As Alice hurried out of the office, she wanted to meet Nathan who was waiting for her in the car park. Alice saw the lover standing beside the vehicle, she approached the man and hugged him.

“Sorry to have you waiting,” Alice said by wrapping both hands around Nathan's back. His face looked happy every time he met this man.

“No problem, Honey. Let's go home, we'll have dinner together at my parents' house.” Alice frowned looking at Nathan, every time going to the man's parents' house Alice's feelings were always erratic.

“Why is your face like that?” nathan asked gently stroking Alice's cheek.

“Every time will go to your parents' house, my heart feels like it wants to stop.” Nathan chuckles at Alice's words.

“Come on, my dad invited us to dinner together. Do not mind my mother,” beg Nathan by gently rubbing Alice's hair.

“Good.” Nathan looks happy, finally Alice wants to come along to her parents' house.

Nathan opens the car door for Alice, after Alice enters he walks to the other side and sits behind the wheel. Nathan immediately drove Alice home to the apartment.

While not far from them it appears Ruth is watching the two couples. As Nathan's car leaves the parking lot, Ruth follows Nathan's vehicle by keeping her distance.

The woman wanted to know where Nathan and Alice were going, as soon as Nathan's car stopped at the apartment location, Ruth also stopped her vehicle and watched them from inside the car.

“Oh turns out he lives here.” Ruth is Alice, because her former home is her own. The woman smiled then left the parking lot and returned to her residence.

The night Nathan and his girlfriend went to his father's Mansion, Nathan held Alice's hand and entered the residence of his parents. It appears that in the family room already present Dany with his wife and daughter, there is also a sitting Mr. Smith and his wife. Seeing Nathan and Alice, Mr. Smith stood up and greeted his son and lover.

“Welcome.” Mr. Smith hugged Nathan and greeted Alice. “Let's go to the dining room.”

Madam Smith and Lea stared at Alice from head to head with unpleasant faces, they did not like the presence of Alice.

Nathan holds Alice's hand and walks into the dining room with Mr. Smith followed by Dany and his wife and Mrs Smith. Nathan pulled out a chair and told Alice to sit down and she sat down next to Alice.

The floater starts arranging the food on the table, Alice and Nathan open the plate. So did Mr. Smith and his wife, they began to take food.

At the dining table there is no one’pun which opens the sound of a very quiet atmosphere, all of which focus on the food on their plates. While Alice did not want to look at Madame Smith and Lea, because their faces were both very unpleasant to look at.

Finish eating Mr. Smith talking to Nathan and Alice and Dany. While Lady Smith as well Lea went to the living room, the two of them did not want to get involved with the conversation of the three men as well as Alice.

“How is your company?” ask Mr. Smith after finishing wiping the wine.

“Walked well, as daddy knows I am currently building an apartment.” Mr. Smith nodded his head and smiled, knowing that Nathan's company was big.

“Good then,” muttered master Smith then looked at Alice. “I heard while in college you’pun working, is it true?”

“True, Mr.” Alice looks nervous to answer Mr. Smith's question and Nathan holds the woman's hand to calm her down.

“Oh, which company?” Back Mr. Smith asked, in fact he did not want to know where Alice worked but to be closer he asked the woman a question.

“Miller cooperation, as assistant.” Mr. Smith raised both eyebrows staring at Alice, knowing Miller's company was huge in Houston.

“Excellent breakup,” praise Mr. Smith by raising a glass filled with wine and drinking it.

“When are you getting married?” dany asked to share her father's conversation with Alice.

“Next month, Alice graduation is done,” Nathan replied by holding Alice's hand and smiling at the woman.

“Good then,” said Mr. Smith hearing Nathan's reply.

“You two come with me to the workspace.” Mr. Smith stood up and left Nathan as well as Alice and Dany, he headed straight to his study.

Nathan and Alice stand up and go to Mr. Smith's office, passing through Alice's middle room holding Nathan's arm because it has been stared at sharply by two women who hate him.

Alice lowered her head as she passed by Madam Smith and Alice, she did not want to see the faces of the two women. Alice enters with Nathan in Mr. Smith's study.

Mr. Smith smiled at Nathan and Alice, telling them to sit down and open the drawer and take out a box. Mr. Smith opened the thing and showed it to Nathan.

“I want to give this to Alice as your wedding gift, pair this ring when you get married in church.” Nathan stood up and took the box from Mr. Smith and noticed the diamond-said ring.

“But I've prepared my wedding ring and Alice.” The ring in Nathan's hand was a favorite of Mr. Smith.

“Do not reject it, I will be disappointed.” Alice stood up and held Nathan's arm while watching the ring.

“I'll wear it at the wedding later.” Alice does not want to disappoint Mr. Smith, she asks Nathan to grant her father's request.

“Alright then.” Mr. Smith seemed very happy that Nathan and Alice finally received the ring. Without them noticing, Madam Smith peeked and heard the talk of Mr. Smith and Nathan and Alice.

“Isn't that his late wife's ring?” Madame Smith's face was angry to see the ring handed to Alice. Mrs Smith returned to the living room and sat down to wait for her husband to finish talking to the couple.

“What's up?” lea asked curiously to the in-laws.

“Ah, no.” Mrs Smith didn't want to tell Lea what she saw.

While Nathan and Alice did not linger in the study, they both said goodbye to Mr. Smith. Passing through the middle room the lovers also say goodbye to the mistress Smith and Lea.

While in front of the house, Nathan crosses paths with Dany. He said goodbye to the sister and invited Alice to get into the car, they both immediately left the residence of Mr. Smith.

Nathan escorts Alice to the apartment, although’pun already engaged they both still live apart. Not long after Nathan and Alice arrived, the man opened the door for his lover and gently kissed the woman's lips.

“Tomorrow I'll pick you up.” Alice just smiled and nodded her head.

“Alright, I'm in now.” Alice kissed Nathan's cheek and left the man and went inside. As soon as Alice entered, Nathan drove back to his residence.

While at the residence of Mr. Smith, there was a husband and wife quarrel in the workspace. Mrs Smith was so angry that she gave Alice a diamond ring.

“Alice would-be wife Nathan, you have to accept that,” exclaimed Mr. Smith angrily to his wife who was too insistent so that the husband did not approve of Nathan and Alice's relationship.

“Are you not ashamed of having a poor daughter-in-law?” Mr. Smith laughed at the wife's words that made no sense to him.

“Before you insult Alice, look at you. Whether you forget who you were, you were just Nathan's nanny and then I took it to be wife.” Mrs Smith rounded her eyes in disbelief at what her husband said.

“You insulted me?” shrieking Madame Smith with teary eyes, she did not expect her husband to bring up her identity.

“Not insulting, but it's a reality. That's why I tell you, don't you ever get in the way of what my son chooses.” Mr. Smith walked up to his wife and looked at her.

“Walau’pun you take care of Nathan from the age of three, does not mean you have to manage his life. Remember that! One more thing, the ring I gave to Alice belongs to the late mother of Nathan.” Mrs Smith could not say anything she looked very disappointed to her husband.

“Even though’pun you have been my wife for decades but I only love Nathan's mother, all I have is the property of my late wife. So don't rule my son's life too much, just take care of your independent son.” Mr. Smith left his wife and went to the room.

Actually, Mr. Smith did not want to bring up who his wife used to be, but he did not like to hear the woman go on and on insulting Alice as if she was a wealthy woman before marrying him.
