At the police station, Mr. Frank and Wesley immediately met the Sheriff who handled the accident Isaiah, now they are both in the room to see CCTV shown by one of the officers.
Mr. Frank and Wesley's unblinking eyes stared at the monitor, which showed how the chronology of Isaiah's accident was. There it shows Isaiah walking on the edge towards the supermarket which is located about 200m.
While from a distance a black sedan car with high speed hit Isaiah so that the man bounced and unconscious. Then the sheriff showed me another CCTV recording where the vehicle had been in the basement for a long time.
“This means it was purely not an accident, my sister was targeted,” Wesley said as he stopped CCTV footage and enlarged the car.
It was a pity that the windows were dark so Wesley could not see who was driving the vehicle. The sheriff also checked the license plate of the car but it was fake.
“About who hit Isaiah?” ask Mr. Frank by frowning.
“I don't know either, Grandpa. Could it be the guy who doesn't like him marrying Casey?” Wesley's thoughts were now on Zelo aka Asher.
“Do you think this is from Zelo?” mr. Frank asked Wesley with his eyes.
“Yes, only she doesn't like Casey getting married with Isaiah.” Wesley immediately asks the sheriff to investigate Zelo because only the man he suspects.
After finishing viewing the CCTV footage, Frank and Wesley leave the police station. Wesley returned to the hospital while the old man went to his residence.
When Wesley arrives at the hospital, he meets Casey and his family who are still waiting outside. Wesely gestured for Casey to come with him.
Casey lets go of Ellie's embrace and follows Wesley as he walks to the front of the hospital. He approached Wesley and stood beside the man.
“What's up, Wesley? Did you get any information about Isaiah's accident?” casey asked with a sad face, still looking her eyes puffy.
“I saw the CCTV footage and the car did indeed accidentally hit Isaiah,” Wesley replied by staring at Casey. “Do you think this is Zelo?”
“Yes he is the only one who always tries to separate me and Isaiah,” Casey replied with confidence.
“It's a shame that the license plate of the car is fake otherwise the police will be able to track it down,” Wesley muttered with an annoyed face.
He can't prove that Zelo was behind his sister's accident, but Wesley now has to work hard to find out who the man in the car is.
“I'll see Zelo, I need an answer from him.” Casey's face was full of hatred for the man, she was very sure the former was the man behind her husband's accident.
“Let's go, Isaiah needs you right now even though’pun he is not aware you should always be by his side.” Casey nodded her head and went back inside.
Doctors have not allowed any of the families to enter to see Isaiah, but the man is still in a critical condition and needs intensive care.
“Dok, have I not been able to see my husband?” ask Casey with a face. Already this day even met the night Casey has not been allowed to see the state of her husband.
Hynes and her husband Ellie keep Casey company, they don't want to let her wait for her husband. Unceasingly Isaiah's mother calmed the son-in-law who continued to cry even though’pun his heart was also very sad with what happened to his son.
The next day, after going through a critical period, Casey was able to go in to see her husband. Officers gave medical clothes and masks and headgear to enter the room where Isaiah was being treated.
Casey's heart was so broken to see her husband in a coma head wrapped in a wrap, neck in a pair of refusals and his right hand that was still wrapped due to a broken.
Casey sat beside the gurney and looked at her husband, tears instantly dripping down her cheeks seeing the man she loved lying helplessly with her eyes closed. Casey stroked Isaiah's hand while watching her husband's pale face.
“I will never forgive someone who has done evil to you,” murmured Casey by wiping her tears.
While outside the family Isaiah only see Casey and her husband through the glass, because the condition of the patient is still vulnerable doctors only allow a maximum of one person inside.
Mr. Hynes sat beside the gurney and watched the son's body, his face looking very sad. He stroked Isaiah's cheek and whispered in the son's ear.
“I will look for the person who has hit you on purpose, I will not forgive them.” Mr. Hynes' face was dark.
He stood up and kissed Isaiah's forehead and then gave the opportunity to his wife who had been impatient to see their son. Mr. Hynes sat down beside Casey and watched his daughter-in-law's face.
“About who accidentally hit Isaiah?” Casey shook her head in response to her father-in-law's question.
“Do you have absolutely no enemies here?” This time it was Ellie who asked Casey because she thought Isaiah had recently moved to Houston.
“No, I am also here just over a year and have not many friends except the people in the office,” Casey replied with a look at Ellie.
Casey has not wanted to say her suspicions against Zelo, she wants to go head-to-head with her ex. If it was Zelo who did it, Casey would not hesitate to reply.
Not long after that lady Hynes came out with puffy eyes, as long as inside she continued to cry to see the state of her son. Mrs Hynes sat down next to her husband and placed her head on the man's arm.
While at the office, Asher gets word that Isaiah had an accident. He wants to see Casey but Asher finally uncovers his intentions.
Asher doesn't know that Isaiah's accident was intentionally caused by someone until he finally gets word from the assistant about Casey's lover. Asher is immediately suspicious of Dany, as the last time he met the man advised Asher to kill Isaiah.
“Don't Casey suspect me of Isaiah's accident, I have to see him.” Asher stood up and went to Mr. Smith's office.
Along the way Asher keeps thinking about Casey, he doesn't want the woman to hate him. Although Asher was not present at the wedding but he had already arranged Casey's marriage with Isaiah, he knew the former did not love him anymore.
Arriving at Asher's office headed straight to Mr. Smith's room, without knocking on the door the man immediately entered and greeted the grandfather and sat down on the sofa.
“Did granpa already know that Isaiah had an accident?” asher asked with his legs crossed and looked at the grandfather.
“Yes, I got word from Mr. Frank. Police are still investigating Isaiah's accident, I hope you are not involved.” Asher smiled smirk, he understood Mr. Smith saying so.
“Just calm down, I can't possibly do such a low deed. I'll find out who hit Isaia.” Asher's strong guess is Dany.
“I believe you,” said Mr. Smith as he stood and sat in front of Asher. “About who hit Isaia?”
“My guess is Dany, because last met her she provoked me to kill Isaiah but I didn't respond to her.” Mr. Smith shook his head at Dany.
“Ck, the guy again. If only your conjecture was Dany but what is her purpose.” Asher laughed then got up from his seat and went to stand in front of the window as his eyes stared out.
“Granpa didn't know that Dany hated Casey so much, when I kidnapped Casey she was also after him but my men first got Casey so there was a shootout.” Mr. Smith was surprised, he got up and walked over to Asher.
“Really?” asked Mr. Smith with a face of disbelief.
“Yes, Dany is furious that Casey fired all of Dany's people and closed the same job as her company.” Mr. Smith did not believe what he had just heard.
“You know where?” is from mr. Smith asked with a scratch on his chin as if it were itching.
“While in Venezuela I ordered my assistant to investigate Dany and they provided such information, Granpa could ask Casey if it was true or not what I said.” Mr. Smith again sat on the work chair, his face turning red withstanding anger.
“Is granpa not going to the hospital?” Asher asked as he walked over and sat back down.
“Sore later I will go to the hospital with Mr. Frank, I will investigate whether this is really Dany's doing or not.” Asher nodded his head and said goodbye to Mr. Smith and returned to his office.
