
Mr. Smith looked at Casey and smiled, he was so happy to see the girl reminding him of her granddaughter. Mr. Smith greeted Casey and gently patted Casey's arm.
“Often-often visit here even without mr Frank.” Casey smiled and nodded her head.
“Good, Mr.” The man was so happy that he drove Mr. Frank and Casey into the lobby.
Mr. Frank and Casey got into the car and waved to Mr. Smith. They immediately left Mr. Smith's company and returned to the office.
In the car Casey was still thinking about Mr. Smith and Mr. Frank's talk about Mr. Smith's grandson, he was very curious to hear the name of Dany who wanted to eliminate the two children. With great courage he asked Mr. Frank.
“Sorry, Sir. Is Dany the son of Mr Smith?” Hearing Casey's question, Mr. Frank immediately turned his gaze to Casey, who had been looking at Mr. Smith's building.
“Oh, actually this is very secret. Later when it is in the office I will tell you,” said Mr. Frank with a smile and then back to turn his eyes forward.
Casey just nodded her head, suddenly her phone rang. Casey pulls out of the bag and sees a call from Wesley. The girl did not want to answer the phone in front of Mr. Frank, she declined the call and sent a message to Wesley.
I'm still on my way to the office with Mr. Frank, and I'll call you later. Casey put the phone back in the bag and looked out the window.
Not long after they arrived at the office, Casey walked behind Mr. Frank to the man's room. Casey's still curious about Dany's story.
Arriving in the room, Mr. Frank tells Casey to sit down while he opens the safe and pulls out some maps and places them on the table. Mr. Frank sits in front of Casey and opens the map.
Mr. Frank pulls out all the contents on the map and shows Casey. Before he tells her, Casey, Mr. Frank wants the girl to know the ins and outs of why Nathan's company he took over.
When returning from Mr. Smith's company, the old man notices Casey and there is something that makes him interested in believing in Casey so that Frank takes a decision to teach Casey how to be a leader.
“Begini, Casey. I want you to learn everything on this page,” said Mr. Frank while showing the sheets that are already on the table.
“This is an important document and company reports from Mr. Smith's son.” Casey watched the sheet with a frown.
He didn't understand what Mr. Frank meant by showing all the documents and reports of Mr. Smith's subsidiary company while he was just an assistant.
“I want you to learn it, later if you can you who will take care of the company.” Casey rolled her eyes at what Mr. Frank had said.
“Meanour?” casey asked, holding some sheets given by Mr. Frank.
“Begini, Casey. Maybe you won't believe why I'm doing this. Looking at you I'm sure you're a smart and honest boy.” Casey frowned hearing every remark from master Frank.
“I can not take care of two at once, at this time the company is still held by one of my staff. I can only see the reports he gave,”, said Mr. Frank.
“If someone already holds the company for what do I take care of it?” ask Casey in surprise.
“Begini, Casey. I heard my staff playing behind me, so I want you to take over the company. I believe in you!” said Mr. Frank firmly.
“For now I will teach you how to be a leader. I trust all the decisions in your hands,” the man continued with a smile.
“Mean, Mister?” Casey is getting more confused, he wants Mr. Frank to explain more details to him.
“Casey, I made you not just my assistant. But I give you the power to dismiss employees both he head of department and manager who made a mistake.” Mr. Frank wants to see if Casey can be made a leader or not.
“But ...” Casey stopped and looked at Mr. Frank. He felt that the man was overdoing it giving him so much confidence.
“Do you not want to be a successful woman?” ask Mr. Frank by interrupting the girl.
Casey just kept quiet and thought, if he could live up to the trust that Mr. Frank gave him. Being a successful woman was her dream but Casey was only afraid that she would let him down.
“You should try it, I give you a chance to learn,” refer to Mr. Frank.
“Alright, Sir. I'll try it.” Mr. Frank seems happy to hear that.
“That's great.” So glad to hear Mr. Frank clapping and praising Casey. All right, now you go back to your room and learn all this.” Mr. Frank gave all the sheets on the table to Casey.
Casey put all the sheets back into the map and stood up and said goodbye to Mr. Frank. Casey left Frank's room and passed Adam by.
“Hi, Adam. May I ask you to come with me to my room?” casey asked with a face pleading with the man.
Casey wanted to ask Adam for an opinion on his conversation with Mr. Frank, because adam once encouraged him when he brought the report requested by Mr. Frank.
“Alright, is there anything important?” adam asked as he walked beside Casey to the girl's room.
“Nothing, but I just want to ask your opinion.” Adam stopped his steps and turned to look at Casey.
“My rider?” Casey nodded her head slowly.
Without having Adam sit on the couch, she notices Casey walking to the desk and putting the map down and walking back to her.
“What opinion do you want from me?” adam asked as Casey sat in front of him.
“Begini, Adam ..” Casey told him all about what she had to do with Mr. Frank, and Adam nodded his head.
“I'm glad to hear it, Casey. I think you take it all. It's a very good opportunity for you,” said Adam eagerly.
“I'm so sure you can, Casey.” Back Adam gives encouragement to Casey, because the opportunity will not come a second time.
“But, Adam. I'm afraid to laugh at Mr. Frank,” Casey said with his head bowed.
For Casey this is a huge trust for him while he has no experience at all. Casey was afraid that he would fail.
“Casey, you have to believe in yourself. I'm sure you can, if you need my help I'm definitely willing.” Adam is very supportive of Casey, since the beginning he has been sympathetic to the girl.
Casey raised her face to look at Adam, her face turned calm as the man supporting her was even willing to help her. At the company Casey did not know much of the staff, Adamlah the first employee he knew.
“Thank you, Adam. You are so good,” Casey said with a smile.
“Sama-sama,” reply Adam. The man was happy that Casey was finally willing to accept an offer from Mr. Frank, Adam was very sure Casey could.
Valencia
Zelo woke up, he saw the clock hanging on the wall was showing at 10:45am, he sat on the bed and looked around the room.
“I have to find where else, ah .. Casey you drive me crazy.” Zelo got off the bed and went to the bathroom, he washed his face and looked into the mirror.
“He really left me, it was all because of my stupidity. Why would I prefer Sabino over saving him.” He looked so angry, Zelo threw a fist into the mirror that the glass broke.
Blood flowed from his hand due to the broken mirror, Zelo bowed and then turned on the water faucet and put his hand under the water.
Not long after Zelo came out and walked forward, he looked for Felix but did not find the man. Zelo got into the car and returned to his residence, all the way he thought of Casey.
“Anna and Diaz must have known where Casey went but they both covered it up from me.” Zelo hit the steering wheel of the car, his face looked extremely angry.
Zelo arrived at his residence, he went straight into the kamat. Zelo sat down on the sofa and took out the powder that was still in a small pouch and placed it on the table.
Zelo inhaled the powder, he rubbed his nose repeatedly and went back to inhaling it. Zelo leaned against the sofa and closed his eyes.
“Casey, you really left me. Absolutely not giving me a chance.” Clear water flowed in the corner of the man's eyes.
Zelo got up from his seat and walked to the bed, slowly he lay down and closed his eyes. He used the powder to keep his mind away from Casey, just that way Zelo did it.
Houston
Casey sat in front of a glass window studying what Mr. Frank had given him, occasionally twitching the space between his eyebrows while reading things he did not understand.
He looked out the window and noticed the towering multi-storey buildings, back he thought of Zelo. The wonderful memories of their four years together were not easy to forget.
The girl bowed, suddenly tears fell on the white paper. Casey placed the sheet on the table then stood up and went to the room. He threw his body on the bed and cried.
“So hard I forget you, but I believe with time you will definitely disappear from my memory.”
Casey wakes up and picks up the phone at the nightstand next to her bed, looking for Anna's number. Casey misses her best friend very much, she immediately calls Anna's number. Not long after, Anna's voice was heard across the phone.
“Hallo, who is this?” ask Anna. He didn't know it was Casey's number, when in Valencia the girl changed the new number.
“Hi, Anna. It's Casey,” Casey said as he stood up and went out onto the balcony.
“Casey ...” Anna's screams deafened Casey's ear so that the girl kept the phone away from her ear.
“Where have you been, I miss you so much?” anna said in a very happy voice getting a call from Casey.
“I miss you too, how are you and Diaz?” casey asked as she crossed her legs on the chair and looked at the darkening sky.
“I'm fine, where are you now?” Anna asked back, because Casey hadn't told her where she was going.
“Um ... I will tell you but promise not to let Zelo know,” pinta Casey while moving the phone to the other ear.
“Yes, I promise. Trust me,” said Anna convinced Casey that she could be trusted.
“Alright, I am now in America and I have also got a job here,” Casey said with a glowing face.
“Really? You're getting further away, Casey.” Anna doesn't believe Casey went that far to get away from Zelo.
“For my sake, I want to forget about Zelo. If I stay in Valencia he will definitely find me,” Casey said.
“Iya, right too. Oh yeah, so you've got a job?” ask Anna from the other end of the phone.
“Iya, I work in one of the big companies as a personal assistant.” Casey explained to Anna.
“Wow, you're great. I didn't think so in America you got a job,” praise Anna and Casey smiled.
Casey was also grateful, when he arrived in America precisely in the city of Houston he did not have to bother looking for work. He was very lucky to meet Wesley.
“Iya, Anna. I'm so lucky, I'll call you later. I have to finish my job,” Casey said as he stood up and went to the living room.
“Alright then, tell me often,” pinta Anna across the phone.
“Of course, bye.” Casey hung up the phone and then he took back the sheet on the table and read it.
Happy reading.
